Good food. Friendly staff. Nice room. And very reasonable prices.

Top marks to Franek (I think that's how to spell it). I asked him to bring my coffee and desert at the same time (most restaurants cannot manage this) and he made a special effort to bring them together. With a good sense of humour too :-)

The meal and night out was a nice touch of normality in these strange times. Tables spaced well - with perspex dividers. There was a nice buzz in the room with most tables occupied (on a Sunday night). Well done to all; management and staff.

Final thought - I suggest the use of visors for the staff. It's easier to interact and probably more comfortable for the wearer than a mask.

Was here tonight for food with some friends & really enjoyed it. Although not everything was available on the menu as the sold out because the were busy all day. Anything we did have was delicious well presented & loads off. When we got the bill we were all very shocked as it was so Reasonably priced considering there was steak & desserts on our order along with drinks. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Can’t wait to go back to try something else on the menu.

I have to say that we all received a beautiful dinner in The Grand Hotel Moate in their restaurant for The Steak Night Special. 4 course's for €19.95 each along with a bottle of house wine for €14.00. Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was just as good. Huge value and nothing left out with the best of quality and presentation not to mention flavours. 100% and nothing less.

Lovely dinner in the grand hotel this evening . Food was delicious as always . We ordered the carbonara, the steak burger and the turkey and ham all of which was top class. COVID regulations were all in place and we felt very safe. Service was also excellent especially Mark who was very friendly and took pictures for us . Great spot for some good food .

Good abiemce in the hotel. We had a meal and they served excellent food and have very friendly and efficient staff. The food was cooked to perfection and made with fresh produce. It is in a very central location and plenty of parking outside the hotel.

Met some friends for Carvery Lunch on Sunday. It was busy but service was prompt. The food was your typical carvery I had turkey and ham and it was very tasty my other half had the beef and again said it was tasty. Generous portions. For me the veg a little overcooked but if my Mam was with me she’d have loved it so it’s down to personal preference. The gravy was lovely. Our friends cleared their plates too. We stayed long into the afternoon having drinks and had a nice time in relaxing surroundings with friendly staff.
