We are a family owned inn at the crossroads of river, rainforest, and village and offer great in-house tours and a local breakfast every morning. We are known for our guided tours within Santa Fe National Park and are participating growers within Santa Fe Coffee Cooperative. We also organize horseback riding and rent innertubes. Our inn has six rooms - each with a private entrance and patio. Many rooms have views of Santa Fe National Park (mountain view). Others face the interior courtyard (garden view). On the inn grounds, we also have a demonstration coffee plot. We offer a dinner service for those who order ahead.

We stayed three nights at the hotel. We met both owners, and they were helpful and friendly and provided us with all the details about the town and activities. We got a room with a Queen bed and a lovely terrace so you can take your breakfast with the beautiful view of the mountains. The gardens are well taken care of, and the common areas are excellent to spend time with friends and family. The internet is not that good, but it should not be a surprise since you are in the mountains. Bring a book because if you get rain, you will not get any signal and no TV in the room. The hotel provides rubber boots because the trails get muddy, and I believe you will get rain. Tips: Get gas after Santiago; you will not find any gas station on your way to Santa Fe, or if you plan to go to Calovebora (Caribbean Cost), you will want to have more than half of a tank. The gas station is 1hr from Santa Fe. There are several waterfalls that you can visit in the area and trails. Bring a sweater, flashlight ( we got a blackout that lasted almost 8hrs), bring a raining coat (we got three days of rain). Overall the place is perfect, and my family and I will come back soon. We planned to go to escudo de Veraguas (1.30 hrs boat ride from Calovebora) with an additional 2hrs car ride from Santa Fe, but we had to cancel the trip due to the weather. Keep always in touch with the local guy for weather updates in the Caribbean.

We stayed 3 nights at Coffee Mountain and fell in love. The hosts are wonderful warm, welcoming people. The rooms are done to perfection, classy, classic, comfortable and charming. You have everything you need. One small request is WiFi in the rooms. There is however WiFi in the common area that’s fast and reliable. We didn’t do a tour with Chaeli but will for sure next time. They both know the area well and we would love to experience it with Chaeli as our guide. Thank you both for a great stay, we will see you again.

We spent only one night, but this was our second time in the same place. The place is very nice and quite, and for us the cleanest is very important, more than other things. The breakfast was great, just what they offer on the photos and on the menu.

Stayed here to explore Santa Fe on our way to Boquete. Location: The property is clean and well maintained. The view from the room is breathtaking and relaxing. Rooms: Clean and comfortable. All rooms have a patio that over look the forest and mountains which is a perfect setting for breakfast in the AM. Activities: Celestino & Chaeli set up a night hike that was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and one of the most eagle eyed people ever. If you are considering a trip to Santa Fe stay at Coffee Mountain Inn you will not be disappointed. The hotel was very clean and in full compliance of Covid best practices put in place by the government of Panama and followed CDC guidelines as well.

The property is attractive and clean. The setting is beautiful, and the staff are friendly. The beds are comfortable. The breakfasts and in-room coffee are excellent. The owners, Chele and Celestino, are a young couple striving for highest quality in their modest mountain town lodging. This trip we opted to take Celestino’s Coffee Tour, and very glad we did. The tour is well thought out, from the informative introduction to growing and drying coffee, to a walk through a local coffee “plantation”, to a visit to Santa Fe’s Coffee Cooperative where some beans are further processed and all are graded, roasted and distributed. I bought several pounds of each of their brands for enjoying at home. They are my favorite coffees. THIS WAS BEFORE COVID-19 BECAME AN INTERNATIONAL THREAT.
