Detailed Reviews
Cleanliness was remarkable. Despite being near a major traffic thoroughfare the room was very quiet. We appreciated the "dated" wooden furnitures and fixtures which are not dilapidated. The location was such that we were able to walk over to cafes and restaurants as well as access Kings Park - what a bonus. We'll book the hotel again if we can get in that is. A replacement shower head will make our stay excellent.

This place surprised me, was so well located, the pool was amazing I had a long swim after work day and I ran into City and Jacobs ladder. The rooms had new carpet and the lady on reception was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my stay and though rooms are basic I'd stay again!

Great Location - facing onto kings park, beside the trendiest suburb in Perth - Subiaco - full of decent pubs and restaurants.

Had bookings for my wife's funeral, had booked 4 rooms with mulitable nights accommodation. The manager Ross was rude to start with and became Ryder with every phone call because we needed to change some nights,as you would expect with people coming from Darwin,Bunbury. Because we made changes he charged us up front, which was ok but when we added the total up he charged us $ 150 extra. We rang him he said because we made so many changes he was keeping it in case we made any more. We asked him for it back he wouldn't. We had argument over phone, he threaten to cancell the whole lot. I explained again about my wife mums funeral he said if everyone said that how would I make any money. I then cancelled the whole 4 rooms I think in total. 11nights. He hung up on me. Do not deal with these people. Management and Professional behaviour non existent.

Clean and well kept. Comfy and quiet. A nice pool. Staff were very nice and helpful There is a bus stop right in front of the motel. The CAT buses are free, and it takes you to the CBD in 10 minutes. The motel is right across the road from King's Park.

Booked a Standard Queen Room through booking.com decided to go day earlier rang motel was told two separate payments on arrival and can Upgrade the room so we don't have to move rooms the next day. From a spacious standard queen room to a small twin room with a toilet suitable for a child not adults. Very noisy wall's like one brick not double brick as neighbours disrespect others after midnight with giggles to crying domestic.
Our booking.com was cancelled by a staff member without our permission and money taken from our account straight into the motel account.

Perfect location. Free cat bus right outside taking you to the city and hospitals. Room was excellent. Super comfy beds and lovely linen. Shower pressure is amazing. Double glazing means no traffic noise. Beautiful Kings Park walks at your door step. The microwave & toaster are an added bonus. Very friendly efficient reception staff who were very accommodating of my parking request. The rooms and hotel grounds are immaculate. Definitely staying again. Thank you Kings Park Motel 🤗

Great country style, Affordable, comfortable and in a great location,
I’ll stay again.
I’ve stayed before, but they’ve just rebuilt the pool/lounge area which was really lovely.
My room was an upgraded room, which was worth the little extra $ and felt hotel quality.
The free city cat bus nearby was useful to get to city and leave car.
Thanks to the lovely lady at reception.
If you are expecting 5* hotel, this is not for you, but it’s the best motel style accommodation around.

Friendly staff. Good room. We stayed here for one week. Very convenient for Kings Park and Central Perth. Bus stop for free bus (purple CAT) just outside. Room overlooking pool. Some rooms might get road noise, ours didn't. Shops within walking distance.

The King's Park Motel is located just outside the city of Perth in Subiaco, and is directly across from beautiful King's Park. It's a great location for those wanting easy access to the city, the University of WA, shopping in Subiaco, and events in the park. It's fairly easy to catch public transport from here to beaches and Fremantle as well.
Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and neat. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. A large number of their guests are farmers who come to Perth for the weekend. Which means that weekends and holidays book out early.
We have stayed there several times with our two infants. The motel has two stories, so access to upstairs rooms are via a steep staricase, which isn't so easy with children.
On average we have paid A$120/night, but that price has varied. Parking at the property is good. There is a pool, but we haven't used it. There are good laundry facilities with an iron, etc.
Overall, we enjoy staying here because it is so central to things we want to do in the suburbs of Perth.
