I just arrived from my trip to Pesquero! I can't wait to go back! The people there were absolutely incredible! Anatoli was my favorite bartender. The Entertainment team was very entertaining. The maids kept my room very clean. Thanks to all the staff at Playa Pesquero, especially Elia Elena for her kindness and help. Overall, a great vacation and my new Cuban family! I hope to come back soon!

We returned once again to our favorite place, the staff is always the greatest. Friendly and we feel spoiled. Our maid Pula is by far the best if the best and is our friend...warm, loving, helpful and her amazing smile and laugh is what brings sunshine to us..

This is our 11th time to beautiful PP, and we have never seen a resort so full as this time. Two thousand guests is a lot of people to serve, but all staff give it their best. There were sometimes shortages of basic supplies like clean towels, toilet paper, or running water, but there was always plenty of food and drinks and staff smiling everywhere. Perhaps having fewer guests (not to the maximum) would put less pressure on workers and not have a shortage of basic stuff. Also, drinking water in the restaurants was filtered and had a funky taste. The beautiful PP beach and crystal clear water were always there; however, it was hard to find beach chairs. We are not early risers, so we could only get chairs after 3 p.m. Thank you to all staff for their hard work and for making our vacation memorable as always. The entertainer's groups work tirelessly to provide plenty of daily activity and evening entertainment. Special thanks to Marite for making the best morning coffee and friendly chat, Leonel, Alexei, Eduardo and Dainel at the lobby bar, David in the disco/cigar bar for making my special drinks with a smile, and Leander for finding the best accommodations for us.

My wife and I visited the Premium side in December. It was nothing but amazing. Amazing rooms with outdoor showers and great air conditioning. Our own personal a la carte that you can walk in at any time. Lobster every night and our own Personal Butlers. Big shout out to Edgar, Osmani, and Hugo who are nothing but amazing and will bend over backwards to make all geusts happy. Nadir, Dios, and Sergio who run the beach and lobby bar will never let your cup go empty. They run non stop! Andia at the front desk always smiling and happy to help with anything you may need. All the staff were ready and eager to help with any requests we had. And last but not least, A very special thank you to the Manager Zahimy. She greeted us upon our arrival and was there to say goodbye upon departure. Anytime she saw us she made sure everything was good. She always had on a smile and always said hello when passing by. I found this exceptional as most resorts we have visited, we never see management, and when we did they were never as pleasant as Zahimy. Thank you again Zahimy for a wonderful visit and experience. We will see you on the amazing Premium side again soon!

Playa Pesquero is an excellent resort with many services. Very friendly staff. Anyer has been wonderful with his advice and services for the Spa! Beaches are beautiful, coral reef not too far out for snorkeling and the free standup boards, kayaks and catamaran! Wonderful vacation.

We had the pleasure of visiting PP again this year. We are frequent visitors, and have made many friends over the years. Sunwing was a nightmare, but PP is our happy place. It is the people that keep us coming back. Our breakfast people; Francisco, Kenya, Raisa provided smile, hugs and plenty off coffee. Our lunch providers, Enelvis, Yonni, Yanetsis, and Mabel(who makes the best mojitos) always had smiles and a warm welcome. Madelin was our special girl at the beach bar keeping us hydrated. The weather at the beginning of the holiday was windy, providing a spectacle of crashing waves which was awe inspiring. We went to several a la carte restaurants. Our fav was the gondola. As you see in other reviews it is hit and miss with several food and drinks items, however we always found pasta, soups, tomatoes, cheese … so alway had enough. Take loonies and twoonies for tipping, and pristine bills for trading (the bank will only accept unblemished bills when cashing in at the banks) with the workers. Thanks to Tanya for making our holiday memorable 💕

We are again on the Premium side. Although there is shortage on lots of stuff. We always manage to eat well, sleep well. The staff are as always , welcomming and are looking to please you the best way they can. Beaches are stunning. For those of you woundering about the food, let me tell you that you wont die of hunger. I have plenty of allergies and i seriously doubt i lost weight 😉 Drinks are here too. It would be easy to complain but by looking on the bright side you will have the time of your life. Thank you Zahini, Andia, all of the Osmany's working here. Aidily, Yanet, Anabelle, Ivelis Béatrix, Hugo and all the others. Because of you our vacation was a succes. Luv you guys 🥰😍

Where to start in this review....well it was the first time we have travelled as a family - 2 adults and 4 girls aged from 8-15. Being a group of 6 can make things difficult as there are not many places that can house 6 people and still be affordable. So our experience first started by contacting a wonderful lady at the resort Yadira Perez who l learned about through a Facebook group that could help my family out. I reached out to her to see if there was any way we could stay in building 10 or 11 where one they have connecting rooms and two they are close to both the pool and the beach. This resort is very large and with 4 kids we wanted to be close to our room when at the pool or the beach. Yadira told me that she would do what she could to accommodate my request. The tough part was that the week we were there the resort was full as well as the following week. SO leading up to our arrival we were a little anxious to see if she was able to work her magic.....AND...she did!! She managed to get us in building 11 with connecting rooms so we could all be together. This was a very big positive for our family. We arrived at the resort at 11pm so all we could see when we first arrived was the large, clean and well kept lobby where people were roaming around experiencing all the lobby had to offer. SO in the morning is when we were really able to see the resort first hand and we loved it. Walk out our building and immediately greeted by the groundskeepers working hard to keep everything manicured and clean. Our first stop had to be the pool which was a big selling feature of this resort and the photos didn't do it justice...this pool is huge and the kids loved exploring it from one end to the other. The beach.....well its Cuba and one of the big reasons I love going to Cuba is the beautiful beaches of clear water. This beach is large with plenty of room for everyone. The snorkeling right of the beach is great both by the rocky edge close to the adults only section as well as swimming out into the deeper water from shore. Plenty of sea live to be seen. You can also take one of the peddle boats and use them to get you out to the deeper water to snorkel but we found it to be an easy swim. There was a downside to the beach experience and it had to do with the resort being full.....I would have to go out to the beach at 6:15-6:30am to get loungers for us all and at times it was difficult at that time in the morning. There were a lot of early risers. The pool gets nice and full in the afternoon on the side where the swim up bar is and the entertainment crew sets up which I am a people person so enjoyed every minute, but if you want something more quiet you just had to go to the pool on the other side of the bridge. Maikel at the swim up bar always greeted us adults and the kids with a firm handshake and a smile and always asked how things were going. He has worked there for 21 years. Now the food. We knew when booking that Cuba was struggling with shortages a lot of people complain on here about it but we were prepared and I will tell you none of us starved or went hungry. Sure there were 2 days we had liquid eggs or no bacon but there was always something to eat at the buffet. Our favorite place for breakfast was the "Pipa" (beer garden) and lunch was the 2 restaurants next to it that also are a la cartes at night. If we at the resort had shortages imagine the what the locals go through. All in all we had amazing 30deg weather all week, the kids had fun and so did the adults. Will definitely be returning to this resort!

Have been going for 22 years. The Cuban people are wonderful, and do their best with what they have. So sad to see the decline in the basics at this hotel, not only for guests but for the Cuban people. Survived on bread, cheese and tuna. Bring your basics, tissue and hand soap. Landed home with Covid.
