The Landings is a beautiful property with spacious rooms but I would be remiss if I didn’t start the review with a compliment to the wonderful staff and service they provided for our group of 12. The staff at the Landings are exceptional! From planning the reservation with Gertrude, the care and attentiveness she provided are commendable. She ensured we knew the travel requirements and COVID protocols. Iyanna’s attention to detail was much appreciated and key to making the stay unforgettable ( I see why your face is on the welcome poster 😀) . Gregg helped us with getting situated in our rooms and he was very knowledgeable. The concierge staff of Lew, Che and Joslyn made sure we didn’t miss a beat and helped with reservations for a birthday brunch and our excursions. Food: Chef Yolanda and her team did an excellent job with the food and the private beach dinner we arranged. All the staff were great, Julie, Elizabeth and Shannella ensured evening was perfect and well suited for our group each day we dined at the Beach Club. COVID Safety measures: The hotel and staff are very diligent in adherence to mask wearing and sanitizing. Everyone in our group was vaccinated so we didn’t have to quarantine, testing to return to the US was a breeze. Nurse Dolly booked our test the night we checked in and on the actual day was testing she was great and accommodating. We got our results back within hours. I would return to the Landings and recommend it to others. We had a great time!

We booked this at quite short notice so didn’t really give it a lot of thought but went with travel agents advice. Although we did change resort about a week beforehand as the first one was getting terrible reviews. Never been to St Lucia before so our first shock was the 2 hour transfer time from the airport. This turned out to be a great introduction to the island however. On arrival at The Landings (after strict Covid protocols) we were shown to a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment - there were just the 2 of us! I guess since it’s still so quiet they are happy to upgrade. Fully equipped kitchen which we didn’t use and washer and dryer too. Room serviced everyday was a bonus. The staff are what makes this place. Everyone was so friendly helpful and enthusiastic- nothing was too much trouble. Kirshima - one of the chefs get a special mention for her attention to detail, she took such good care with my husband’s dietary needs. But they are all amazing. The beach is perfect. The sea is amazing. There are water sports, tennis, gym, yoga and pilates if you like and there’s a fab spa. They’ll organise trips for you too. If you want loud entertainment don’t bother but if you want calm relaxation and chill out time then you would have to go a long way to beat this.

I have a somewhat mixed review of the landings. Positives first. The place is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. It was very quiet and not a party atmosphere which was exactly what we wanted. Very safe with Covid protocols. Pools and public spaces very clean. Negatives. We purchased a Travelzoo voucher to go and we’re told we’d get a marina view. We were on the 1st floor and had no view, it was blocked with bushes. We were offered a better room but would of had to pay almost 500/night more. No thanks. Also when we got there, we were kind of dropped off at our room and didn’t get very much information or a tour. Took us a little while to get our bearings. While here there are very view options in regards to eating or drinking. Only 1 restaurant open a night and it was usually a buffet and it was 60 dollars a person. We did not do the all inclusive option. Also drinks were extremely expensive too. No bars open passed 9, and maybe 1 waiter on the beach a day. One day we ordered room service and for 6 tiny wings, a personal pizza and 2 cokes was 73 dollars. We made that mistake once. We are off property the rest of the trip and got our drinks from the grocery store. All in all it was a beautiful place. I guess I thought we would of gotten a little better service at this price point. But maybe because we got it at a deal on a Travelzoo voucher, that it why we got the crappy view and not as great service

Beautiful resort. The apartments are amazingly appointed and spacious. Lovely beach. Quiet resort to enjoy a relaxing family break. It works on island time so don’t expect anything to be done in a hurry but this adds to the holiday, just relax and go with the flow !

Beautiful property with the best suites We have stayed in. Spotlessly clean. No bugs other than mosquitos. Good beach with great selection of water sports.staff amazing. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment marina view. No where is far away to walk. Top tip is go all inclusive as food is pricey otherwise. It’s not ultra all inc but most things are covered Calaloo beach bar for lunch perfect. Palms restaurant at dinner , food good but sit outside as otherwise no atmosphere. Buffet at beach restaurant pretty good as far as buffets go. Entertainment pretty light and bar area small with few seats possibly due to Covid. Water sports good and even motorised ones are reasonably priced at 10USD pp for a go on banana boat and sofa etc. Very good on Covid measures. Be warned kids under 18 with one vaccine dose from uk need to quarantine until results back from pcr test but during that time you can order room service and are not charged for it (if all inc). Our results were back in about 16 hours so no problem. I had a couple of good massages at spa and all the staff throughout were great. Overall great for people who like good standard of accommodation looking for a beach holiday. Beach is great for adults and kids alike. Don’t come here for evening entertainment. Bring a pack of cards
