First it is not white sand, so if you have been to Subic it’s not even that let alone a Boracay or Panglao. I was there this from 29th Dec-Jan 1. I wanted to see for myself if the North finally got a hotel-resort to boast of, sadly I was disappointed because:
1. Not white sand, so if you’re paying 2k/night for a hotel that has no attraction whatsoever it’s not worth it. It does have water sports activities. The water though isn’t that appealing because it is not clear and there were floating white plastic bottles which nobody minded at all. I wonder why it never occurred to the sweeping/cleaning crew in the morning to collect and dispose them. They raked/swept the shore in the morning, as I saw from my balcony. There were no trash bins near beach beds and tents along the shore so people with candy/mint wrappers can properly dispose of them. They don’t have beach umbrellas that goes with the beach bed, just tents - gazebo tents to be exact.

2. The basic amenities like the toilet flush do not work, at least in my room. I checked in at around 3PM and called their attention to it. I did not get anybody to fix it until past 6PM. I dozed off waiting and I had to call them so somebody would come and fix it. Housekeeping came to fix it, it worked 2x then after that it’s not work again so it’s not really fixed. I had to call them every morning until the day I checked out on the 1st. The way I see it they gave a guest a room with faulty toilet. What disappoints me is that I paid for the accommodation, which includes a bed and a bath; supposedly, both can be used without an inconvenience. The bedding is fine.

3. The towel smells funny and stained. I discovered they were laundered somewhere below my room (N210) and hung out in the open to dry along with other laundries, including the bathroom rug. The rugs were laundered but a floor rug is a floor rug why do they expect us to use the bath towel to wipe ourselves knowing it was hung out to dry with a floor rug.

4. The food isn’t that good, it was holidays so they ONLY served buffet (lunch/dinner at Php549 & snack at Php249). What makes them think everyone wants to eat to coma? They don't even serve sand which. I asked the attendant what else is available, she said "we only serve buffet". She did not suggest that I could try the snack buffet that will be served at 3-5:30PM where lighter meals are available. I only found out about this option when I went out at 3PM to read a book on the tables near the restaurant. No suggestions to a hungry guest at all, it’s like either pay up Php549 or starve.

By the way this was my first visit, so imagine the letdown. I hope this review will bring an improvement so the North will finally catch up and attract more tourists in the area.

I was really impressed with their staff, very polite and hospitable. Customer service is A okay. Facilities, i can rate it as good, the pool was quite small but why mind the pool when the beach is just so amazing with its calm waters and white sand. They have a billiard area as well. Water activities are there though the prices are not reasonable (at least for me). Rooms? Are comfortable, neat i would suggest the south wing for the best view. Beach, sunset and the santorini inspired vitalis villas. Foods in the resto are ok, pizzas were great youd love eating there though with the amazing view. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, the view is so amazing, specially at sunset, so serene. Kudos to the whole crew.

I never knew such a beautiful resort existed in Ilocos. It is just that there are still a lot of constructions to be made. Perhaps those who went here before 2015 did not try going to the villas (Santorini look-a-like structures) which also had an infinity pool. Food is average, though.

I am currently staying here and booked two deluxe ocean view rooms. The rooms given to us looks like the deluxe north wing instead of the deluxe ocean view (see pics below). I raised this concern to the receptionist and told me that our rooms still have an ocean view but those are not the rooms I paid for and convinced me to book and!!!! The deluxe ocean view room looks inviting on their website but that is not what I got, no sliding door at all!! I felt swindled by this hotel (pics of the room and it's facade included)

Bad reviews for the restaurant. We waited for 1 hour and 3 mins for our lunch to arrive. And most of their menu items are not even available. If you're travelling to a far place, I don't recommend visiting here for a short snack or lunchbreak. It's not evwn worth the wait.

Good for family staycation.
Customer service go beyond expectations esp the night shift during our stay.
Have lots of water activities.
Value of money exceeded the cost of stay.
It also has the romantic ambience as well for couples.

Nice place to relax and great front desk staff. There staff that little not too friendly, though. But overall the place is great and we will be back soon. Affordable and fun beach activity. Breakfast by the sea, and it is buffet.

On December 29, 2015, we stayed for one night in the family suite. Since it cost approximately USD233 for a group of 5 persons we expected at least 4-star service. Sadly the outcome was way below expectations. 1) The room was worn down; 2) The bathroom was small and uncomfortable; 3) The shower was not working properly and the faucet came off the wall; 4) No remote control for the TV and no hair dryer in the room; 5) At 5 p.m. we requested for shower and faucet to be fixed but no service arrived even after one follow up. Finally at 9 p.m. my wife personally went down to the front desk and learned that no housekeeping staff were available. A FIRST CLASS RESORT WITH NO HOUSEKEEPING STAFF AT 5 P.M.???? 6) The beach is OK but the pool is small. 7) Food at breakfast buffet was cold, choices limited, and refill service was slow. Not worth the money at all. We suggest you go elsewhere.

Stayed here for day pass only (did not get a room). Day Pass includes buffet lunch only. Had to pay for the tent infront of the beach for us to leave our things while enjoying the beach.

Anyway, buffet lunch is very disappointing when we get there. Almost all the food are gone esp the main course. Had to "fight" with another hungry customer for the last chicken. The manager looks angry when I approached him to ask when will they refill the food because we were waiting for almost 30mins already and more people are coming in to eat. That's very unprofessional. They should refill the food before they were even gone esp since their asking price is on the expensive side.
Food is so-so and they do not label their food correctly. Not worth the price.

They only had 1 toilet each for ladies and gent. One. Had to wait in line before you get to use the toilet. There is another separate shower near this toilet beside the pool but it's open so you really can't change your clothes in there.
Some of our family members had to go out and pay for the public toilet outside Vitalis just to shower and change because we really had no time to wait in the long line just to use their toilet.

If you're not going to book a room, it is better to just rent a table in the adjustcent nook beside Vitalis. They are in the same beach. You're basically in the same place. It is way cheaper and they offer more toilet and shower rooms.

We arrived earlier before our check in time..we leave our things and rush to the restaurant to have our lunch as everybody are very hungry..but we are really disappointed on what we have paid for...the FOOD was terrible..during our breakfast the next day...The Bread was really hard, toaster;s broken, food was cold and the breakfast was served an hour and half late..though overall the staffs are friendly...I would rather say that it was more on POOR MANAGEMENT
