Had a 10 day stay here. We used the facilities and the restaurant. We were impressed with the staff and their willingness to assist in anyway possible. We ate at the Sola restaurant multiple times. The food came out hot and quickly even when there was a bit of a crowd. Happy with the food quality, food service, cleanliness and the bar staff (simon) which was very good. Unfortunately the main restaurant was closed due to lack of numbers

Ruined our honeymoon in November. We arrived to find reception was closed and we were directed to a shabby reception area by rude staff. Half resort was closed. Only food available was take away (which we had to order on our phone) and it was terrible food. Pool was only available to use at certain times. Our room (the most expensive-the over water) was dirty, bird poo everywhere and stunk. The shower drain was clogged and leaked onto the carpet. We were locked out of our room. Spa package was included when the spa wasn't open. A high tea was to be included- we were delivered what looked like 3 day old leftovers of a conference- nothing like advertised. Terrible communication on all parts. I left in tears. So disappointed. We have stayed here multiple times over the years as a couple, for work and as a family and we have always been happy hence choosing Novotel for our honeymoon. We struggled finding time off work as well as someone to watch our 3 young kids so we completely wasted our time here. Months later we still have not received an apology or even an acceptance from Novotel Twin Waters. Nothing.

Good Morning jessicarG3206XE, Thank you for your belated feedback regarding your stay through the very challenging COVD Period in October 2020. Please be assured all of our guests are important to us and my sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations during this period. I note that your feedback relates to the period when the resort was playing host to a number of national sporting teams in a COVID Hub that continued to evolve in the lead up to your stay, whilst forward planning and advice to our guests was done as soon as any changes were made in regards to these Covid compliances, the changing dynamics and requirements of these compliances were happening daily , I note that the team advised you of the changing activities and availability at the resort prior to your arrival which you communicated back with us, again my sincere apologies for this short lead time. I note both the resort team and yourself responded on several occasions where we did not meet your expectations following your stay and that compensation was forthcoming through the third party operator that you booked through and the resort, recognition of apology from the resort was also communicated on numerous occasions through correspondance , my apologies of this communication did not meet your expectations. I note that you have emailed us in April this year looking to stay again and have requested rates which the resort team has responded to and are awaiting your thoughts on the dates that are available around your request. I have reviewed this last communication from you and have asked the team to respond back again to ensure that we are able to welcome you back again to our newly refreshed overwater bungalows. Again jessicarG3206XE, I am confident that the resort team has been available and responded accordingly to your disappointment however am aware that your special Honeymoon stay was impacted during a challenging time for all, again the resort team will be in touch again to follow up with you on your request for another stay. We look forward to welcoming you back . Kind regards Warwick Kahl General Manager

This resort exceeded my expectations from the moment I drove onto the property. Friendly staff and a beautiful resort. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the restaurant costs so much!!

Stayed in hotel room and yes needs upgrading. The gym was closed which wasn't advertised prior to booking only found out on the internal hotel what's on guide on hotel tv room. Reception area nice and the grounds are well maintained. A very uncomfortable bed, woke with a very sore back during our stay. Good room location, looks over lake and beach area. Didn't eat at hotel as a bit too expensive plus lots of great local places to support. Hotel room facilities, we had a fold out bed for children and oh boy what a thin mattress and in general old couch. Hotel provides children activities including wet weather options and there is a small playground bit it was locked and shut which is a tad annoying when you have small children who want to use it. There is mini golf outside near reception but it was only around 8 holes and nothing fancy just holes on a flat grassy area. Lots of Birdlife and kangaroos which is lovely to see. Room has tea and coffee making facilities but only 1 teaspoon but two mugs? Little bar fridge which is good as we stocked up at the Coles nearby. Bathroom was a bit outdated and unsure when this Room was used last.
