We were looking for a quick fix to satisfy our need to be with nature so we went on about three hour drive to this resort. Read blogs and reviews about the place and surroundings. I think it is the best place to stay in Real especially if you want a very clean place, very tasty meals and great service. It is worth the drive ..the sandin the camp area is sandy and perfect for swimming and surfing for beginners.

There are waterfalls and river to explore. And the area is very scenic

Note: no data signal there and hardly any signal for globe users. Smart users get lucky sometimes though

We will definitely come back together with some friends.

We arranged to have our own picnic lunch here and the hosts were very welcoming - we had a local contact. After lunch, we crossed the road and swam in the Pacific Ocean - it was a short walk and the beach is great. Water was warm and hardly any waves.

Looking for an affordable, stress free environment with nice beach and accommodating staffs? Fret no more cause Reál Coast and Surf offers all of the above. Aside from those, they also have movie night, (FOR FREE) where guests can choose their preferred movie. (We chose Mama Mia). It was one of the best movie night I ever had, imagine watching the movie with you’re back lying on a very comfortable bean bags with snacks and drinks on hand after a long day of swimming, surfing, or simply beach bumming was just perfect to cap the night. But wait there’s more, after the movie, the staffs set up bonfire and there we finished our drinks happily. We dozed off on our cabana, the small one. Their cabana has an artsy cute painted walls. Perfect for your IG feed. The only thing I didn’t like much is the pricey food HAHAHAHA. You can go for a walk outside of the resort and check the nearby stores. (For cheaper food prices) And also you can bring beverages and liquor only those that are in can cause they have corkage fee for bottled drinks. It was relaxing being here. Truly a sweet escape from reality.

The place was very instagrammable. The beach and the waves was very amazing but would not recommend this resort and hotel to friends and family traveling with babies and seniors.

We checked-in at their hotel which was 200m away in the surf camp and beach area. It was such a hassle going back and forth the hotel and the surf camp with a baby and with senior citizens! Even if you stay in the surf camp, you have to park your car in the hotel. Also, all their staff were not accommodating at all! Upon arrival, they were very strict with the number of guests and the food we bring. We booked a family room for 7 (which btw, if you book online is around 24k pesos. Really?? Is this a 5-star hotel??!! Good thing we didn’t book in advance, as we are the only guests during those days), but they only prepared the beddings for 6 persons, gave us only 6 bracelets (serves as an entrance to the surf camp) and the staff is insisted to prepared only 6 plated meals for breakfast which should be for 7 pax.

Despite its high rate, there is not enough basic water and toiletries provided. The hotel was not maintained properly. The drain in our toilet was clogged during our stay. The place is a deadspot/ no signal even wifi! We will definitely not come back here anymore!

1. The Real Surf (surfcamp) and Real Coast (hotel with pool) were at different locations. There is a resort in between. And this info was stated NOWHERE.
2. There are 3 types of cabanas: cabana poolside which will cost you almost 4k for a DAY TRIP. Cabana where only hotel guests are allowed- this is the cabana we were expecting. And cabana at real surf. When we got there, that's the time we only knew that we are BOOKED at the surfcamp worth 2k plus 1200 for our entrance fees. Eventhough, on their IG posts, they'l tell you, when you booked a "cabana" you have access to the pool. You CAN'T have the chance to decide which cabana you're actually going to have.
3. The cabana at real surf, they will tell you that it is good for 4-6pax. But 1-2 people can only stay there. There is only 1 single foam. You have to pay more if you ask anything.
4. The IG account photos are SUPER HIGHLY ENHANCED. The beach is too crowded. They accept walk ins. There are jeeps parked outside which carried so much people. Imagine how crowded is CROWDED. Beach is way too much rocky, too many stones. Black sand.
5. And if you asked Lyn and Art, they will tell you that they don't have access to the internet. They dont know what their OWN FACEBOOK AND IG accounts were all about. In other words, "they dont actually know what they're talking about!!" They even admitted that we are not the only ones who got confused. So why stop there if they're already aware of it?! Is that just it?
6. Entrance fee is P350, P300 or P270. I dont know, maybe it depends on their mood? How inconsistent is that!
7. Policy by Art, by Lyn and the Hotel Policy that we received, were different. Again, they're inconsistent. You will all have different interpretations when you get there.

We were that confused and we asked, "how are we going to be compensated for this confusion?" NONE. NOTHING. NO WAY! We spent 2 hrs just for them to clarify everything. Even if we decided to settle there, we asked, if atleast entrance fees may be waived. But accdg to them, the OWNER told them (over the phone) that, THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE!! Eventhough they told us from the start that they dont have phone signal or internet.

There's so much room for changes, improvement perhaps and proper awareness. People are paying their money not for very poor service and bad advertisement. I am writing this for everyone's awareness because YOU deserve to know what's really happening. And hopefully reviews reach the management!!

There were cockroaches roaming inside our glamping huts. I get it that it’s a semi open hut but it should be at least not infested by roaches. A regular pest control would do if possible.

Because of this, our accommodation became useless and we didn’t even slept on it. We just waited for sunrise and slept inside our car!!! All of our money just wasted! Worse part? Management wasn’t even apologetic for what had just happened. A staff just went there to spray some Baygon at midnight and left us as if nothing happened.

We also payed for the accommodation and still payed for the entrance fees per head which is odd.

No basic drinking water were also provided for guests despite the high rates there.

The parking offered is too far from the camp site, it is on another resort since they don’t have their own secured parking.

Management cannot control guests as well, many teenagers still drinking and being extremely loud after 12am.

I’m deeply dissatisfied.

Good thing the beach was amazing.

The best hotel you can find in real. The place is very relaxing. The food is great. We didn't expect the dinner and lunch to be buffet. Very clean and nice ambiance. We went here a day after the typhoon passes by. Their surf intructor is really nice to tell ua that it is dangerous to surf and refund our payment instead. At least we know they are not after the income but prefer the guests' saftety. 😊 There is no wifi and the mobile signal is weak.

As what the name suggests, this place is more apt for surfing and camping and not really for beach bathing. The waves are big! We stayed at the Surf Camp area which gave quite a good impression but also has its downsides. But then again I already knew what to expect (kind of) since I researched the place beforehand.

1 The Surf Camp is where the cabanas are located. The cabanas are only covered with curtains which you’d need to tie up to give yourself some privacy. We rented the one that’s good for 4-6 persons, and it comes with a ceiling fan, mosquito net, hammock, beach chair, picnic table, and two mattresses. For 4 guests, two small mattresses just won’t do. No pillows and not even one blanket was provided for! If you’d like to get another mattress or request for a pillow, then you’d have to rent them for a hundred pesos each. For 2000php small cabana price, I highly recommend to just bring your own tents and just pay for the pitching.

2 Their services/products are overpriced. They have this bar where they serve foods and drinks but be warned that you won’t find anything cheap. We had the Silog meals for lunch and nothing is below 150php. Their milkshakes, which to be honest have nothing very special in them, are for 100 to 150php. Their alcoholic drinks are twice the original price and they charge for corkage fee which is 50% of the price of the liquor. The only food we loved there was the burger (comes with freshly made fries) which we ordered for dinner. It’s 200php and in all fairness we thought it was worth the price! Really big, beefy patty. But then again, it’s highly suggested that guests bring their food to avoid costing your wallets too much. If not, there are mini stores just along the road a few steps away from Surf Camp which we only discovered the next day.

3 What we never expected was how the beach can get too crowded! We booked for an accommodation in advance knowing that at least we’ll have the beach to ourselves plus other Real Coast & Surf guests ONLY. We were wrong. It turns out that there are OTHER “resorts” neighboring Real Coast that also accept guests, but all vacationers use the part of the beach in front of Real Coast & Surf! Because that’s the only "swimmable" part of the beach! Maybe the only difference is that us at Real Coast paid much higher compared to them.

While some things were unsatisfactory, they also have their plus points on the following:

We all love a clean comfort room and they have very well-maintained communal comfort rooms for male and female guests.
Their customer service staff are friendly and accommodating; they smile at people and know very well what they’re doing.
In the evening, they have film showing at that little bar area where beanbags and beach chairs are available. The lights are turned off to give that theatre-y feeling while at the beach. I thought that was really cool.

I am not fun of sleeping in an open cottage or without a proper bedroom whenever we have an out of town with friends or family. I was surprised that Real Coast has a secured and well maintained place, we have a happy and we enjoy bonding with each other. The beach has a big waves which really nice place to do exercise your surfing ability. The comfort rooms or shower rooms are also clean.

Be reminded that the open cabanas are a few steps away from hotel. We where advice to parked our vehicles at the hotel for safety purposes.

There are corkage for alcoholic drinks but exempt those bottles that the resort is not selling.

Free bringing of foods and free bonfire (if the wind permits 🤣), meaning of the wind don't blow strong that might burn the huts/cabanas.

Please be careful when driving, the winding roads travel took us almost 1 and a half hour from TayTay. But this is worth-it

First time to go to Real, Quezon and the long (plus slightly nauseous) drive was worth it when we arrived in Real Coast and Surf. The staff were presentable, kind and competent. The landscaping of the place was really nice. The air-conditioned rooms were equally beautiful. They had cable tv and super comfortable, clean beds but we still enjoyed walking around the place, lounging around and enjoying the breeze. Their meals were so filling. Signal/Wifi really is patchy and available in certain areas only but you would only want to have connection just to post photos because the place is so lovely. Kudos to the management and staff!!
