Only spent a night after a late flight into Adelaide. Would have liked more time to explore the area around the park and along the river. Our cabin was very nice. The room was a good size with a good bathroom. Mini fridge, kettle and toaster made it easy to have a self-made breakfast. On site car parking is available but not immediately outside the cabin. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants and petrol stations are a short drive away. Staff were friendly and helpful for our late arrival

Very well managed pet friendly park, with well presented sites in the top area. Well manicured, gardens and very clean facilities, although somewhat aged management were very helpful with information and assistance to those in need. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Adelaide.

Thanks for the review! We're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We very much appreciate the recognition that while the facilities are somewhat aged, the Park has been very well maintained and has a great team manning it. Windsor Gardens Caravan Park has been around since the 70's and we're continually making improvements, small and big, so it's nice to hear that our guests notice it.

Cabin 13. Well, mixed review here. Cabin was spacious and clean. The free standing table for the 3x days spent there was sticky. Cups and phones, etc would stick to the wooden surface. Wiped over and still sticky. Full sized fridge, hotplate, exhaust hood, microwave all good. Shower cubicle was small and we hated it. Shower water temperature was varied from scalding hot to cold. One interior light switch arced a lot when turning it on. No such front balconey to place a chair on it. Air con was so intermittent. Worked then stopped, worked again and stopped. Had to mess with remote many times to get a constant operation. Both beds were so/so. Front sliding door was a hassale to lock at times. Car parking area was large and good. Laundry was only open from 9am to 4.30pm, annoying short term operation. Good number of powerpoints. Cutlery and crockery numbers good. Blinds on all windows worked well. Quiet location, except for walkers/runners/cyclists along the Torrens pathway at rear of caravan park were talking at times really loud. Must be hard of hearing. We were there for AFL gather round so proximatey to Adelaide Oval was a big plus as was the price of AUD$410 for 3x nights. Would we stay again, YES, positives outwayed the negatives.

Excellent park with friendly staff. Well kept grounds & clean amenities. Close to shops, transport, CBD, Adelaide Hills. The only drawback is with a centre site, the manoeuvre room is tight & very little shade, which we've got both times we've stayed there.

Thanks for the review, Helen. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that you're a return guest. Next visit, make sure to give us a call when booking so we can see about getting you an edge site. As a metro park, built way back when, we are a smaller Park so larger caravan owners are encouraged to call when booking so we can try and ensure they get the right site for them.

This park has 2 sides to it. The area where you enter has lovely sites with concrete pads / gravel with surrounding green grass matching the photos on their website. Unfortunately we were placed on a site down the bottom of the park where the permanent residents were based. We had a large stone based site with all facilities. The residents in the area were fine, however some of the sites look like a steptoe and sons site with rubbish and “stuff” strewn everywhere. How the park owners allow the sites to reach this state is beyond comprehension. Based on the top section of the park they have pride in what they present to patrons, but not the other section down lower. The lesson to learn is insist on a grassy site in the top section of the park. The amenities are fine and clean.

It was quiet and pleasant. The bed mattress was a touch on the hard side, but some may prefer that. Pillows were good. The room was clean. Toilet clean and basic. Good heat and water pressure. Decent mini bar fridge. Only issue was the main light didn't work when it walked in had to get the bulb replaced. Otherwise it was comfortable and there was enough parking . The split system aircon heater was good but a little loud when the condenser kicked in.

Hello everyone thinking of staying at Winsor Gardens. Just wanted to say Trish maybe your first contact with the gardens. And what a lovely, kind and helpful lady Trish is over the Phone. On this occasion we could not be accommodated , as i left it a bit late to search for accommodation for my mum and our 2 little dogs. Trish recommended another Park close by and happily we have found accommodation. Both parks speak highly of each other and it great that businesses are working together and to the benefit of the clients and business and the Adelaide area. what a fabulous first impression. I will be recommending both. kindness always Deb

Stayed 10 days over Easter & School Holidays. Well laid out park with level sites wide enough for caravan, awning, car. It is under the flight path for Adelaide Airport but close to city, shops, parklands, public transport. We did have to wash bird poo off the caravan when we left, but that's what happens when parked under trees. The 1 amenities building has lots of toilets & showers with shower cubicle well laid out so items stay dry. I was disappointed that 1 of the 4 washing machines was out of order over this busy time. We'll be back.

We stayed here for 1 night in our caravan & 2 nights in a cabin (caravan was being repaired). The park has lovely & clean facilities, especially the amenities :-) The managers were so lovely and helpful. The grounds were immaculate. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thankyou for a great stay Windsor Gardens!
