We were looking for an overnight stay close to Blackpool so we could go see the illuminations. This hotel was perfect. Rooms were clean and airy. Very warm welcome and breakfast the next day was really good. Couldn’t really fault the service or value for money. If we came back we’d stay again.

Stayed 3 nights for a quick get-away from home, the upgraded room we wanted was occupied but the alternative we were given was just as nice. Each and every member of staff are polite/ helpful and give the impression they love what they do, unlike our last visit, you had to pay extra (£10 each) for breakfast and have 3 sizes to chose from, well worth it, lovely stocked bar, had a decent few drinks at the bar and an evening meal, only slight niggle was they could not tell us what was on the menu in the afternoon until we sat down? Had I have know what the evening menu was in advance we would most likely have eaten even more evening meals there. Great little hotel, love the area, easy access to the tram to Blackpool/ Fleetwood if you want it and only a short walk to the main shopping area. Looking forward to our next visit

Just back from a fantastic weekend away with friends. Would highly recommend Briardene. The staff were very helpful especially the guy who was there first thing in the morning until last thing at night, his service was first class. Good hearty breakfast each morning. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will be back soon.

Stayed here recently, main areas of hotel looked good, parking is also available. Some areas of hotel need an upgrade, lots of steep stairs when accessing your room. Room basic and very small, also felt like it was on a slope. The room was far too hot (with the window open) and I had a terrible sleep, only slept a few hours due to being too hot and noisy from traffic. Breakfast had a good selection but you had to pay for this as extra.
