The property is on the beach and the accommodation is unique and interesting, well-built, spacious, a good value, and comfortable with a fantastic outdoor space. The owner, Jerome, is very thoughtful, accommodating, and fun and his staff are wonderful. We were impressed with everything he did to may our stay enjoyable from arranging scooters, providing beer/rum/wine, transfers to the ferry and airport and even picking us up and dropping us off for dinner. Fantastic breakfast too!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Jerome, together with the rest of his staff, provided very personal service. Aside from the impeccable service, the resort itself was perfect! We loved the spacious villas with comfortable beds and many pillows! Our villa also had our own terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast (alternatively, you can have breakfast served at the garden area facing the beach). Inside the villa, there is a fridge with a varied selection of wines, which was a great touch. Another thoughtful touch was that there were biscuits and chips you can consume in case you get hungry in the middle of the night (you have to pay for the wine and biscuits you consume upon check-out of course, but at least you won’t worry about not being able to satisfy your midnight pangs). The location was excellent since it was very close to the airport and also very close to the pier that will take you to White Island. The dogs here are very friendly and well-trained — even when the dogs see breakfast is being served at the terrace, they don’t come close to the table while you’re eating. So even for people who are not too fond of dogs, TRUST ME, you will still enjoy your time here. For dog-lovers though, this is heaven! Overall, we had the most wonderful time here and I HIGHLY recommend this place because here at SomeWhere Else, you will feel like a valued guest.

We've been planning our trip to Camiguin for a year and Jerome helped us every step of the way. Due to circumstances beyond our control we can no longer visit the island. However, I'm writing this review to assure everyone who reads it that Jerome, the owner, will go above and beyond in his service and responsiveness - In short, he will do the utmost to assist his guests. Even after the cancellation of our booking, Jerome continued to offer us his help. We hope to see Camiguin one day and, when we do, this is where we'll stay! Our sincere thanks!

Camiguin is a wonderful beautiful island with so much to explore, and Somewhere Else Resort is the ideal base to discover all the island has to offer. What a wonderful resort. The villas are architecturally interesting, artfully designed and full of thoughtful amenities. Every comfort is offered, everything you need is there before you even realise you need it. The owner and staff are exceptional. Giving you all the help you need, from planning your site seeing, to driving you to and from your choice of restaurant for dinner to preparing your breakfast at your chosen time in your own private space But also providing you with complete privacy. You always feel like you have this magical paradise to yourself. And as beautiful as it is, it is also not at all pretentious. Everyone is down to earth and friendly, and happy to have a chat (I am sure we talked Jerome and Andrews ears off!) :)

Andrew one of the team at the resort provides a driving service if you are not confident driving yourself or just don't want to worry about it. Andrew is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and makes the whole day out fun and enjoyable, always smiling and friends with everyone on the island, he will take you to some great places you might not find on your own, mind your stuff while you snorkle, help you out when needed and is an absolute asset to this place.

Then there are the sweetest dogs who live there, that I fell in love with. Plus a lovely pool, a clean beach, flowers every where.

Staying at somewhere else you have this great luxury experience staying in a great villa but also feels like home, and feels like you are staying with friends. Highly recommend this place and hope to return some day.

Thanks so much to Jerome, Andrew and the team for giving us such a memorable holiday.

Had a great time in this resort, it was our first trip to Camiguin as a family and all I can say is the resort, staff, owner (even the 6 dogs) are all very thoughtful. All details were perfect from breakfast, pickup, renting the tuktuk, even having Jerome give us a suggestions in the morning on where to go was super helpful. The villas have great detail and love the artistic design, the pool was also perfect for us. We hope to comeback soon!

Amazing resort at Camiguin island, Jerome is super host. Beautiful resort with beautiful people/staff. They take care every single bits of your daily needs.

The rooms are big and beautifully designed, love it to every bit details they put. You dont need to buy water since they put the water dispenser at the room, coffee, tea at your choice for free. Super super love with their services.

We got 2 rooms since we are 6 in the family, we are dog lovers, so this an adding points for us. Jerome told us the story how he rescued the dogs, amazing guy with a golden heart.

Btw you can eat breakfast at anytime, they will prepare it once you are ready for it, unlike in other resorts, they have the limited time. This is an adding points if you are late riser. In our case, we need to go early since we have the sea activities, so we requested them to prepare it early and no huss at all.

What I love the most was, the privacy, only 3 villas, so if you need to unwind and just relax with your family and loved ones, this is the best place to be.

Looking forward for our next visit here. Keep it up Jerome 🤗

We are a family of 5 with 2 young kids. We had a wonderful time at Somewhere Else resort. Jerome was accommodating and helpful even before we got to the resort. He advised us on the requirements for travel to Camiguin.
We booked 1 villa for our family and it was comfy and well-stocked. The mattresses and pillows were clean and of great quality.
The highlights of our stay: the beach front—a short walk and youre on a beautiful black sand beach; the delicious breakfast, with the best hot chocolate we’ve had in a while; Jerome and his staff were extra helpful, they gave great advice on where to go and where to eat in Camiguin; and, the pretty flowers all over the property. The kids also loved meeting the owner’s dogs. We’ll definitely be back!

Travelled with family and with small kids. We loved the comfortable, unique, spacious and homey rooms. Loved the relaxing vibes and breakfast spread. Jerome, the owner, was easy to communicate with before and all throughout the stay. He also was there to assist us to make our vacation an unforgettable experience. We stayed at La Suaveridad, room for 4 people but comfortably fits an extra bed to accomodate my family of 5. If it fits your budget, its worth every peso.
