Dazzling whitewashed, cube-shaped buildings and cobbled paths set against the backdrop of a deep blue sea and sky, Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort has a superb beachfront location barely 3 miles from Mykonos town. Opposite is the sacred island of Delos, the birthplace of Apollo. Scattered across an extensive 5 acres to provide space and privacy, the 96 generously-sized rooms and suites are decorated in bright white with splashes of blue, some with private pools. Furniture and decorative lighting is elegant and streamlined, recalling mid-twentieth century styling. This restful enclave has a pampering spa which offers a variety of natural treatments based on traditional Greek techniques, a 500sqm swimming pool and a spectacular outdoor amphitheater for exercise classes. The hotel’s Nama Restaurant is roomy, allowing for the generous spacing of tables inside and extensive al fresco dining and offers, breath taking views across the Aegean Sea. There is also a Wine Cellar with a wide range of excellent Greek and international wines. Other resort’s facilities include tennis and a Technogym fitness center.

An overdue review as we visited in 2020 but had to leave a review for the most incredible stay we had for my husband's special birthday even in covid times. Covid safety protocols were meticulous, they upgraded us to an incredible room with a view of the sunset and a hammock on the balcony and offered us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, bookmark with night light attached and a lovely hat, both of which I still use. Beautiful big bath tub in the room. Luxurious spa. All the offerings and choice of a buffet breakfast but served to us a la cart at the time due to covid measures (may have changed back now, I'm not sure. ) Pool bar staff were always chatting and making us feel at home, freebies like mini ice cream cones by the beach and pool. Such warm, clear gorgeous water when we went (which was August). Short walk into Mykonos old town but there are steps so be aware of that if mobility issues. Spa is incredible as is the relaxation area you are taken to afterwards. If eating at the restaurant for dinner, I recommend booking a table at sunset time - a beautiful view as it sets over the pool. A really experienced member of staff who told us she had worked there for many years came round every morning to talk to all the guests at breakfast time to see if she could help book tours, restaurants etc and to check the stay was going well. What a lovely touch. Exemplary service. The hotel in peak season isn't cheap but it felt really worth the splurge and really is a place I would recommend if you want to go somewhere really special and when I can, I would love to return. Thank you so much to all the staff for such a wonderful stay.

Hotel's Favorite
Outstanding! In one word . In detail for your clients it’s all about the “ little comforts “ that matter and Mykonos Grand has mastered that . This is the kind of place where you don’t need to ask for refill on water they never let your glass get to empty . Check in I had a full personal tour/ full hotel information and all questions answered by Vicki. She made sure all my request were met ‘Just so ‘ prior to me entering my room. Hotel basics - wi-fi, extensive room amenities, saltwater pool , restaurant , plenty of lounge chairs ( the comfy good kind ) plenty of towels never a shortage . Umbrellas and cabanas for more shade outstanding pool and beach service Clean pool side bathrooms with showers ( this is a pet peeve for me ) so was so happy ! Food - Nama is their in house restaurant serving fine dining and extensive wine menu. The lobster ravioli is not to be missed . Breakfast is poolside and a la carte. Hash browns were my favorite. Build tour own Greek yogurt was wonderful and the fruit was very fresh . Nightlife- they have a few bars one you can opt for open air or indoors . Drinks are made as you like . If it’s not on a menu just ask . They have shuttle into Mykonos town! Starting at 7pm . Had so much fun going out on most nights . Landscape Hotel itself is big and has elevators huge plus for Mykonos. Spotless ! And beautiful flowers everywhere. Great pictures incredible views right on shoreline and beach views below . Staff Now this is their most important gem. The service is amazing . Nothing is too much of an ask . Despite how hot it is the servers are running up abs down stairs and get you everything you need as quickly as possible. Room - rooms are spacious and amenities are plenty inclusive of Loccitane toiletries beach hats , beach bags , slippers, robes, jump rope , iron/ board. USB outlets / adapter needed for others if coming from US . They do provide that in room if you forget . Mini bar ( charge) . However Water is complimentary and refilled per day. Special Mentions Although I would like to take a moment to thank all the staff there . I have a few special mentions : Vicki - thanks for everything Fioni/ George my breakfast team thank you Maria - Nama for dinner thank you for everything . Andreas- white bar thank you - great drinks Manager ( blue eyes/ salt & pepper hair - apologies as I didn’t get your name but thank you for your help and I see you have an eye out for everything. It’s appreciated Last but not least Yannis ( poolside server) sorry if I misspelled your name . Thanks for everything and making sure I had everything I needed . I can go on and on ! But simply put I’ll be back :)

We spent an amazing week at Mykonos Grand - and we were very sad to leave. The hotel itself is beautiful, set on a hillside with a great view of the sunset over the island of Delos. Our room, with a pool shared between 5-ish rooms, was enormous and had a terrace with sun loungers. We were lucky with the weather (visited in early October) as this pool was a bit chilly so we spent most of the time by the hotel pool which is enormous, and heated. The quality of the food surpassed our expectations. Breakfast is amazing, with so much choice, and dinner is equivalent to some 1* restaurants we have eaten in. And the bar made the most amazing cocktails to accompany fantastic views of the sunset. In retrospect I wish we had booked fewer restaurants in town and eaten in the hotel more (although the free hotel shuttle was very convenient). As others have said - it’s the staff that really made this hotel stand out. Everyone was so friendly and wanted you to have the best holiday. Especially the restaurant team - they work such long hours - but always had amazing energy - thank you for a great holiday!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Mykonos Grand. The staff was incredibly friendly and always happy to help. For them alone we are happy to recommend the hotel to anyone who thinks about travelling to Mykonos - and if we come back at some point, we would definitely stay here again. Our room had a great view of the ocean and we enjoyed quite a few breathtaking sunsets from the balcony - whenever we came back to the room it seemed to have been freshly made and cleaned up, the staff does a great job of staying in the background. On a side note: the bed was really comfy :-) We had booked half board and the food in the hotel restaurant was great all in all - portion size varies quite wildly and the menu could be a bit more creative when it comes to vegetarian options - those are quite limited. The beach area is great and from what we saw of the rest of the island uniquely private and spacious - we could not have been happier with ohr choice here.

Our first overseas holiday in 2 years and it’s not chance that we chose the Mykonos Grand. We have been to Mykonos Grand a dozen times or more and we are always greeted like old friends. We just couldn’t feel mor welcome. Thank you all for your efforts, we really appreciate it. See you next year. Rob and Mandy.
