Detailed Reviews
When I inquired about rooms, it took time for them to reply. However, when I called them they answered and I was able to book for only one day because they are fully booked. The staffs were friendly and accommodating. They are senior citizens and PWD-friendly. The room was good, clean, and comfortable. The food was great. However, I was surprised when they charged an additional 10% as their service charge/ surcharge for our food.

I visited Manuel Resort last Christmas and I really enjoyed my stay. The themed park is suitable for all ages, swimming pools and cartoon characters lined up the park. There is a restaurant, function hall, entertainment and bars.

+1
The Resort was gorgeous. We (Family) visited this place during Halloween and we were really amazed with the ambiance and cleanliness of the Resort. They have delicious food with amazing service, rooms were not that big but it was nice and have a good shower room with a front view of the beautiful pool. One thing that really caught my attention was their lobby, it was really very beautiful. They make different unique decoration each event such as Holloween, Christmas and so on and so forth. They have different kind of cartoon characters all over the place and the kids love it. Definitely we will visit this place again.

This review is for their hotel rooms:
1. There were 2 adults and 1 child in our room. P300 was the charge for the extra child in the room/night but they won't give us more than 2 towels in a 3 person room. The towels by the way were small and really thin. Suggestion: Give your guests all the towels they want, just charge them if they end up taking them.
2. No outlet inside the room. They have 2 outlets by the balcony. So you have to leave your phone outside your room to charge.
3. If you have family/friends that are not staying in the resort, they can't go to your room unless the pay an entrance fee. They had to follow my mother closely when she came to get something in our room since she's not a hotel guest. Suggestion: install a gate in your pool to control unauthorized people from using your pool.
4. Gym has a fee? I have never paid to use the gym of the hotel where I'm a guest. They won't tell you about the P150 charge until you're done using the gym. Suggestion: No charge to your paying guests. If you must, put a sign somewhere so they are aware.
5. More attention was devoted to the plants and flowers than to the rooms. I saw a lot of people gardening but not enough TLC was given to the rooms.
6. No brewed coffee. Instant only.
7. On the positive, the staff is very friendly.

I was at Manuel Resort twice last January. I facilitated two Seminars for Spirituality and Leadership at this venue two weeks apart from each other. Aside from lectures and discussions, the seminars required times of reflection and team-building activities. Manuel Resort is excellent for both cases. The resort has several theme gardens. Piñan is 21 km from Dipolog City and so, the resort is far from the noise and pollution of the city. We had activities at one of their pools, rode their kayaks and raft, and crossed the bamboo pole and tightrope over their small river. Internet connection was very good both in our rooms and in the main function hall. Food at their restaurant was also commendable. The staff was quick to respond to your needs. The room is clean and allows you to sleep undisturbed at night. Cable TV is also available. The toilet and bathroom, however, is relatively small. I am scheduled to go back and hold another seminar there later this month. I am looking forward to using their other attractions for our activities.

Great place for the kids, they have kiddie pools that the kids will love. a huge open space to run around too. Very impressed with the landscaping and design of the place. Food was average but price was great, big servings as well. They have family rooms that can fit 10 adults, 2 queen size beds and 3 bunk beds. The staff was very accommodating. Will recommend this place to friends without a doubt.

Room Tip: If you are to go to this resort, better land in the Dipolog Airport and not Ozamiz, quite far...

We stayed here for a few days and their service is wonderful. It is a nice place for families, especially with small children. There are multiple pools, just enough to maintain the privacy for in-house guests. There are also so many things to do to keep you occupied. My son loved it here.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights on a business trip. Place reminds me of Isdaan Floating Restaurant (Tarlac) but Manuel is way way better. Occupied room is equipped with TV, AC, bathroom with ample space, and relaxing bed. Resort offers free internet although, wifi does not reach our room.
Staff were friendly and efficient except those manning the reception desk (either disoriented or too tired). We arrived in the area around afternoon for our check-in. We were 3 in the group informing the reception of our reservation. After confirming our reservation, reception personnel proceeded to ask my companion if she has any reservations (wheeww). Either the reception personnel was too tired for the day or operating on an auto-pilot.
Resort has several facilities to keep you entertained. Swimming pools, billiards, table tennis, darts, table hockey, bar, and sculptures (proudly made by the resort). Place is less than hour drive from Dipolog City. Overall stay was good.

The resort is spacious. Upon entering, it's like being transported into a kids fantasy world where super heroes and cartoon characters come to life. Its a haven for kids. Lots of places for kids to play, take photos, swim.
For the adults, there is also an adult pool. Open cottages are mostly dotted along the pools. The price ranges depending on the size and cottage capacity but big groups shouldn't have any problem (we were a group of 10 - 6 adults, 2 teens and 2 children). Food is allowed so you can bring your food but you must pay corkage if bringing beverages, except water. There is a store inside the resort where you can buy beverages but the cost is high (the difference is almost the same as the corkage fee you pay when bringing your own drinks).
The whole place is great for a family or group outing. The place is well-maintained. There's a Victorian-themed garden. There are other activities as well other than swimming such as kayaking, getting a massage, etc. especially if you are staying for a day or two. Lots of opportunities for guests to take photos.
Service was good and staff was attentive and prompt.
Tip: Watch out for their offers and discounted rates on entrance fees. Regular entrance rate (for a day trip) is 250 pesos for adults but it can go to as low as 100 when on promo.

Kindly check in there web site. What I had seen were villas for 4 people.
