We stayed for 2 nights
Date of stay: March 6-8, 2020
Room: premium farida (premium deluxe)

The good:
1. We arrived on a Friday which makes the resort semi exclusive to us.
2. They have 5 jacuzzi, 4 of which is free to use, while the other one is placed in the SPA where you have to pay 1k to take a good view by the jacuzzi. By the way, the jacuzzi is heated, it compliments the cold wind.
3. They have live band in a saturday night starts at 7pm-10pm
4. Almost every cormer is "IG" worthy.
5. Plated breakfast served Saturday morning is delicious. All comes with fruit cup. Hot choco served saturday morning was delicious, however, the hot choco they served on the sunday buffet have a burnt taste to it. (I have different review for tue 2 breakfast we got)

The bad:
1. Extremely pricey food, unbelievable! I wouldn't mind paying that much if the food is taste great. We spend 2 lunch, dinner and breakfast. Pizza costs around 800+ still exclusive of tax.
Breakfast buffet served in Sunday morning have few choices (rice, tocino, caramelized bacon, corn dog, corned beef pancake, omelette station, fruits, cereals.

2. Service is very slow, during our first lunch our shakes/drinks arrived after we ate up everything on the table, also there where only 2 table that they are serving that time.

3. Poor monitoring of hotel items, upon check out they are asking me for 1 pool towel which they have replaced after they made-up our room. They could hve logged the items they replaced instead of looking for it from their guest.

4. Toiletries: they will only provide 1 setof shampoo, conditioner and lotion for the 3 adults, unlike other hotels/resort which they provide 1 set for each person.

5. Room is quite small, but the furnitures are pretty. Bed provided seems like twin size but per website it is 2 double bed (booked premium deluxe)

Reviewing the Soraya Restaurant only.
From Cabanatuan City it is still quite a drive, took us almost an hour to get there, I was curious on how the place looks like and we were also hungry. I called before our visit that you have to pay an incidental fee and it is consumable. Health protocols were followed; temperature check and contact tracing details, security personnel who welcomed us were polite.
Restaurant staff were warm and welcoming despite being busy because of two groups of guests having their lunch. Menu was handed to us, ordered our food and it took about thirty minutes for them to serve, which is fine by me. Menu has a wide variety, continental, South East Asian and Filipino cuisine are in the menu, presentation of food somewhat reminded of a place in Baler, the Chicken Satay is delicious with vinegar on the side for dipping, Vietnamese Spring rolls, sliced into smaller pieces, Pizza was thin crust, dough baked perfectly and dripping with cheese, Caesar Salad was whole Romaine Lettuce with Crispy Bacon. The only thing that I did not like was the french fries which was kinda burnt and hard, actually the french fries was the only item in our table that was left behind. Service was attentive and efficient. Restaurant ambience is excellent. Prices of food is steep, prepare your wallets, but I enjoyed the food and service, so no complaints.
The place is IG worthy, there's the beautiful Sierra Madre mountains and Pantabangan Lake, infinity pool and jacuzzi.

Spent two days at this resort. Upon arrival it was nice to have a great reception. When we arrived at the room the bathroom door would not close. A few hours later the four main doors would not lock. Hotel staff was quick to fix it. A few hours later the door would not unlock using the given key. Went out to your the property and have lunch . Getting ready for dinner and the shower only produced scalding hot water. Pretty dangerous considering I had my 8 yr granddaughter was about to shower. Took about a half hour to resolve that issue. Next day we woke up and the entire bathroom floor is filled with water. Seems as though the bathtub was leaking. Called front desk and it took another 30 mins to resolve. To sum it up for a place this expensive and billed as luxury they should have better service and make sure that the room is ready for patrons. Food was mediocre and on one occasion the server said I could not order a la carte breakfast, only buffet. I ask for manager and that alone was a battle as the server refused. I ask for a manager 20 mins later and was ignored. When we ordered food it took more than 30 mins before one of our meals arrived. At the end of meal I asked again and finally got the manager. Turns out I could have ordered a la carte and I must say manager was quite nice and truly understood how to resolve customer issues. If your looking a resort with great customer service, great food you may want to check carefully before you choose this one. I hope they took the feedback they ask me for and apply to future guests so they don’t have to experience what I did.

This place has the worst service and really bad food.
For the prices they charge I expected lot lot more. Unfortunately i was extremely disappointed. At PhP 23k (400US$) executive room a night published rates, you would expect better services. What I found was a dense development, impractical layouts what does not promote privacy, noisy with a lot of kids running around, a very mom and pop operation and really not worth the price.
The rooms have a really thin connecting door that is not sound tight, allowing you to hear what is going on in the next room.
To add insult to injury, they will check your bags because they don’t want people to bring in outside food and drink and they charge high corkage rates. I have never been to a hotel / resort in this price range that does this.
It took my friend 3 calls (over 24 hrs) to get a roll of toilet paper delivered.
Coming back from the lake, it started raining hard and the guard, with an umbrella, just looked at us getting soaked. I actually asked him if he had more umbrellas and he just said no and continued to shelter with his umbrella in his guard house. Idiot.
As it continues to rain, the stairs to my room was a waterfall making it dangerous and slippery . After the rain stopped, puddles remained in the steps. I expected the staff to come in and mop it up right away but it’s obvious they don’t care about the safety of the guests.
The executive suites has a corridor / terrace in front of the rooms. This allows passers-by to look into our bedrooms. Considering the view was the selling point, it was unfortunate that the public corridor blocked access to the view and prevented any semblance of privacy. Exclusive this resort this is not.
The food was mediocre if not down right awful.
In summary, I think if they are charging 5 star prices, we should at least receive 5 star service. I’m glad I saw it, the lake was nice, the room sizes large and excellent room amenities, but these good points are eclipsed by the bad guest services and I will never come back and I will not recommend this to my friends.

We booked the grand family villa for a 5day vacation as kids are always home we decided to let them unwind and take a breather. Unfortunately they accepted another booking for a family room without even asking who will stay just below our villa, a big compnay consisting of 1 big bus dipped into their jacuzzi at 2am to 4am making soooooooo much noise smoking drinking chanting laughing shouting considering that we are just above their room with kids sleeping who will have their online class by 7am. I believe that the family rooms should be accommodated by families only and not by barkadas.
They don’t allow any food inside so if kids prefer certain snacks or organic crispers be prepared to to pay the corkage not even a single banana is allowed! We are then hooked to their own restaurant where food aint good and price is high. Theres no umbrella in the room too so if it pours be ready to get soaked as they only have limited buggy ride and drivers.
Cockroaches are just everywhere in the room it is so disappointing to bring family there.

Was at this resort for a photoshoot. Ambiance and location was great but that was it. Rooms were terribly dirty. Food was terrible and expensive. One of the team members woke up with cockroaches on his bed. Staff wasn’t friendly at all and lazy to give us a buggy ride considering it was raining so bad on day 1. They told us to walk instead Under the heavy rain! What’s worst was this resort doesn’t even provide umbrellas for each room nor the resort have enough umbrellas for their guests. They dont allow outside food and snacks but kitchen closes at night till 7am. So we have to wake up around 4am calltime with no coffee or sandwiches. Management insisted us to eat the chips provided at the room minibar. Who on earth eats chips for breakfast? It usually takes 20-30mins for a buggy to arrive. If you requested for 2 buggy rides they will only send 1 insisting to make it work first before sending another one. Reception keep insisting on day 1 to place all luggages in 1 room first thus with the amount of people and room our team has all our stuff got mixed up and we have to personally get our luggages to which room they placed them. As far as i know staff should wait for a room number first before insisting on sending the luggages. Internet here is erratic bring your own pocket wifi. Signal is weak at some places. I brought 2 kids with me and requested that their bfast be served at the room since they need to attend online classes. Well the bfast was served well on the first day but they didnt serve it on the second saying we didnt remind them considering we had it arranged upon check in. Staff almost always made faces when told. They allow team building activities to other guests without wearing facemasks!

Actually the 2nd resort I have stayed in since this year long pandemic. Long ride. But worth it. Stayed in a spacious grand family suite which has private pool jacuzzi access. Generous amenities. Luxurious items. Wifi didn’t come as erratic. Resort in itself has many photo opportunities if you’re the one who utilises social media more often. 2 huge pools are available, including the infinity one. Only one main restaurant, where we had dinner and buffet breakfast. Good food and service. To sum it up , it was a fine break. I would suggest staying at least 2 nights to maximise the assets of this property. Reminder: no food and beverages allowed inside. But ask for water from housekeeping, they will give you generous bottled ones. Also , practicing safety etiquettes are observed throughout the resort . Lastly, thankful for the staff , from the spa , bell personnel, caddy drivers, Soraya people, housekeeping, room service. Special mention to front desk staff Jackie , who was our beckon call from start to finish. Real pro indeed.

The place is really great but the customer service is not at par with a 5-star hotel. Went there to relax but we got stressed out to begin with. Can’t handle servicing a family of 10, 7 adults and 4 kids, which they are made aware since we paid in full prior to going but they provided stuffs in our hotel room just for 2 people. We have to call every now and then due to the lack of stuffs provided to us. They didn’t even change the water in the jacuzzi and it’s reeking with black dirt. In the morning, we clicked on the make up room but when we return at 12 because it’s hot they haven’t made our room yet. That was the turning point hence I spoke with the Manager but even him doesn’t seem to know what to do. The hotel didn’t live up to our expectation we thought we will be relaxed but we got really stressed out by the awfulness of it all.

The staff was not accommodating or flexible. they need to be reoriented with regard to hotel management, handling clients, and requests. Facilities are not PWD and senior citizen friendly. The toiletries given were not complete and they needed to be reminded how many people there are in a room to provide the toiletries, even though they already have the complete list of names per room. The towels, comforters, and other linen are not well kept as they have a foul smell. The food provided was SOOOO expensive but NOT worth the price tag since the chicken was too small for the rice given, rice was not properly cooked as it was still crunchy! service was VERY slow and dragging. they have a major miscommunication problem that they should address.

Breakfast was good, I ate a lot since the chicken I ordered the day before was small and does not have enough meat in it (see the photo attached). The egg station asked me if I wanted cheese, I said no, but my omelet still came with cheese. and I was the only one who asked for an omelet at that time! since I was watching my order the whole time. I am highly lactose intolerant and this mistake should not have happened.

the pool was well maintained 4/5 stars. and spa/massage was great 4/5 stars. the room was spacious but the toilet exhaust did not do its job. as well as the water heater. extra beds are placed on the floor. -- this was hard for older people to get up from.

overall there are A LOT of things they need to improve for me to go back and spend all my hard-earned money.

During my recent stay here with my Family, I was disappointed with the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected and left me feeling deeply unsatisfied. From the moment I arrived, I noticed several red flags. The front desk staff seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged my presence. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable. However, the air conditioning unit and bathtub was leaking and reported the issue. The staff informed me that they will send someone to fix it but nobody came. Throughout our stay, we encountered numerous issues. We ordered room service and the food arrived after an Hour. Food was served cold even if waiting for a long time. And the restaurant was overpriced and underwhelming, with food that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. In light of these issues, I must say that I do not believe that the cost of my stay was justified. The service I received did not match the price I paid, and I feel that I have been overcharged for a subpar experience. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The poor customer service, and overprice rate left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience.
