The BBL is a remote hideaway about 1 hr by car from Coron town. On your way there we passed beautiful lush rice fields and cattle farms. The road was windy and our driver drove quite fast, some roads were unsealed and flooded. The positives: beautiful, exclusive, peaceful. Service was top notched, staff was courteous and helpful. There were only...

Dear ClassyOZ, Thank you for writing us this review. It is good to know you enjoyed the exclusivity of the resort. We would also like to apologize for our shortcomings like your spa appointment and fast driving during your transfers. We had already speak to our staffs about this. Once again, thank you and we hope to see you again....

We cannot be more pleased with our trip to Palawan thanks to Busuanga Bay Lodge! The property is in a gorgeous and peaceful area and it begs to be taken in with a moment of awe when you arrive. The staff are courteous and friendly! They were all generous with their smiles and eager to assist! As the kickoff of...

We stayed at BBL from 11/28-12/1 and loved it! They were very accommodating to our large group of 11 which included seniors and small children. The welcome included love music, a lei, and calamansi juice. We were escorted to the pool/bar area with the most breathtaking views of the bay at sunset. Our rooms were in the 400 level with...

From the pick up from the hotel to the check out, I have to say we received the warmest and most accommodating service that I have experienced in a while. We booked this hotel at the last minute (booked on a Saturday afternoon for a Monday arrival!) and glad this was what popped up on Google. We got a welcome...

Room was excellent, comfy, clean and well stocked. There were complimentary fruits in the room and we had a great view and they promise that each of the 41 rooms has a great view. There was really good wifi and cable TV. Location: it was an hour's drive from the Busuanga airport which was pretty reasonable. The transfers were included...

BBL hosted our wedding accommodating over 100 guests, many of whom stayed at the hotel or the weekend. The view and setting were fantastic, working with Thomas and Roeland to set up the F&B (outside caterer), decorations, and sound systems was a breeze, and negotiating the contract with them was mostly painless. Our reception was brilliant and the memory of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Busuanga Bay Lodge, Palawan Resort is part of the integrated resort enclave in Busuanga, Coron, Palawan called Puerto del Sol. We are located in the southwestern part of Busuanga Island, in northern Palawan. You can easily escape from the pressures of city living by a 45-minute flight from key hubs like Manila, Cebu, and Davao - or by an even shorter flight from the provincial capital of Puerto Princesa. Busuanga is rich in biodiversity, and so the resort was envisioned to promote and support such a beautiful natural community. The Bermuda-inspired architecture and the name of our boutique getaway are from the developer's desire to initially create a fishing retreat. However, this activity is only one of many that Busuanga has to offer. Renewable energy and sustainable design are among the key thrusts in the development. Indeed, we have created an oasis in this semi-remote part of Busuanga Island in Palawan by ensuring that guests can enjoy all the modern conveniences onsite as well as have the easiest access to luxury adventures in the area's on-land and underwater attractions. Inside the resort, guests will be pampered with luxurious Spa Services and offered an extensive wine selection from the in-house Wine Cellar. ... more   less
