Decades into living in the Philippines, this decision to spend a near week in Busuanaga Bay/Coron was top metal. The plan was to anchor into a small, luxurious resort with air conditioning, great cuisine, wifi, gym...to come back to in the evening, while spending most of the day on a local banka boat, island hoping, visiting sea/fresh water lakes, endulging...

Waking up in a place like this with such a view just makes my day. The absolute Paradise it is. The infinity pool and the restaurant besides it is, all in one place, just perfect. Staff is really friendly and attentive and the breakfast is great, especially the Scrambled egg with salmon. We shall recommend and hopefully return soon.

We just spent 6 nights at the very relaxing BBL and if you are looking to get off the grid in a truly tropical paradise whilst maintaining the option of a few essential mod cons (Wi-Fi, A/C, hot water - rain shower and a decent sized bath tub, good local food, spa / massage etc..) then we'd highly recommend the...

Upon arriving at BBL, the very first thing that will catch your attention is the magnificent view. The lobby leads to the infinity pool which opens up to the vast and stunning view of Busuanga Bay. The architecture and landscaping is impeccable, hardly any trace of damage from super typhoon Haiyan. The resort staff's performance was excellent - they were...

We arrived at Busuanga Bay via sailboat and spent a wonderful evening at Busuanga Bay Lodge enjoying dinner and a massage at the hotel. The following evening we returned to the hotel after my husband became very ill. Sebastian (manager) and the staff at Busuanga Bay were exceptionally helpful. My husband was placed in a hotel room to rest while...

Busuanga Bay Lodge (BBL) was a fantastic place for me and my family to stay for five nights. The pool is perfect for quiet lounging, the rooms are quiet, and luxurious, and most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly and focused on making your stay as pleasant as possible. If you are interested in shipwreck diving, this is the place...

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous sojourn to Busuanga at the very new Busuanga Bay Lodge. It took 1 hour on a dirt road for half the trip from the airport, but was definitely worth it. The facilities and room are first class. The manager welcomed us with his team on arrival and service throughout our stay was attentive...

We visited BBL just after Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. The staff had done an amazing job of getting everything cleaned up and back to normal in only 2 days! The manager, Sebastian, was a most engaging host, and his staff all friendly & attentive. The view from the main restaurant / lobby is just amazing. Luxurious and peaceful, but with many activities...

If you are looking for a resort close to town or shopping area, you may want to consider another place but if you want to stay in a nice and calm place in direct contact with the nature and water sports you won't find any better place to stay in the Bussuanga Bay than this brand new resort. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Busuanga Bay Lodge, Palawan Resort is part of the integrated resort enclave in Busuanga, Coron, Palawan called Puerto del Sol. We are located in the southwestern part of Busuanga Island, in northern Palawan. You can easily escape from the pressures of city living by a 45-minute flight from key hubs like Manila, Cebu, and Davao - or by an even shorter flight from the provincial capital of Puerto Princesa. Busuanga is rich in biodiversity, and so the resort was envisioned to promote and support such a beautiful natural community. The Bermuda-inspired architecture and the name of our boutique getaway are from the developer's desire to initially create a fishing retreat. However, this activity is only one of many that Busuanga has to offer. Renewable energy and sustainable design are among the key thrusts in the development. Indeed, we have created an oasis in this semi-remote part of Busuanga Island in Palawan by ensuring that guests can enjoy all the modern conveniences onsite as well as have the easiest access to luxury adventures in the area's on-land and underwater attractions. Inside the resort, guests will be pampered with luxurious Spa Services and offered an extensive wine selection from the in-house Wine Cellar. ... more   less
