We were in room #4 and the amorous couple next door kept us awake most of the night. Ever hear the expression "if these walls could talk"? They were so thin, they did! It was like the couple was in the same room as us. The next morning I told them we needed to switch rooms. Their first response was "NO". At that point, I was ready to find a new place to stay. My wife pulled the manager aside and provided DETAILS about our interrupted sleep. This time we got a different answer. We were moved to a room in the opposite building that was becoming vacant that morning. Our next two nights were great. Room #15 was the weekend lifesaver. I'm surprised the thin walls in the main building were not mentioned in any of the reviews. But now they are. Breakfast was good, we didn't think the beds were that hard, and everything else was comfortable. However, our first night and the initial "NO" response of the inkeeper lingered. The Ai Casali is in a convenient location and Cividale del Friuli as a great "base camp" for a couple days of hiking. However, we will look at another property the next time we return to the area.…

Dear Mr Brooks, first at all I have to apologize for my English which is not so good. I think we had a misunderstanding due to my bad knowledge of your language. And I am really sorry for your first night in our agriturismo. I remember our conversation the day after and if I said "No" as first response I apologize again (I really do not remember my first word. I remember that I said we were fully booked but after a check I realized I could move some reservations). I did not want to be unpolite. Our job is to provide a good service (sleep+breakfast) in a nice place (our home). And yes... our walls are just home's wall not soundproof hotel walls. We are planning to fix this issue as soon as we can but this kind of restoration work takes time. Thanks to your feedback we will do our best to improve our rooms in the main building. Thanks also for the other feedbacks.

We stayed here for a week whilst attending a family wedding in the region. We rented 2 rooms and 1 apartment in the block which houses the reception and breakfast room. The rooms were a good size, furnished in simple but comfortable style and everywhere was nice and clean. The individual rooms had balconies and nice views but we were disappointed that our apartment (No. 5) had a limited view and a balcony which was not really useable. The beds had firm mattresses, but as someone with a bad back I found they gave me a great nights sleep. As the weather was extremely hot all week we also appreciated the air conditioning and the nice outdoor pool. The property is located on a working farm in an agricultural area and with nice hill views. Cividale is a 5 minute drive and there is easy access to Slovenia and the wine growing area of the colli orientali. There is a great place to eat in the local village of Sanguarzo - Frasca da Gianna - and free loan of bikes. The breakfasts were very good and we felt that the property was good value for money. A special mention also for Elena, who helped us out a lot both before arrival and throughout the week of our holiday - thanks for making it a great week.…

If you want peace.. This is where you should go. At 10 pm (without some pesky neighbours) you will hear (if possible) total silence. Except maybe some frogs and so on. To enjoy a complete relax. But Beds could & should be (much) better. For the rest nothing bad to say. An oasis of peace (only at night 😊 and again with no pesky people near you)

Really beautiful place with a Great and friendly hosts. There is nice pool area, comfy Rooms with A/C and balconies with beautiful view to mountains or farm fields. The breakfast was really good. Would recommend!

Ai Casali is surrounded by land being farmed for everything from grapes to sunflowers and it's a very relaxing setting with an easy 20-minute bike ride into downtown Civedale. The clean guest rooms are larger than a typical Italian hotel and the air conditioning and Internet access are great. It's really an exceptional value when you consider the swimming pool, bountiful breakfast and terrific views of the mountains and Castlemonte in the distance. The family who runs the hotel is very accommodating. When we requested a taxi to the train station for our departure, they said there was no need since a family member would drive us there. Some of the things we enjoyed on our stay was riding bicycles on a great trail system through the farmland, swimming at the pool and walking or riding our bikes into Civedale, a quaint Medieval town with cobblestone streets lined with great restaurants, cafes and shops. What a secret gem. The location and views were glorious. Had views of Castlemonte. Rooms were quaint, beds were a little too firm, but the breakfast available in the cost didn't make you want to linger in bed. The lovely swimming pool was a huge bonus during the very hot weather. Can't wait to book again.

From the small road to reach the farm House you have 300meters of vegetation from vineyards to sunflower field and behind the swimming pool the mountains. It is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast you have choices. Would have stay longer.
