It's a hotel you can book via their email address. Located not far from the roundabout you enter the town by. Very pleasent staff on Reception. Simple but clean rooms. Good shower and toilet facility. Bar and resturant. Good food. Breakfeast included from 07.30.
Stayed for one night on the way from Santander Ferry to Soria. The hotel is fascinating with lots of artifacts decorating the hallways. The menu del dia served in the onsite restaurant was excellent value and good quality. Breakfast was included in our rate and was served in the adjoining cafe. Motorcycle parking was secure at an extra cost. The staff were very good particularly those serving dinner in the restaurant. This is a lovely town and this hotel was a perfect choice.
We had one night at this hotel on the way back to the port of Bilbao. The room we had was very spacious and clean and we were not disappointed, plus the location in this lovely town was excellent. There was also underground parking, though there was a cost for this. The breakfast was adequate and we ate in the evening in the restaurant, which again was only adequate and we did find to be rather costly, plus it only opened at 9pm (I realise this is the Spanish way, but we were really hungry and couldn't find anywhere in the entire town to eat before this time!) It was, however, a very pleasant stay and we were glad we had booked.
I already knew the restaurant from a previous visit, and decided to spend a night here this time around. Location is good, and price was reasonable, including the breakfast. Decoration though looks a bit dated. Room and toilet had a good size, with a small balcony looking to an interior garden. Nevertheless cleanliness was not at the right standard, as the toilet bin has not been emptied (maybe it was a miss), but I found a big stain on the shower curtain (that being plastic probably could have been easily removed). They offer also a 10% discount on the restaurant, although if you have done the check out it can not be used. This means that once you do your check in, if you are staying only one night, it could only be used for dinner. Maybe it could have a second chance, or not, and try somewhere else.…
Driving from Las Cuevas del Altimare to Valladolid I had picked the town of Aguilar de Campoo as a stop for lunch at what appeared to be the halfway point. We drove around the town a bit but finally settled on Restaurante Valentine which was on the main street into the town. Initially entering the bar and a small eating area we thought we had misjudged but then we were shown around a passage past the lobby of the Hotel into the main very large restaurant. The waiter was very attentive. The menu of the day looked very enticing so that is what we ordered along with a seafood soup. The food was very good and by the time we left the place was packed and it was primarily locals not tourists
