My husband and I spent one perfect evening at the Auberge. Our hostesses, Juliette and Florence were kind and very accommodating. The auberge is small (5 guest rooms), cozy, and impeccably clean. We made use of the outdoor hot tub, infrared sauna, and fireplace. Books, cards, and board games are available. The next morning we were served a wonderful and healthy breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we needed, peace and quiet. We will return in the summer.

We stayed for 3 nights for a mid-week pandemic break and found it so relaxing and comfortable. The hosts (Juliette and Florence) helped us find places to have dinner and also sights to see.

We must especially mention the creative and satisfying breakfasts! Florence is an inventive chef with wonderful taste buds. A place to revisit.

The hosts, Florence & Juliette, are welcoming and helpful. The beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean.
The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this inn, close to Magog and Sherbrooke, an oasis of calm and refreshing time with my family.

We had a great time at this charming and quaint little B&B! The owner Florence took the time to greet us at the door and personally guide us around the historic house while offering us the living history of the family that originally built the place in 1875. We were enthralled at the still orginal staircase and antique furniture from days gone by.

We were invited to use their library or relax in front of the fire, they told us we could order a charcuterie & cheese board if we so desired of local hand-cured meats and cheeses prior to our dinner reservations.

After a leisurely soak in their outdoor spa (the water was hot and the spa was clean), we relaxed in their infrared sauna.

We retired to our room where fluffy pillows and a comfy duvet on a cozy bed awaited us. The towels were soft and very plush, we felt very invirgorated after using organic soap and body wash from a local supplier that hinted at cedar and rosemary.

The following morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast in a sun-drenched dining area, again with a bounty from local suppliers; the hostesses we're kind enough to provide GF toast and lactose-free yogurt for me. We sampled lots of fruit, freshly-pressed tart cherry juice, homeade granola, poached eggs with a pepper and tomato compote, Sumatran coffee and choke cherry coulis.

Florence also was patient enough to answer all our questions and we had a lively and spirited discussion about the area and where to find this and that.

Florence also procured our ski lift tickets with a discount to ski at nearby Mont Orford which we appreciated as we didn't have any hassle and the mountain was a 4 minute car ride (very convenient!!!)

There was free, secure parking onsite.

This place was very easy to find, and very quiet. It was super clean and very tastefully decorated, with a no-frills country vibe.

There were many choices of tea and drinks.

We also received a discount coupon to use at various shops and restaurants which I thought was nice.

Complementary slippers were provided in the lobby, as well as items available for sale from local suppliers.

I will certainly return to this hidden gem off the beaten path. Even though it's tucked away from the village, it's still close to the town of Magog if you want to shop or eat (about 10 minutes away). There were tons of restaurants and shop ls nearby, even a chocolate museum and soap shop (cute!)...

Thank you Florence!

This was a great find. The owners could not have been nicer. The accommodations were well worth the price. They have a hot tub which is just what we wanted after dinner. Will definitely return!
This BnB is close to Magog, so there are plenty of nice restaurants and shops. We ate at fondissimo. (Fondue and byob- which was nice). If you've not been to Magog in the winter, don't forget to also bring you ice skates

We stayed for one night during the Thanksgiving weekend. The hospitality was incredible. It is something you will never get in a large chain hotel. Gilles and Veronique were very excellent hosts. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a very unique French taste. If you're looking for simple bacon and eggs, you can get that at any truck stop along the road.

Next time I am in the area, we will be staying at L'Auberge de la Tour!

Stayed here for one night and it went very well. The people running the place were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the building itself was quite cozy. Wish we could've stayed longer!

We booked between Christmas and New Years for a two night stay with another family. They had stayed here once before when it was run by the former proprietors. We ended up staying an extra night so we ended up staying in every room except Tour 5. I can say that they all are very nice and comfy. Some bigger than the others but all of them well decorated.
From the moment we arrived the new owners, Mireille and Dave, made us feel right at home. The weather didn't cooperate with our skiing plans and one of the kids got sick but Dave and Mireille made us feel like we were staying with family. From the fresh breakfast, homemade with locally sourced healthy foods to brewing Yogi tea and drying our rain soaked ski gear I felt like I was at my sisters house. When we ordered dinners to be delivered the table was set for us. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
Whether your a couple looking for a quiet place or a family looking for reasonable lodging it is an excellent choice. The spa and hot tub are on the smaller side but were able to accommodate the needs of our two families. The living room is ample and there are games to play if you desire or just read by the fire that Dave has perfected.
I look forward to a return visit and maybe a chance to experience Mireille's yoga class but I'm really going back for those breakfasts.
