    excellent hotel and staff
    We stayed for one week half board during a guided walking holiday based at the hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant was superb with perhaps the most friendly team we have ever encountered. Full marks to everyone involved.

    Hi, will there be any bars, cafes or restaurants open in Luz in early November? I realise that November is out of the tourist season but will Luz be a ghost town or will there be some establishments open at all?
    As a visitor only in Spring I couldn’t really give you a definitive answer. Be better if you asked at you accommodation. However as we visited in March there were cafes and bars open. There is a static population it’s not just a tourist resort.

    Hello, Two questions: 1. Does every room have a view? 2. Is it a safe walk into town? Our kids are 12 and 14. We are ok walking up a hill!
    To the best of my knowlage all rooms look into the centre were the pool is. There are views to the coast from any but the ground floor. But the compensation is you get direct access to the pool. The walk into town is safe and straightforward

    Hi looking at this hotel for travel in August, interested in surfing whilst there...are there any good surf schools nearby?
    Dear Mr/s, Regarding your query, in Sagres (aprox. 20Km from Praia da Luz) there is the best surf schools of Algarve, if booked, they can collect you from the Hotel (with an additional cost).     Are towels definitely provided for the pool? I've seen a couple of reviews say so. Can they also be taken to the beach?
    Yes towels are included and you can take them to the beach. They have towels for round the pool and separate towels to take with you to the beach. The hotel is great 👍🏻 like home from home !

    Yes there is a safe but you need to pay for it also hair dryer and iron
