A really enjoyable stay - staff were super helpful and happy to go the extra mile. Our apartment was ideal for what we wanted. Comfortable and relaxing and within walking distance of the Brentford Stadium rugby/football ground. Convenience shops and places to eat on the doorstep.

I have stayed at the Aparthotel Adagio hotel many times, even when it was known as the Urban Villa Hotel, before it was acquired by the Adagio group. I have loved the hotel since my first stay that has to be about 5 years ago now. However I had not stayed in the hotel since March 8th 2020, which was days before the COVID-19 lockdown and wanted to stay at the hotel again to see if it has changed. I stayed for 8 days and can say that the high quality of the hotel has not changed if you are looking for an apartment type hotel where one can cook and feel at home. On my arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find that the manager was still there. She remembered me even though I was still wearing a mask (since I was not comfortable not wearing a mask as in San Francisco where I live we still wear masks). We talked and as I am considered a returning guest, I did not have to have the amount held for breakages etc. held on my credit card., which I really appreciated. The gentleman at the front desk was excellent. Very friendly indeed and each day asked me if all was well and wanted to ensure that I was enjoying my stay and that all was fine and checked if I needed anything as well. They whole staff were extremely friendly. One night I urgently needed to print some things for my office at 3am in the morning and the night manager went out of his way to assist me, which was really much appreciated. Because my stay was for 8 days, I was entitled to my room serviced, which I declined because I am sensitive about COVID 19. I was impressed when one of the service ladies came to my room half way through my stay to ask me if she could empty the dustbins and take out any trash/rubbish I had. That was a nice touch. The room was much the same as I have become accustomed to. I reserved the Studio with the extra sofa style seat. Every was clean and working and the rooms still looked modern and very nice. Now I had reserved a high floor but by the time I checked in the higher floors were taken so I was given room 506. The only slight problem was the shower was not draining properly but as soon as I informed the front desk and the gentleman who takes care of this as he happened to also be at the front desk, this was taken care of straight away and by the time I returned that evening everything was fine. All the appliances etc. were all working properly and there were 3 sets of everything like plates, cups cutlery and posts and pans, so no issues at all in that regard. I highly recommend this hotel, hence why I have stayed there so many times. For me the location is great because I always have a car and one has easy access to places like Key Gardens and Richmond for the supermarkets (Marks & Spencer and Waitrose), the M4 & M25 motorways and the A406 North Circular. The two little things that I did notice that were different were that the charge for the garage parking has gone up. It used to be £12 and it has gone up to £15. I found that perhaps a little annoying, especially since the parking for the hotel was pretty much empty. I think the parking should be free since this is not a central London hotel. Also, the door from the garage is locked at 10pm to I believe it was 5pm. This means if you return to the hotel after 10pm you have to walk to the ramp used to get get into the garage and walk up it and outside to the front entrance of the hotel. This was frustrating as twice it was raining and cold. For a guest, this is ridicules' as one should be able to enter the hotel from the garage as we used to at any time. The first night, the front desk manager did come down to the garage entrance to let me in though. So because of those two slight issues I will give the hotel a 4.5 out of 5, but overall a fantastic stay at an excellent hotel that I highly recommend. I love this hotel

I was travelling to London by car and needed a hotel with parking within a short distance from the National Archives. This hotel is very comfortable, the apartment I had was large, with a great bed and a good shower. The view out of the window was not great as it overlooked the Westway but I did not go here for the scenery. It was a 9 minute drive to the NationalArchvies which equally has its own car park. Parking at the hotel is not cheap, £15 per night, but it was convenient. It is underground and there are very specific spaces to park in which the hotel gave me a list of a couple of days before arriving. The staff were very good, I had one glitch with the safe which had been left locked in the open position and subsequently needed a battery change but these were dealt with swiftly. There is a small Sainsbury's just in front of the hotel where one can buy any food you need as there are not loads of restaurants within walking distance. After a day with files it was nice just to come in and sort out what I wanted. I thought the utensils in the kitchen could have been better selected perhaps with a view to the type of ready meals that guests might be buying from the supermarket. (i.e. no baking tray, no colander) I also found it slightly annoying that the kitchen sockets were all hidden behind the microwave. The microwave is quite underpowered by today's standard when you take into account cooking instructions looking for 750W or 900W machines. I did appreciate having the Nespresso machine. I would certainly go here again if I was doing any research at Kew.
