We wanted to stay a little closer to Rome our last night in Italy. So glad I found this place on line. The hotel is in an old mansion of a Count. Tons of rooms to sit and relax just like you’re there visiting a Count. Staff friendly and helpful. And don’t miss dining at their restaurant. Absolutely incredible dining experience in the old horse stable …
I was here for one night on business, and the man, director, has been so rude and vulgar. Food wasn't nice, chicken was boiled instead roasted in oven. Breakfast quite nice at least... next time, if there will be, i won't book anymore.
We arrived with no booking and was accommodated with no fuss while the hotel was in the middle of catering for a function. We were extremely pleased with the level of comfort in the room and the high standard service level we received for the price we paid. We were only supposed to stay one night and then move on but the weather was so bad we turned around and asked for our room back after checking out - which again was no problem at all. Breakfast was superb with a great option of sweet and savoury choices including fresh fruit The only issue I had being a light sleeper is that the noise from adjoining rooms can be heard which was most likely due to the function guests. While this was not a problem on the second night. The hotel is a 17th century Count's home that has been converted into a hotel and has some amazing original features such as the oak floor leading to the breakfast room that was designed for the horses I would highly recommend this hotel for great value, service and the breakfast as well the overall comfort level…
A truly royal Italian experience. My bike was shown like a fine horse, to its stable for the night. I was welcomed, in beautiful English, by Mauro and his equally well spoken assistant, to a huge, spotlessly clean, decorated room, with views all the way to Rome, past beautiful paintings, sculpture and flowers. The shower recently refurbished, was hot with plenty of pressure. The ceiling was hand painted, entertaining me, as I lay upon a very comfortable bed. The carpet was handmade for my yoga session, as was the cappuccino at the full breakfast. I'd dinner in the restaurant where vegetarian options were not a problem, the porcini funghi and potatoes wonderful, and the Rosso di Casa smooth. What a fine, freindly and luxurious hotel. An authentic royal Italian experience, for such a reasonable price. I was treated like a king.…
We were greeted like friends and treated like family. This hotel is a true gem. We will 100% be back. Our Hotel room was special, if you compare to what you can get for the same price in the US , it's laughable, this is truly a 4 Star closer to a 5 Star location. The breakfast in the morning , was perfect, if you are looking for greasy eggs and bacon, then this won't be for you, if you are looking for elegant light Italian fare , then you've come to the right place.…
"Coming from Australia we were astounded as to the wide range of designer glasses, the amazing prices and efficiency of the local Optometrist. We purchased numerous pairs of designer specs and had lenses made in under two hour for much less than one pair of the same make at home. Local fashion shops also great range and prices."Read full review
