After spending some nights in the hectic of Coron town I was more than happy to find this nice resort. It is located about half way between Coron town and the airport and it offeres a free shuttel to and from Coron town. The resort kindly sent its free shuttle after I gave them a call. The place was very tranquile, green and peaceful. A nice pool is placed in the middle. The food I had was good. My room I had was spacious and comfortable. The buildings here are not brand new but well maintained. All staff members I met were friendly and helpful The only disadvantage was the wifi which is only available at the restaurant and not on the rooms. Considering that the resort offers free pick ups and shuttle service to Coron town this is for me the place of choice.

The room is good but aircon is really old. It has a decent shower and commum areas are nice. The problem is the food they serve in here. Nothing is fresh. Menu does not reflect what is served and we have nothing else around. Its really empty too what gives a feeling of lethargy. Im not sure if I liked it and two days one night is enough for me. Especially because the food is unbearable.

We booked this hotel via agoda. We booked for a category of room (Vista) and they gave us a family room. Which, I think, wasn't as nice as the one I booked for. They told me it was the same price. But I didn't care about the price, I wanted the room I chose. Finally they changed our room, after several discussions.
The breakfast is ok. The dinner is not, it was really awful.
This hotel is really far from the center of coron, 500php one way. But you have a round trip every day included in the price, between 8am and 8pm.
Airport transfer is 150php per person.

We went to visit Coron last October 2015. We had different preference on where we want to say, Busuanga Island Paradise came as the winner due to their speedy reply, value for money rates and good reviews we saw from different online sites. We got a full package from them with package including the rooms, meals and tours. We stayed at La Vista rooms. It was nice and homey, good for family who wants to share a room. The staff were accommodating and although our flight has been delayed upon arrival, we still push through as planned to do the City Tour late in the afternoon climbing Mt Tapyas and proceeding to soak in a hot spring. They made our 3 day stay full and hectic to say the least and of course we will be back for more as we were not able to visit Calauit Sanctuary. On our second day the island hopping was also well arranged. On our third day me and my husband went up to Jonas Hill which is just beside the resort. It's a mountain top not that high but exemplary sunrise setting as well.

Rooms - ok and comfortable
Staff- friendly and very accommodating
Facilities - just right (well maintained pool/restaurant with a nice ambiance
Food - 1st night was SUPERB, other days/nights are ok

Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We stayed there recently for 6 nights as a way to de-stress after a long flight. The real attraction of Busuanga Island is the diving and snorkeling which are world class. There are some nice hot springs as well located about 20 mins from town by tricycle. The resort itself is located about 12 km from town so you are well away from the hustle and bustle. The driver from the resort was waiting and we were on our way within 15 mins of landing. The airport is in the middle of a valley and we could not see any other buildings nearby. We crossed a cattle guard within a few km so it became apparent that this was cow grazing land. We could not see any of the typical fruit or coconut trees. Instead it looked to be patches of scrub and tropical hardwoods or bamboo most of it pretty intact. The long winding road to the resort was good. Prior to arriving at the resort we could see more downed trees and some damaged to the huts. The entrance to the resort seemed more like a campground judging from all the logs that were piled up. The reception area was a traditional wood building with large open verandah with chairs and table set up. We were the only ones to arrive although a group of 50 from the dept. of natural resources were already staying at the resort. After checking in we were taken across a covered bridge over a flowing a stream and saw the first of the casitas which are designed for 2 people and are spaced a few yards apart. The centrally situated pool and Jacuzzi area looked inviting and indeed were welcoming after a long hot trip. Across another covered bridge we entered the area of larger bungalow. These were nicely furnished although the air conditioning and TV was older. The bathroom was quite large and had nice tile work.

The large group staying there had requested exclusive use of the restaurant at night so were asked if we would take our dinner around the pool area which we found to be enjoyable. The staff was very attentive.

Early the next morning I took a hike up the trail to the viewpoint above the resort about a 20 min walk. At first it was a little difficult to find as it looked like the trail was going to someone's backyard which later turned about to be the manager's office / residence. The brightly coloured crest of bird on the branches of an acacia tree came in to view. It flew off before I could point my camera at it. There were a lot of trees still down and the trail was blocked in parts. I removed some of these myself and wondered why after 3 weeks the trail was in such poor condition still. Since I only knew about the trail from other trip advisor reviewers I was left to conclude that the management did not want to promote it although I am left wondering why as the view is spectacular and one of the resort's assets. Later on my hike down passing a small shallow pond the tail of a lizard caught my eye. No sooner than I had turned on my camera when it became apparent that it was over two feet long and it scurried out of the water before I had a chance to press the shutter.

After a filling breakfast we were taken into town one of the resort's driver and had a chance to see some of the destruction unleased by typhoon Haiyan aka Yolanda locally. Much of the island although not all seemed to have escaped the worst of it. Some of the worst struck buildings were the ones with metal roofs a opposed to the traditional thatched nipa huts which were probably repaired much more quickly if at all. Our resort was still running on generators however but aside form the drone of the diesel you wouldn't have noticed any difference.
If you are looking for a nice respite from it all then this might suit the bill. Aside from the pool and aforementioned trail there isn't much to do here. WORD OF WARNING: don't expect to be able to pay your bill with a foreign credit card. We tried using 4 different ones and could only pay with a local one.

This was my 3rd trip to The Philippines inside 9 months, and my 3rd visit to Busuanga Island Paradise.
I have reviewed it twice before, (October 2012 and March 2013) and i really can't add too much to past reviews.
The resort is a peaceful, quiet place, that is absolutely ideal for relaxing.
The staff, as always, are a great group of people who treat you like one of their own, and not just a number like is done at big city hotels !

On my 3 trips to The Philippines since last October, i have stayed a week in Manila, and a week in Coron at Busuanga Island Paradise.
Next time though, i think i may just spend the whole 2 weeks at B.I.P. !!

To see the whole island properly, i advise hiring a motorbike from "Boyet" in Coron Town.
He is a great guy who will help you out with maps, and advice on where to go and what to see.
His rates are unbeatbale (500PHP per day = Approx $12.50AUD), and if hiring for a few days/week, he will give you a discount !

Plan on a ride around the entire island, which will take you less than 8 hours.
Stop at all the tiny Barangays (villages) along the way, and buy a cold drink from the local store.
This is a great opportunity to meet and speak to the locals.
They will welcome you with friendly smiles, as they don't see too many tourists, and seem quite intrigued by us.

Specifically, stop at Santo Nino, wich is about 30k's from Coron Town Proper, and visit Metch at her tiny little Barangay store.
She is a great lady, with a beautiful soul, and an infectious smile.

As always, "Maraming Salamat" to Rina and all the staff at B.I.P. for yet another great stay.
I miss you guys so much, and look forward to my next visit !!

We booked this place for. Our Coron trip over the New Years, 31-1-2nd jan. The airport shuttle picked us and dropped at the hotel in about 25-30 mins. It's in a lush green environment but 20 mins drive from the closest sea/ water area.
At the reception, we were disappointed to know that they had over booked the hotel and we had no Casitas left. We had booked two casitas for us, two couples. And they offered us the la vista rooms, but checkin at evening. If u wish to stay here, make sure you call them n remind about ur exact booking. The casitas are much better than the la vista rooms for a couple and la vista for families travelling together.
The hotel interiors were good , and the service good too. Good variety in food choices too. Restaurants close at 10pm.
We had a good stay except for the fact that we had to settle for other rooms.. And it was our anniversary :(
It's a good place to stay, but after visiting Coron, I would suggest Dive link resort- waterfront as a good option. There are many lodging n bag packing places too depending on the budget. But Coron is a must visit place if you are travelling in the Philippines. :)

This is a great resort to go if you want to have a get-away. The place has around 25 acres and has only 17 units, so it's pretty private and quiet. It's just 10-15 minutes away from the airport and town. My friend and I went there in late November, and we practically had the place to ourselves, expected since we went there on Wed-Fri. There was another big group of about 10 but we only saw them once during dinnertime. And two other individual folks whom we never saw during the entire stay, I guess our meal schedules were different. The place felt like it was our own house. Although we had a TV in our room, it only had limited channels. There was a big flatscreen TV with satellite in the lounge though, and we usually stayed to watch for a few minutes after dinner. The resort had a pool too and it was clean. We would use the pool after we come back from a whole day of island hopping them sit by the poolside for some beer and snacks.

Service was good, the staff were very friendly. Wouldn't call this 5-star service but the simple personalized service made us feel very much at home. My friend even got to see the kitchen and ask for some cooking tips from the cook.

We got hold of their package which already includes all transportation and meals, even the picnic meal during the island hopping. So it was really no stress at all :-)

The resort is not near the beach, so if you want a beachside resort, this is not a place you would get. But it's a great resort for a get-away, where you get the best of both worlds, a relaxing quiet resort in a forest like environment at night, and during the day adventure out in the waters of Coron.

Re location, if you want to visit the town at night, it's a little bit inconvenient as you have to pay for a van fee to take you there. It didn't matter to us as Coron is quite small and we didn't really need to go out there at night.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back.

This place was a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Makati, particularly as I was travelling on my own. There is a great walk up the hill for amazing views of Coron, I went at about 3pm but I imagine it would be beautiful for a sunset.

Foodwise they start you out with a hearty breakfast that keeps you going over lunch and the dinners are nice, though it wasn't the best food I had on the Philippines trip.

The only thing I would say is that it is a bit far from the town itself. I knew that it wasn't on the beach front but I guess I under estimated the distance. once you're back in the resort in the evening there isn't a lot to do, though that was just what I needed on this particular trip - though I think it is worth mentioning.

All in all I would recommend.

(A quick note - I actually travelled March 2010 but there was no option for that on TA).

There is one complimentary shuttle ride from the hotel to town every day.

No. It's far from the main town and makes exploring the town difficult. The resort is quiet, peaceful and beautiful and the food is delicious but expensive.

Food was average. Fine for 1 night, but ventured into Coron for the second night. We did tour A, which we booked through reception, and highly recommend it.
