The breakfast is ok. The dinner is not, it was really awful.
This hotel is really far from the center of coron, 500php one way. But you have a round trip every day included in the price, between 8am and 8pm.
Airport transfer is 150php per person.

Rooms - ok and comfortable
Staff- friendly and very accommodating
Facilities - just right (well maintained pool/restaurant with a nice ambiance
Food - 1st night was SUPERB, other days/nights are ok
Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The large group staying there had requested exclusive use of the restaurant at night so were asked if we would take our dinner around the pool area which we found to be enjoyable. The staff was very attentive.
Early the next morning I took a hike up the trail to the viewpoint above the resort about a 20 min walk. At first it was a little difficult to find as it looked like the trail was going to someone's backyard which later turned about to be the manager's office / residence. The brightly coloured crest of bird on the branches of an acacia tree came in to view. It flew off before I could point my camera at it. There were a lot of trees still down and the trail was blocked in parts. I removed some of these myself and wondered why after 3 weeks the trail was in such poor condition still. Since I only knew about the trail from other trip advisor reviewers I was left to conclude that the management did not want to promote it although I am left wondering why as the view is spectacular and one of the resort's assets. Later on my hike down passing a small shallow pond the tail of a lizard caught my eye. No sooner than I had turned on my camera when it became apparent that it was over two feet long and it scurried out of the water before I had a chance to press the shutter.
After a filling breakfast we were taken into town one of the resort's driver and had a chance to see some of the destruction unleased by typhoon Haiyan aka Yolanda locally. Much of the island although not all seemed to have escaped the worst of it. Some of the worst struck buildings were the ones with metal roofs a opposed to the traditional thatched nipa huts which were probably repaired much more quickly if at all. Our resort was still running on generators however but aside form the drone of the diesel you wouldn't have noticed any difference.
If you are looking for a nice respite from it all then this might suit the bill. Aside from the pool and aforementioned trail there isn't much to do here. WORD OF WARNING: don't expect to be able to pay your bill with a foreign credit card. We tried using 4 different ones and could only pay with a local one.

I have reviewed it twice before, (October 2012 and March 2013) and i really can't add too much to past reviews.
The resort is a peaceful, quiet place, that is absolutely ideal for relaxing.
The staff, as always, are a great group of people who treat you like one of their own, and not just a number like is done at big city hotels !
On my 3 trips to The Philippines since last October, i have stayed a week in Manila, and a week in Coron at Busuanga Island Paradise.
Next time though, i think i may just spend the whole 2 weeks at B.I.P. !!
To see the whole island properly, i advise hiring a motorbike from "Boyet" in Coron Town.
He is a great guy who will help you out with maps, and advice on where to go and what to see.
His rates are unbeatbale (500PHP per day = Approx $12.50AUD), and if hiring for a few days/week, he will give you a discount !
Plan on a ride around the entire island, which will take you less than 8 hours.
Stop at all the tiny Barangays (villages) along the way, and buy a cold drink from the local store.
This is a great opportunity to meet and speak to the locals.
They will welcome you with friendly smiles, as they don't see too many tourists, and seem quite intrigued by us.
Specifically, stop at Santo Nino, wich is about 30k's from Coron Town Proper, and visit Metch at her tiny little Barangay store.
She is a great lady, with a beautiful soul, and an infectious smile.
As always, "Maraming Salamat" to Rina and all the staff at B.I.P. for yet another great stay.
I miss you guys so much, and look forward to my next visit !!
Also the driver taking us to town was very helpful. Its a great place and nice to be away from the town.A lovely setting.
At the reception, we were disappointed to know that they had over booked the hotel and we had no Casitas left. We had booked two casitas for us, two couples. And they offered us the la vista rooms, but checkin at evening. If u wish to stay here, make sure you call them n remind about ur exact booking. The casitas are much better than the la vista rooms for a couple and la vista for families travelling together.
The hotel interiors were good , and the service good too. Good variety in food choices too. Restaurants close at 10pm.
We had a good stay except for the fact that we had to settle for other rooms.. And it was our anniversary :(
It's a good place to stay, but after visiting Coron, I would suggest Dive link resort- waterfront as a good option. There are many lodging n bag packing places too depending on the budget. But Coron is a must visit place if you are travelling in the Philippines. :)

Service was good, the staff were very friendly. Wouldn't call this 5-star service but the simple personalized service made us feel very much at home. My friend even got to see the kitchen and ask for some cooking tips from the cook.
We got hold of their package which already includes all transportation and meals, even the picnic meal during the island hopping. So it was really no stress at all :-)
The resort is not near the beach, so if you want a beachside resort, this is not a place you would get. But it's a great resort for a get-away, where you get the best of both worlds, a relaxing quiet resort in a forest like environment at night, and during the day adventure out in the waters of Coron.
Re location, if you want to visit the town at night, it's a little bit inconvenient as you have to pay for a van fee to take you there. It didn't matter to us as Coron is quite small and we didn't really need to go out there at night.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back.
Foodwise they start you out with a hearty breakfast that keeps you going over lunch and the dinners are nice, though it wasn't the best food I had on the Philippines trip.
The only thing I would say is that it is a bit far from the town itself. I knew that it wasn't on the beach front but I guess I under estimated the distance. once you're back in the resort in the evening there isn't a lot to do, though that was just what I needed on this particular trip - though I think it is worth mentioning.
All in all I would recommend.
(A quick note - I actually travelled March 2010 but there was no option for that on TA).
