The resort is a nice contrast to the bustle of Coron Town and I was pleased to escape here every evening. Riza, Jen and all the other staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They covered all the bookings I needed and ensured I was always well looked after. They even provided me with a kettle.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is average for a resort of this kind. I stuck to things that would be cooked fresh and I finished everything I ordered!
So if you want wild evenings stay in Coron Town. If you want a good nights sleep and a peaceful morning before a day out stay here.

Having been there 6 times now (in the space of 23 months), i think it's fairly safe to say that i absolutely love the place !
Getting there and being there are the easy parts.
Leaving behind a peaceful/tranquil place, and the most beautiful people in the world is the very hard part.
Getting to Busuanga Island is a short 50 minute flight from Manila.
A return flight Manila-Busuanga-Manila costs around $150 Australian.
Busuanga Island Paradise will arrange a van (shared) to pick you up from the airport on arrival, and the van ride to B.I.P. will cost you 150 pesos ($4 Aus), which is billed to your account at B.I.P. (no need to pay the van driver)
Busuanga Island is the type of place where you go to chill out and relax.
The staff at B.I.P. are simply amazing people who will look after you like royalty.
No nightlife to speak of on the island, which is a good thing.
Busuanga Island Paradise is about 12klm from the town centre, and the resort's minivan will take you in there and bring you back again.
If diving from shipwrecks is your thing, then there are several good diving centres in the town that you can arrange a diving trip with.
Similarly, if you want to do a day trip to several of the most stunning islands the world has to offer, then there are plenty of shops in town that can arrange an island hopping day trip for you.
Busuanga Island Paradise is probably the best place to organise this from, as the boat operators they use to take you on your island hopping are the best around.
If you were to ask me to list some "Must Do's", these would be it.....

(1) Island Hopping
(2) Macquinit Hot Springs
(3) Mt Tapyas (terrific views over the island)
(4) Get to know the locals
(5) Chill and relax

I'm happy to hear from anyone who is thinking of going there, but has questions.
I can't guarantee that i'll be able to answer everything, but i'll do my best !

You will NOT be disappointed with a trip to Busuanga Island and a stay at Busuanga Island Paradise.

After 35 years, my husband and I decided to visit our homeland. We've been to several places around the world but this vacation back home was the vacation of a lifetime. We visited a couple of resorts and Busuanga Island Paradise was no doubt, our favorite. The name of the place says it all, a true PARADISE INDEED!!!
The spacious room, nice bedding and bathroom remind me of a home away from home. It is a place to relax without a care in the world. I could sit at the veranda, read my book and listen to music all day long. They have 24 hour wi-fi and we were able to connect with our children anytime we want. The food was fresh and prepared very elegantly and of course, delicious. Kudos to the chef. Full body massage is so affordable, a 90% discount from US price for this service. You can immediately tell that staff were carefully selected and fully trained to provide the best service.Special thanks to our tour guide, Jeric for being so mindful of our fear of deep water and made sure that he was there to protect us at all times.
Island hopping was exciting. The beautiful limestone mountains, the therapeutic hot springs, the twin lagoons, the picnic lunch and snorkeling are just a few of the many highlights of your day. This is truly a majestic place.
We can't wait to come back in a year or two and will take our children, so they too can have a taste of PARADISE!!!

I was there with my classmate friends and we enjoyed every minute of our stay in Busuanga Island Paradise. The food is perfect, the people managing it were all very friendly and very accommodating. I will be bringing my other high school friends in January 2015 to Busuanga. The rooms are clean and spacious for the three of us.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights.
We stayed in Manila and then came to this place.
We were so happy to be surrounded by trees. We enjoyed swimming in a clean swimming pool, having drinks in poolside or at the restaurant, using wi-fi at restaurant or sometimes in the room.

Good: 1. great location in the forest and their compound is clean. I saw some hotels on the way to Coron town on the streets. Maybe closer to town but no green. There is a hill behind hotel where you can have a panorama view. (10min walk on steps) Also there is a forest path where you can go hike. Lots of birds singing and it is very quiet. No motorbike sounds at all. 2. Staffs speak good English and try to help you. They seem to know your schedule and they are attentive. 3. Close enough to town to head for beach trips. 4. Big bathroom in each Casita. Hot water was always available. (not luke-warm, very warm) 5. They will only accept max 60 people. It is not a huge place. When we were there, probably 5 or 6 families/couples. Very quiet.

Not so good: 1. Restaurant was not a high light. Although they have variety of food both Philippino and Western. Breakfast was rather simple. Buffet with hot coffee, toast, serial, one kind of fruit (different every day) , garlic rice, stir-fried vegetable... eggs are cooked on your request. Still open-air restaurant was a nice and we ate all meals besides those we had at beaches.

I think you can spend a very eco-friendly but convenient (air-con, a little slow but wi-fi, cable TV, hot water) life there. Not a 5-star hotel but good value for money. We felt very lucky that we found this hotel. So convenient to visit beautiful beaches from Coron town. I highly recommend this place and we probably go back again soon.

We arrived at Busuanga Island Paradise (BIP), and were immediately greeted by the friendly receptionist, Ate Trini. I was at first a little concerned how private the place seemed to be, but it ended up that that was exactly what I needed! After being shown to Casita 3, my husband and I just relaxed the rest of the day.

Next day, we scheduled a same day trip to Coron Island on a banca. It was easy to do, and after breakfast, our driver Bhoc (who is THE FASTEST driver EVER...like...F1 cars, eat your heart out!) drove us to town along with our tour guide Jerik. Jerik is cute as a button, and knows soooo much about the area, he's always telling you something interesting. He's also extremely friendly and helpful, and will always warn you of slippery rocks, sharp corals, and sea urchins.

After an amazing boat tour, the rooms are relaxing, and the quietness of the resort helps you to really unwind. Usually, the only sound you fall asleep to is crickets, a frog or two, and birds. No Jeepneys, tricycles or roosters!! If you want to take a shower, the bathrooms are uber clean. I remember coming home once, and the entire floor of the bathroom had just been mopped!

The snack bar is awesome if you just want a mango shake and some fries, and the restaurant serves up authentic Filipino meals. Recommend the chicken adobo, for sure, and some fried danggit for breakfast!

The Calauit Safari is worth the 8000 pesos they will charge you. Just the experience alone of careening down winding dirt roads at 4:30am with only the moonlight to guide you is worth it! But when you finally get to the sanctuary...giraffes and zebras abound, and you get to feed the giraffes, too!

Overall, the privacy of the place is something to be treasured. Who cares if there's no internet...you're not there to surf the web!! No cable tv, either...but again, who cares, you're there to relax! Let the staff cater to you (always 'yes po' from them), and enjoy, appreciate, and most importantly: EXPERIENCE the simplicity of life on the island, and like it did to me, it may change your perspective on things, and make you a happier person when you head home.

Thanks to all of you at BIP! Special thanks to Trini, Bhoc, and Jerik!

This place is in a very nice quiet and peaceful setting. The rooms are a good size with large comfortable bathrooms. The food was quite good and served promptly when you sat down. The pool is a very refreshing feature. People concerned about security will feel safe here because there are cameras everywhere.

Busuanga Island Paradise by my estimates is about 25 minutes from Coron. The hotel has good air-conditioned vans that will take you anyplace you want at any time. That is unless there are other gests that need to go places also. You end up car-pooling because it is unrealistic to take a trike to and from the resort. This is not a terrible thing unless you are trying to get to the airport to catch a flight. We missed our first flight out of Busuanga to Manila because other gests where taking a slightly latter flight and were not ready to leave when we needed to. Luckily I got on a later flight with another airline.

I made several changes to our stay at the Island Paradise when we first arrived. I needed and additional room because there was one more person in our party and I changed some of the tours around. I requested an estimate on the final cost and for four days I could not get one. The checkout process took hours and they were chasing me down the driveway for a plate of french-fries that my son had ordered and they forgot to put on the bill just before we missed our flight.

I paid far more money for this place then the other two that we stayed at on our trip to Palawan and the other two were far more convenient. There is also no internet available. Next time I would try some place else.

We were very happy during out stay at Busunga Island Paradise. For 3 or the 4 days during out stay, we were the only guests, so it was very much a personal and secluded stay.

Room: we were in Casita 5; rustic, independent and comfortable. We got to choose our room because we were the only ones there. The air conditioning was good at keeping the heat out. When I noticed the small gaps in the windows and wall around the air con, I was initially worried about mosquitos getting into the room, but experienced no such problem. There were ants in the bathroom, but that was fine as the problem seems to be everywhere. The shower was warm after you let the water run for a bit. The toilet broke on the last day of our stay, so it wasn't a big problem fo us, and I'm confident the staff woud have attened to it if we had brought it to their attention.

Hotel: there was a big clean pool, but I didn't actually get in because we spent much of our time during the day at the beach and swimming in the sea. There was also a walk you could do to get a good view of the surrounding area, but we stopped a little into the walk because there were too many mosquitos. In general, the whole area, not just the hotel, had many mosquitos. Due to the isolation of the hotel, it was good they had a DVD library and a large collection of National Geographic magazines to borrow. The were some renovtions going on while we were there, but the noise and intrusion was kept to a minimum.

Food: delicious large meals. our biggest complements to the chef for the chilli crab she cooked for us. we ate all our meals at BIP. The staff were also very accomodating and would ask us where we would like to take our meals; either in the pavillion, around the pool or on the verandah of our room. The bad thing is there are not nearby options for food. The staff were very accomodating when I told them I did not eat read meat.

Location: very isolated inland. About 15mins drive from the main town. So there is little to do around there exept relax, read and watch DVDs. But that suited us because our days were planned with activities and it was good to relax at night. The is NOT the hotel for people wanting nightlife.

Activities: all activities were very good and good value. first day we did the half day Coron town tour; included a good walk up to the top of a mountain for a awsome view of Coron island. second day did island hopping; had our own guide, very relaxing day with a good walk to Barracuda lake. third day went scuba diving, very good instuctor.

Staff: the receptionist was fantastic. she was genuinely helpful, warm, and hospitable. The resturant staff were great too.

After spending some nights in the hectic of Coron town I was more than happy to find this nice resort. It is located about half way between Coron town and the airport and it offeres a free shuttel to and from Coron town. The resort kindly sent its free shuttle after I gave them a call. The place was very tranquile, green and peaceful. A nice pool is placed in the middle. The food I had was good. My room I had was spacious and comfortable. The buildings here are not brand new but well maintained. All staff members I met were friendly and helpful The only disadvantage was the wifi which is only available at the restaurant and not on the rooms. Considering that the resort offers free pick ups and shuttle service to Coron town this is for me the place of choice.

No. It's far from the main town and makes exploring the town difficult. The resort is quiet, peaceful and beautiful and the food is delicious but expensive.

Food was average. Fine for 1 night, but ventured into Coron for the second night. We did tour A, which we booked through reception, and highly recommend it.
