Stayed here for 2 nights and was immediately disappointed on arrival. Entrance is through the back gate which I wasnt expecting. Hotel receptionist was friendly enough and our room wasnt ready so she switched us to a different room which was. We booked a pool access room - would not recommend. Pool is in shade from about 12pm onwards. Chairs in our room were rusty. Our patio door was temperamental and would not lock sometimes. The lock appeared damaged probably from force of people trying to lock it. The bigger problem- ANTS! army of ants crawling across our bedroom floor and up bathroom walls all day and night. There is a gap under the front door of the room of about 1cm allowing them to come and go freely from outside. One night we had enough and put towels down to block the gap, they still got in. It was really off putting and i didnt feel comfortable in the room as a result. Breakfast was ok. Having to order it the night before was annoying and pointless. The choices are basic and should not require pre ordering. The receptionist that took our order was so rude also, as if we were interrupting her for ordering. This was a different girl than the one who checked us in. We had to ask for toilet roll twice. The room was not made up during our stay so it was never replaced. The hotel looks spotlessly clean in photos and we just did not feel clean the whole time we were there. Unfortunately the hotel was full, we heard the receptionist say to another couple who appeared looking for a room when we were checking in, so we did not bother to request a move as it couldn't have been facilitated anyway. Wouldnt recommend. It certainly doesnt look brand new like it is called in description.…
Great hotel good location, very clean beautiful staff nothing is a problem for anybody You can walk to and from town would definitely recommend to our friends and family Thanks bluewave for a great stay
The bluewave is a kind of getaway from all the noise in the center of the city. You are very close to the cathedral so you will hear the bells at the beginning and end of each mass but that's the most noise you will hear and we went for New Year's Eve. The building itself is very beautiful and kept clean. The pool is nice although smaller than I expected. We had a room on the 2nd floor. The family rooms next to the pool seem to sell very fast. The breakfast is simple but delicious and they have it ready as soon as you sit down (as long as you have ordered it the day before). The dinners here are also very good and the staff was very accommodating when I was feeling sick and let me have a water pitcher in my room. The view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing, especially in the morning. It looks like a postcard. The bed is like a cloud. It absorbs all movement and you won't wake up the entire night. Loved it! Usually for tours you will be the last picked up and the first dropped off which was nice for us. All in all we had a great time here and can't wait to come back to Coron again.…
Generally good experience with positive front desk experience. Decent pool and rooftop restaurant with a nice view. Decently priced so relatively good value. Location is strategic and very close to town centre yet not right bang in the middle. Good experience but not wow. Would recommend to friends.
We stayed at this hotel between 14-17Dec19. The rooms are extremely small but quite neat an clean and very well maintained. The place is very centrally located in Coron and everything was within a walking distance.Breakfast was very basic eggs, fruits, bacon, sausages etc. The restaurant had an amazing view. The service was great, the staff including the security was extremely prompt and receptive. Lastly my wife had availed the spa services here and she swears that it was the best so far in our short stay at Philippines.
