The bluewave is a kind of getaway from all the noise in the center of the city. You are very close to the cathedral so you will hear the bells at the beginning and end of each mass but that's the most noise you will hear and we went for New Year's Eve.

The building itself is very beautiful and kept clean. The pool is nice although smaller than I expected. We had a room on the 2nd floor. The family rooms next to the pool seem to sell very fast.

The breakfast is simple but delicious and they have it ready as soon as you sit down (as long as you have ordered it the day before). The dinners here are also very good and the staff was very accommodating when I was feeling sick and let me have a water pitcher in my room. The view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing, especially in the morning. It looks like a postcard.

The bed is like a cloud. It absorbs all movement and you won't wake up the entire night. Loved it!

Usually for tours you will be the last picked up and the first dropped off which was nice for us.

All in all we had a great time here and can't wait to come back to Coron again.

My journey in Busuanga led me to the conveniently located Bluewave Hotel in Coron Town, a property that offers a blend of comfort and value that is hard to overlook. This hotel may not boast extravagant amenities, but it excels in delivering a satisfying stay with its commendable facilities and services.

One of the highlights of Bluewave Hotel is its swimming pool, a refreshing oasis that provides a delightful respite from the tropical heat. It's an ideal spot for relaxation after a day of exploring the enchanting sights of Coron.

The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, a feature I particularly appreciated for the convenience and good start it provided each day. The rooms, while not luxurious, are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay without breaking the bank.

However, prospective guests should note a couple of considerations. The hotel's proximity to a church means that you might encounter some noise disturbances on Sunday mornings, a factor that might affect light sleepers. Additionally, the swimming pool closes at 9 PM, which can be a bit disappointing for those looking to enjoy a late-night swim.

In conclusion, Bluewave Hotel is a solid choice for travelers seeking practical accommodations in the heart of Coron Town. It strikes a fine balance between affordability and quality, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious visitors who do not want to compromise on comfort and convenience.

Clean, amazing service, walkable to most parts of Coron Town. We were greeted with fresh juice upon arrival. The staff helped us with our bags, offered to arrange our ferry tickets, and organized an early tricycle for us in the morning to get to the dock. Bummed we missed the breakfast, because it was probably really good, but they very kindly sent us off with a snack and water bottles. Love the white and blue aesthetic. Everything was clean and well cared-for.

Stayed here for 2 nights and was immediately disappointed on arrival. Entrance is through the back gate which I wasnt expecting.

Hotel receptionist was friendly enough and our room wasnt ready so she switched us to a different room which was.

We booked a pool access room - would not recommend. Pool is in shade from about 12pm onwards. Chairs in our room were rusty. Our patio door was temperamental and would not lock sometimes. The lock appeared damaged probably from force of people trying to lock it.

The bigger problem- ANTS! army of ants crawling across our bedroom floor and up bathroom walls all day and night. There is a gap under the front door of the room of about 1cm allowing them to come and go freely from outside. One night we had enough and put towels down to block the gap, they still got in. It was really off putting and i didnt feel comfortable in the room as a result.

Breakfast was ok. Having to order it the night before was annoying and pointless. The choices are basic and should not require pre ordering. The receptionist that took our order was so rude also, as if we were interrupting her for ordering. This was a different girl than the one who checked us in.

We had to ask for toilet roll twice. The room was not made up during our stay so it was never replaced.

The hotel looks spotlessly clean in photos and we just did not feel clean the whole time we were there. Unfortunately the hotel was full, we heard the receptionist say to another couple who appeared looking for a room when we were checking in, so we did not bother to request a move as it couldn't have been facilitated anyway.

Wouldnt recommend. It certainly doesnt look brand new like it is called in description.

The hotel was in a quiet area close to the town center. The rooms were clean and the matress was excellent. Breakfast was of limited choice but was well cooked and presented. An excellent view of Coron from the open air roof top dining area. They arranged our airport transfer for us at 250 pesos per person. We enjoyed our stay here. We were able to hire their tricycle and driver for our excursions. The driver was excellent and really helpful

This hotel is visually beautiful with its blue and white Santorini vibes. The rooms are basic which is to be expected for the price but they are very nice. They are clean and the air conditioning is decent.

The staff are very friendly and are happy to help you.
The breakfast was good, you choose what you want the night before and its freshly served on the rooftop. The views from the rooftop are stunning. Great to enjoy whilst eating breakfast.

Location is good. Just a short walk from the main street where you can find all the restaurants and 'bars' (don't expect much nightlife)

Overall great stay and would stay again if we came back to Coron.

Generally good experience with positive front desk experience.
Decent pool and rooftop restaurant with a nice view.
Decently priced so relatively good value.
Location is strategic and very close to town centre yet not right bang in the middle.
Good experience but not wow. Would recommend to friends.

For a 3-star hotel, I have to say I was impressed. The hotel overall was pretty standard. The rooms are large, good for multiple guests and the amenities were fairly average. What really stood out however was the service. The service was incredibly friendly and at par from what you could expect from a 5-star. Since I was in Coron to explore the nearby islands, very little time was spent at the hotel. When time was spent at the hotel it was simply for sleeping and showering and it did the job.

They do have a spa onsite which my friend and I took advantage of daily. I highly recommending enjoying their massages as they are incredible and affordable.

Bluewave was perfect for exploring Coron. I definitely recommend :)

We booked for suite room to get two big beds (as shown in their photo). Yes their are two beds but upon knowing the other bed had no beddings nor pillow because the room is only good for two so they will put beddings only on one bed! The room is crampy with no available cabinets or lockers to put in our belongings. The bathroom is dirty and tarnished!
Plus they will charge you for extra person (since we where a family of four with 2 children) which is almost half the price of what we have paid for one room! So we decided to get another pension house for our children (mind you our children are aged 12 & 7 which usually being weived for other hotels).
We where supposedly to enjoy Coron for a family recreation but on the first day we where already pissed off because of this hotel.
With the price you are paying better to look for another option since this property is equivalent to a pension house.
The staff are accomodating though but Coron people are nice so better look for another place since almost all locals are warm and friendly.

I'm writing a review here, because the website doesn't have an email address where I can send my concerns directly. This is a very nice property with plenty of amenities, however I experienced something extremely disturbing that management should know about.

During a recent stay, I checked in with family and friends. Upon arrival, only my room, which was registered to my mother, was ready. My mother agreed to allow our friends to store their bags in our room and off we went to tour the island.

After being out all day, some of our group returned to the hotel. Unfortunately, my mother was not one of those who came back. After waiting and discussing, I agreed to call around the area to look for my mom. While on the phone, someone from the group (who I had not met, but our mothers were attending a reunion, so knew each other, but weren't close) asked the front desk to open up my room, and I asked the agent not to do this. Unbeknownst to me, this person in my group approached someone from housekeeping and was able to access the room.

This is HUGE no no and an invasion of privacy. It's infuriating that identification was not requested and that the room was opened just because someone requested it, despite arriving as a group. Since the room was registered only in my mother's name, even I should not have been able to get into the room.

This is the kind of incident that would be fit for a lawsuit if anything had gone missing or happened in that room, and should be addressed IMMEDIATELY by management. If this is how the property will continue to operate (violating the trust and privacy of its guests), I refuse to recommend it to any of my friends or family. Please fix this issue and educate your staff at once.

When you land, there are shuttles at the airport that will drop you off at the hotel. Then you can reserve the shuttle back to the airport at the front desk. You pay at the hotel.

After taking off from Busuanga airport, there are shuttle buses waiting just outside. Just ask for Bluewave Hotel and you will be directed to designated shuttle bus. You Php 150 per person at the hotel. It is around 30-minute drive.
