The owner and receptionist was awesome and very helpful. Affordable and they're offer tours also. Free use of videoke upstairs. Thank you very much to all of the staffs of K-heights Inn! I hope we come back. God bless!
We checked in yesterday and were so disappointed, I dont usually do bad reviews but this deserves one. Worst accommodation! Pricey room rates but bad facilities. We booked a double bed room for Php1,200++ via agoda with last minute discount (our flight was cancelled due to bad weather and we need an immediate and affordable place to stay). Upon arrival we checked in to a double room at lower ground floor, its dirty, creepy and smelly. We were so disappointed and starving at the same time, so we decided to take a lunch/dinner first (coz its 3:30pm already). We noticed that the AC was defective and there are leaks on the wall, so we requested for transfer at the GF but the staff told us that there will be additional charge (P500+) since the room at GF are all two double beds, so we declined. We let them see the AC issue and leak. It took them long before attending back to our concern so me and wifey got irritated and ask for a refund and we'll just check out. That's the time they offer to transfer at GF rooms and told us to just use one bed since there are two beds in the room (it pacified us a bit). Still the room condition is the same, its just bigger. Don't be deceived by their good reviews and photos on social media/internet (coz I was) . These are all bogus. Facility is bad. Most of the breakfast choices are not available. The room has a creepy old vibe, poorly maintained, SMELLS AWFUL, lighting is bad and window locks are defective. Amenities are poor, no wifi and no cable (as offered on sites, there should be). I'll leave it all here. Dont ruin your stay in the beautiful island of Coron. Its just AWFUL and NOT WORTH IT.…
Firstly the staff were lovely and very helpful which was delightful, they understand our concerns and did all they could to help. However, the rooms are so damp and musky it’s horrible. Within a hour in the room I had a tight chest. They moved us to a different room which was much better than before but still not great. We managed to stay 2 out of the 5 nights we booked as I couldn’t take any more damp smell. Other comments: - The toilet seat was broken and you couldn’t sit on it without it cutting your leg. - During the night people were hanging around outside the window. My phone was hacked whilst being here which may be a coincidence but can’t be sure. - Breakfast was very basic - No top sheet given on the bed so you gave nothing to cover yourself with. As we left earlier than expected the receptionist was very helpful and gave us a refund of the nights we didn’t stay which we were so grateful for. …
Stayed there for 3 days. When we checked in one of the staff told us that therw cleaning service after 2 days, which not happend. So no one clean our rooms for 3 days, no towles, no toilet papar and after we asked they only gave us towels. The room itself is good and really big but the toilet really really dirty. Molds in the toilet and ita so small you can barely move. The location was good, you need to walk in a hill for 5 min but its fine because its in the center. The tour prices in the place is much more expensive than all the travel agancy so not recommend to book there but only because of the price.
K Heights in is just a block away from Mt. Tapyas stairway making it much cheaper for us because we dont need to ride a tricycle or book a tour just to visit the mountain. The staff in K Heights are also very kind. They gave us whatever we requested and even allowed us to use the dining area even though we didnt get their breakfast service. The only cons in this property is the washroom's broken flush. But all in all, it is still a bang for the buck. You get what you paid for and what you need.
We stayed at room 108 for 3 nights. The first thing we noticed when we entered the room was the musty odor. There were molds on the ceiling! The staff/management tried to conceal it by sticking two sheets of bondpaper on the moldy spots. Plus, there were more molds on the bathroom ceiling! The bathroom door won't even close since the door(wood) is starting to decay and is getting out of shape. The hand shower kept on falling-off from its broken holder. The window curtains were very dusty. The closet was useless (rotten wood). Our room had twin beds. The other bed didn't have any pillows/sheets. When we requested for the other bed's blanket, we were asked to pay 50 pesos. The breakfast options were very limited (about 5-6 options only.. depending on what's available). The AC remote control was not working. TV is as small as your regular desktop monitor. We payed for additional beach towels - they were very dusty. The only PROs on this place was: - hot & cold shower - good A/C (remote didn't function well) - location (walking distance to restaurants) The rest was dreadful.…
I found K Heights Inn through Airbnb and saw that the reviews there were good so I booked a room for four. When our party had an additional person, they quick to answer to my queries. Upon arriving in Busuanga Airport they were very caring and asking if we had arranged transfers, if not, they would provide for us. When we reached the place, we were allowed early check in as the room was not occupied. The place itself was okay, it's a little dated, but it's clean and it has enough space and a good bed. The bathroom though smelled off, probably because of the mat they provided. They also have breakfast included and you can choose from Filipino items (tapa, tocino, longganisa with rice) to Continental (bread) to pancakes and tell them what to prepare for you the day before as well as the time to serve it. Included is a couple of fruits, 3-in-1 coffee or tea. The staff were attentive to our requests and our queries during our stay, and they were very helpful in getting trikes or e trikes for us. It was just challenging to find transportation as trikes would often overcharge us or they would decline when we tell them where we're staying as its located at Mt. Tapyas. But aside from that, for around 400 per head a day, I think you get what you pay for. …
Don’t really know where to start... Food:No juices for breakfast, the fact that we have to order what we gonna eat the night before( you can’t change your mind in the morning) Breakfast usually served cold as they prepare your eggs or pancakes 10 Minutes before wake you up. No AC just a fan available No laundry service The last day when we came back from our tour, we didn’t found any bed sheets in our room, so we ask the reception who said: we run out of bed sheets... so we had to sleep without. The staff don’t really seems to care anyway. WiFi works in middle of the night when nobody is using it. Just the location is good nothing else!
We stayed here last Feb 01-04 during our last visit in coron. It's a good place to rest after a whole day of island tours. The linen and room was clean and the rate we got was inclusive of breakfast which was a bargain. My only complain would be that the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. When we asked their housekeeping staff to clean our room while we had breakfast the new rug smelled of urine as well. The staff were helpful and assisted us in getting tricycles. The only downside of the place was it's location. It was located on the foot of Mt. Tapyas and the roads going there were mostly uphill. It only became an issue because we couldn't get a tricycle because drivers would always decline on giving us a ride. Most of the time we ate at places nearby and had to walk back, although it was a short distance we would find ourselves catching our breath because of the incline. Although the restaurants in the area were pretty good and there were a lot of convenience stores around. Tricycles would often over charge us and we would agree only because it was the 5th or 6th one that we would flag down to accept us. …
We stayed there 6 Nights. Bad experience: We got dirty towels, had a dirty bathroom with several cockroaches and is smelled bad (damp sour smell). Flush didn’t work half time. Same with the AirCon. You cannot expect to sleep longer than 7am, since it gets really loud at around 4am already. By 7am someone knocks at your door to tell you your breakfast (which you have to order between 6 and 7pm) is ready, which you ordered for 8am.... Staff is rather rude and doesn’t speak English well. Location is fine. There is no WiFi. Highly overpriced for what we paid for (around 30 USD). Would not recommend...
