The riverhouse is truly one of the best places I have stayed in in the world. The views are amazing, the owners and staff are so hospitable, the food is fantastic and the location was just so peaceful and quiet. Absolutely amazing getaway.

We found the River House while looking for a nice place not to far from the airport as our other hotel didn’t have availability yet. We are so happy about that now as the River House was the best way to start our holiday: the crew was so warm and welcoming and the place very relaxing and in the middle of nature. We loved our little cabin and balcony and all the nature sounds at night (even the very noisy gecko’s and birds). The firefly tour was lovely too. Thank you River House crew!

Absolutely fantastic!! Judith and her husband are the most amazing and genuine hosts! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The Riverhouse is a bit out of the way from town so we had all our meals in-house and we couldn’t be happier with the vast menu, and delicious, home made quality of everything we ordered. The views from the breakfast terrace were stunning especially at sunrise.
Kayaking on the river was a serene experience, but our private boat out to a secluded island with a private beach was definitely the highlight of our stay! They even packed us a picnic lunch to enjoy on the beach! Judith even helped us book massages right in our room. Overall such a relaxing, serene visit for our family! We will definitely return!

Judith is the very best hostess who will go out of her way to make sure you have a wonderful, welcoming experience not only at her guesthouse but the whole area. She's so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. She scheduled a night boat ride on the Decalachao River which runs through her property to see the fireflies, stars (literally out of this world), and luminescent plankton. I was heading to another spot the next day and she went out of her way to contact the hotel to arrange my boat pick up at the Decalachao pier and arranged transport there for me and my luggage (and on the return trip too). The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the views of the river and surrounding area were beautiful, and the food was generous and delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and hope to return someday soon!

We were lucky enough to book our accommodation in Coron at The Riverhouse. From the moment we arrived to when we left we were welcomed by friendly smiles and hospitality plus. Judith (the owner) helped us out with anything we needed and we planned a dugong tour which was absolutely incredible. The location was perfect for us and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and everything was perfect. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Bing who looked after us. The food was fresh and everything we ate each night was delicious and varied. We'll never forget our stay at The Riverhouse and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Coron and we would love to return and stay again. We can't thank Judith and her staff enough for their hospitality.

We stayed here for 3 nights! The staff were very warm and friendly! The food was always delicious. They organized a diving tour for us with the Dugong Dive Center and gave us breakfast and lunch packages. There are also lots of big geckos, fruit bats, monkeys and much more for animal lovers! The wifi was a bit weak and the credit card machine didn't work, but that wasn't a problem. They told us that it was the aftereffects of Corona, it should work again soon! All in all, our stay there was really nice. We can recommend it to everyone!

The Riverhouse is a gem of a place to stay. It's nestled above the mangrove of the Decalachao River and the views are very atmospheric. The food is extremely well prepared and tasty, and the owner has given some thought to presentation, providing cloth napkins and nice layouts. There are a few things to do in the area, for example you can hire a scooter and go up the coast, or rent a kayak from the Riverhouse.

location is realyy top ! don't expect to find any stores in the neighbourhood ! the vieuw is amazing ! beautifull sunrise the tours they offer a great ! ( island hopping ) and not expensive ! The food is ok ! not great ,but ok ! most of the time they have wine or coke zero (not always ) the only negative is that they close the restaurant at 9 pm . So you have the feeling that they want you out of the restaurant before 9 pm . rooms are beautiful ! fridge ,sateliet tv , it takes a few minutes beforte you get hot water . nice terras with beautiful view . very helpful and friendly staff ! I defenetly want to go back one day !

Very good value for money in a fairly idyllic location overlooking the river with very attentive and pleasant staff. Access to several activities (diving, fishing, market visit, etc.) organized with the help of the owner Judith who takes great care of the customers. A delicious chili and garlic crab.

Best stay in the Philippines! Surrounded by nature with a wonderful view of the river. Excellent for those who want to dive to see the dugongs and the Busuanga North Reef (collaborates with the Dougon Dive Center). Don't miss the night river tour to see the fireflies. The cuisine is also excellent as well as the kindness of all the staff. A place that leaves you wanting to return many times!

Hi there,
It's not really difficult to get to Coron Town, just takes a while, about 45 mins. There are no public buses, etc. The resort there will have to arrange a vehicle/motorcycle for you. Yes, they pick you up to and from airport, for a charge. Very secluded, no stores nearby. You can walk to a town nearby but it only has a school, I think. It's the country, just farmers out there.
