The dorm was nice because you had your own light and there were curtains for privacy. The included breakfast was good. Each dorm has its own toilet and shower. It was sad that there wasn't really a nice space to sit except for the roof terrace. The wifi did not work in the rooms so you had to stand in the hallway. The receptionist was nice and helped us navigating the town. One tip: don't make the key so big! It's annoying to take with you.
Very cheap room, with free filling breakfast. Nice rooftop view. Service is also great, they are all helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, there seem to be a very weak signal inside the rooms. Wifi does work but not consistent. Although water pressure is good, there seem to be some foul smell at the shower. Not that bad just a bit funky. Bed is super comfortable for the dorm room and the privacy curtains really makes a difference. The room is also cold, they have nice warm blankets. Overall, i will still stay here when I'm in Coron. Value for money.
We got the deluxe room with AC and a huge bed. We only stayed for a night. The front desk staff was accommodating given that we arrived early, let us use the toilet to change clothes for the tour and check out early before the 2nd day tour and left our bags at the front desk. It's value for money for the room rate good for two people. The location is in downtown; it is near the market, stores, and tour boats.
Comfortable AC Dorm Superb staffs Decent bed Ideal location Only issue is my dorm at level 2, when the bathroom is not used for some time, the sewage smell will come up from the pipes. Not sure about other levels. A small issue, once tap is on and running, the smell is gone.
I stayed in a 4 bed dorm, the bed was clean and there was both air con and fan for ventilation. We usually only put on the air con. They also provided towels upon request, which was nice for a hostel. The room size is pretty small, so you gotta set your expectations right before coming here. They have a small locker and shelving space right next to the bed and also a reading light and a charging point. All very vital for a backpacker. I also liked that they had privacy curtains for each bed, so you can choose to be social or not at all. The toilets are split, one is for the toilet bowl only, and the other is for the shower only. The space in both toilets, is really small, but enough space to do your business and shower as well. Again, it's a hostel so one can't expect it to be any bigger. My only complaint was that the shower was quite smelly on the day I checked in, and I informed the front desk about it. They took note of my room number and got it cleaned the next morning when the housekeeping staff came in. They provide free breakfast on the rooftop restaurant every morning, and there's a good view of the town. The food is average, and the coffee tastes more like water. (Sorry, I'm a coffee snob) There's not much wifi in the rooms, so you can only surf the internet proper at the reception on the first floor. The staff are all very friendly and always greet you whenever you come in and out of the hostel. It's not a fancy place, and it could do with a bit more brighter lights or repainting here and there, but it's affordable and located right in town. Do expect a lot of noise in the night as it's quite close to the bars and there's going to be traffic right outside the hostel as well. Just bring your earplugs and it'll do the trick.…
The rooms are quite spacious and clean. Breakfast was included and good. Nice view from the rooftop. My only concern is that there was no comfortable area where you can rest while waiting for the check-in at 2pm, especially if your flight is early. Yes, you could eat breakfast for a while or explore the town, but 4-5 hours to spend outside was too long, especially if you'd be having a coron town tour in your afternoon itinerary for your first day (which is the usual itinerary). An area with a comfortable chair or couch with a TV will definitely be appreciated. No cell signal in rooms as well :(
The hotel is very small but clean.we stayed in 4 bedrooms dorm. The washroom was toooo small and room space is very narrow. The rooftop view is only for breakfast. Wifi is not available in the rooms, only at frontdesk or 4th floor.
The location was excellent. Lots of nearby restaurants and bars. They offer complimentary set breakfast, choice of Filipino or Continental. Breakfast could still be improved. Water dispenser is also available at the lodging. Nice sunset view from their rooftop! Highly recommended.
This is the nicest hostel as far as hostels go. I really appreciated the lockers and how spacious they were. The bed was comfortable and the air con did the trick. The breakfast was included and was probably the best free breakfast I've had in the Philippines. There weren't a lot of options but I'm not too picky when it comes to free food. The wifi is non-existent in the rooms and is best on the rooftop terrace. The view from the terrace was amazing! The sunset from there was my favorite part. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The plumming is garbage and our toilet plugged multiple times. The location was great. Coron isn't a huge place so it took maybe five mins to get to where you do the tours. Overall a nice place to stay!
My boyfriend and I stayed in a 4 bed dorm room. The bunk beds are nice and large, very comfortable. The beds had big lockers built in. Great Air-con. We also had a toilet and shower in our room which was nice and clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Good location over all. Only downer was no WIFI. We had to go to cafe's and purchase things to use the wifi to book flight and other accommodations coming up. Over all, I'd recommend staying. FYI it is a quiet accommodation, not social.
