Good place!

After some bargaining we got a good price for a private room for 3 persons (breakfast included).
The hotel is luckily NOT close to the waterfront. The other accommodation we saw was next to the smelly polluted sea, build next to the mangroves, with heaps of mosquitoes.
Lola can help you to book boat tickets much cheaper. Nice rooftop for a lovely sunset.

We went to the hotel without research about it but the manager kindly showed us a room for 2 pers. with privat bathroom and two beds + fan, and we agreed on a price (he said p800 but we got it for p500). Room clean and free toilet paper and towels. No cleaning while we were there so not so clean in the end. Quiet area. BUT the last day we saw on the internet that there is free breakfast at the hotel and he didnt tell us that. Not cool!!

I spent few nights with a friend in Kimberly's Hotel, which offered quiet, clean, hot water and fan or aircon rooms in a perfect location 20 seconds from main road so isolated from street noise and with an amazing view on terrace roof to see sunset on the bay!!!

Nice breakfast included for very affordable price per night and huge common part under high roof to tak it!

But best of all is the acommodating staff and owner kindness, Lolita an experienced host, listening for all questions or inquiries and helping for booking islands hoping tours, vans to airport, etc.. She also took time to brang us to her restaurant at first night by tricycle.. and it was yummy :)

Will definitively come back again, no hesitations!!

We made very bad experiences at Kimberlys Swiss Hotel. At the beginning she was nice, so far so good!

Someone has stolen my running shoes in the hotel, directly from our room. After confronting her with the lost she called me a lieer and turned out very agressive. She forced me to open my bag, otherwise she would have called the police. After we checked my bag I asked her to call the police now. Then she kicked us out of the hotel. So please be very carefull with this place!

We stayed at Kimberlys for two nights because we met the lovely owner, Lulita, the night before and had no place to stay. She gave us a great price, a friendly smile and some fantastic rooms for little money.

The hotel is located a bit far away from the main street, but takes no less than 3 to 4 minutes on a motorbike og Tricycle. If you are looking for a place that doesnt reek of rot or gets you that dodgy feeling, this is a great option

While billed as a "Hotel", its actually a budget inn. It is not located on the main road; you have to pass a narrow alley and a basketball court to get to the place. The place is enclosed by a gate, no security guard secures the place. The room is just good enough to sleep in. The toilet had a non-working lavatory, hot and cold shower was available. Bed is just a thin foam mattress. 1000 peso Aircon room included free set breakfast. To activate the aircon, you have to tell the Manager, as the on-switch is connected at his office. Wifi can be accessed at the common area (i.e., outside room). Manager does not smile and does not look accommodating to guests.

We stay there for 3 nights, the room was smelly like mole, we didn't have a window for fresh air. The bed was not so soft. The shower was OK. But besides that, the hotel was very average.

Only for backpacker on a budget.

I guess we got all you can expect for 800 pesos. The room had a working AC (although noisy) and a hot shower (although in a otherwise very basic bathroom). The WiFi worked, but wasn't terribly fast.

The room does have a window, but it gives a view of the atrium, which they've now closed of mostly (as opposed to the management pictures posted here), so you don't really get any daylight to wake up to.

The bed wasn't long enough, so I had to lay slightly diagonally, but that happens to me more often in Asia. The sheets had some holes and tears in them. The place wasn't very clean, but nothing ever is in Asia. The included breakfast was very basic.

The really nice thing about this place is the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a magnificent sunset and enjoy a beer or two (bring your own)! See the pictures of the view attached.

I booked a room directly - agreed price 1200,- php incl breakfast, and hotel VAT. And by check out the old man (I think im the Manager) tried to charge me VAT one more time.
I was there 6 days, and the room wasnt cleaned even once. Toilet was not working - Aircon, was not working. And the Breakfast, was 1 peace of Toast, 1 peace of Ham, and one fried Egg, and one cup of Coffee.
Even its low season - the Price is to high for the quality.

1000php for an aircon room with functioning ensuite. I had a few issues, broken toilet, pillows too hard, but these were sorted out very quickly. To turn off the aircon I had to stand on a chair. It's nice enough and quiet. Problem is that as other newer accommodation becomes available older establishments like this will suffer if they don't keep up. Walking distance to the town and the dive shops.
