Micasa Lodge, our stay at Coron.. The location is good with the main street at a walking distance and the rooms are good too. They are small, but clean and well maintained.. Our room was 2 flights up, so make sure u don't forget anything.. They have Wi-Fi in public areas, room service, hot water in shower, complimentary tea and coffee at the reception area.. Breakfast was included, but since we are vegetarians they just had bread butter and bananas for the 3 days we were there.. The hotel staff was not friendly or warm at all.. Its like you can't ask for anything and they don't even want to listen to u.. We definitely don't recommend this Hotel.. Overall and absolutely value for money, but not for hospitality..

Excellent hotel. Room was big and comfy bed. Shower was big with hot and cold water. Tv had a range of channels if that’s your thing. Aircon worked and quiet room. Friendly staff - excellent breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the Coron Bay. Would easily stay here again. 5min walk into town. Ideal location. I suggest to book on their own website - it’s cheaper than other travel sites. I only paid 35$ AUD per night, compared to others would stared 80$. Easily stay again :))

I booked online in this hotel because it says that it has a free breakfast. When your in coron, make sure to get a hotel that has a free breakfast so it will not be hassle on your part since the tour will start at 8am. On the day we arrived, The information says that there is one room left and it was reserved for us (we were very relieved about that). As she gave the room key, no one assisted us. None of them even help us carry our luggage. The breakfast were always arroz caldo, boiled egg, pandesal, coffee and juice. For five days we were in that hotel, there's no change in the menu for breakfast. If you want to have rice, then you'll pay for 150 and they will cook it for you. The toiletries were only shampoo andd toothpaste. But when They clean the room, they fill our toiletries with shampoo, tissue, toothpaste and a soap. Their wifi is not that fast and the room is not sound proof. You can hear people outside and if you'll gonna check-in in this hotel, make sure that the window were all close because in our room, the windows are not close and we didnt check it before we went out for dinner. We just check it when we are ready for sleeping. All windows were open and the other window cannot be locked so I tried to call the attention of the hotel so it can be fixed. With this, I will not recommend this hotel and it's not worth the money you'll be paying.

This place was decent value with a nice clean room that was quiet with aircon and private bathroom. Security staff were super lovely but the staff at the front desk were a bit miserable and often on their phones. There is hot and cold water available to drink on all floors. Breakfast was gross so I would go somewhere else. Coffee kong in town is a good choice and costs 15 pesos for one or two of you to get there in 2 minutes

I am very satisfied with my accommodation. I arrived 7am and check in is 2pm. But the lady receptionist told me that i can have early check in. She also helped me with the island tour whose pick up time is 8am just in time. I entered my room and i was delighted it was spacious, clean, cozy. Bed is firm and soft and i have 4 comfy pillows. Toilet and bath is clean , well lit and no smell and there is a bidet. There is a sofa, cabinet, flat TV with cable. There is hot and cold shower and pressure is strong My accommodation came with a free breakfast. Breakfast is located at the rooftop where you get a very good view of mountains and the port. Breakfast has the typical filipino dish- danggit, fried rice , fried egg. Staff are helpful especially with my tour requests. I am happy with my stay. I will definitely go back to this lodge.

Before we arrived at this Hotel. I have sent email to the hotel to ensure that we will have a nice and quiet room to be able to have memorable stay. However our stay became horrible. First Day, we were downgraded from Diamond Room to Amethysts Room. I have informed the reception but then she pretended nothing happened and informed us that they are fully booked and no Diamond Room Available. how come? well for sure there was a mistake in the hotel side but then we were the one who are affected. of course i demanded for refund. Room is very noisy and has very poor wall quality. Doors were made of plastics. The worst experience we had was we lost money inside the room. It's not a lot of money for some people, but i think 100 euro or Php 6000 is a lot for us and the fact we lost it inside the room that was really terrible. I asked for CCTV review but then the person at the reception said they don't have CCTV and they could not help. We will not recommend you guys to give your keys at the front desk whenever you are going out. We didn't ask for room cleaning because we dont like anyone to go inside our room. still something bad happened. Anyway I also do not recommend the breakfast here. with all the things happened for sure we will not comeback and stay here or we will never ever recommended this hotel to anyone.

We are quite satisfied with our couple room because it is beautiful and welcoming however, they need to improve the others such as our room at the third floor, the room has a bad odor and some of the facilities there us quite rusty and old. The service of ladies in the reception is also good while the guys are not that welcoming.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a problem with the aircon. The staff weren’t helping so we changed our rooms by ourselves. We had two rooms, one for my sister’s family and one for us and my parents. We thought that at least my sister can sleep with her small children. Well then, the staff offered us room downstairs. It was so small that only my parents went there. The staff came at 11 pm to our room and said that we must move also. 11 o clock in the evening! We said that the room is too small, and we are sleeping. They let us stay but the troubles started at the morning. I think the worst thing was, that the staff lied to my sister. They said that when we were checking- inn they told us that one room has a non-functioning aircon. That was not true at all! How can somebody lie like that? Then they wanted to charge the third room. We wanted to speak the manager, but they said that it is not possible. It was until I was super demanding that we got the manager on the phone. She was apologetic and sorted her staff. I felt sorry for the owner. She has a really bad staff. The service was rude all the way. Even the breakfast waiter was rude. This hotel is expensive in an Asian standard, so you would think to have good service. But no. So if you want to feel yourself unwanted, go to this place.

Upon checking in, before being given our keys, told when breakfast is etc, the first thing that happened is that we were accused by the receptionist of not paying the driver of the private van (not affiliated to the hotel) which took us to the hotel from the airport. The van had already left because obviously we had paid and even tipped them. Upon checking out, fabricated charges were added to our bill. The receptionist (different from the one when we checked in) lied, made false accusations and said that he had no power to remove the charges. When I asked if I could speak to somebody who had the power, he refused to let me. He then phoned another off duty receptionist and tried to get me to talk to her to distract the blame from himself which is ridiculous as obviously she can help even less than him. The hotel itself is ok but the staff are rude, stupid and inconsiderate. Staff aside, you can find nicer places for half the price in the town. Coron itself is gorgeous and definitely worth visiting.
