A few months ago we organised a trip to the Philippines this January and we included Coron for a 3 night stay. We booked La Natura resort via Booking.com for their great reviews. By December according to accepted policy the total amount was debited. In January after the eruption of lake Taal vulcano we were forced to cancel all the trip (Lovely Coron was not affected at all but other parts of the trip were). I contacted La Natura and asked about a possible refund. Their general manager offered to do a full refund in case our rooms would be resold. Today I got a message from La Natura general manager informing me they will give me my money back. The reputation of a business is all about the way you respect and take care of your costumers. You acted respectfully with kindness and honesty! Thank you so much and hope to see you soon! Kindest regards, Jose Bastos…
My husband and I and our two small kids stayed in a family room at La Natura resort for five nights over the New Years. We loved everything about this place! It is small, private, quite and well maintained. The rooms are large and clean all with nice view of the garden and lovely pool. The staff led by Gillean are all so friendly and helpful, and helped us plan several private boat trips with their "go to" captain. The resort is about a 15 minute tricycle ride from downtown Coron. This was a big plus for us, because Coron town itself is nothing special, and we loved the quiet location of this lovely resort. We sincerely hope to come back some day.
Really lovely, queit resort in a beautiful jungle location. Yes it's 15min away from the main town, but if this is not an issue for you then I really recommend this place! The price and quality ratio is very good, rooms are basic but nice and not hot at night, food is lovely, service is very attentive, nice pool and they have WiFi.
We really enjoyed our visit at La Natura Resort. Very calming place and nice to just relax. Service is very good and everybody working there are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food and would recommend to have dinner there too.
My Girlfriend and I stayed at this wonderful facility for three nights including a stay on Christmas Day. Unfortunately a tropical cyclone limited our experience in Coron but the Accommodation and the delightful staff made our stay most enjoyable. Would recommend this delightful place to anyone staying in the Coron area. I would again like to thank the staff for making our stay most enjoyable. Graham & Florenda
We stayed at La Natura for four nights. The rooms are very clean and tidy with a comfy big bed. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. It was nice staying a bit out of town away from the noisy motorbikes and horns. It only takes about 15 minutes to get to town by tricycle for 150 pesos anyway. The resort has a really nice natural feel with big trees, nice gardens and lots of birds around. The pool was really nice for a dip at the end of a day of touring. The restaurant is really yummy, was some of the best food we had on our holiday. Had both filipino dishes and authentic italian cuisine. I try to usually just eat local food when travelling but the italian dishes were amazing too. They also did a packed lunch for us when we left since we were travelling on the ferry all day which was really helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the staff there for making our stay so lovely!…
We traveled to Coron two families together (5 kids total) and stayed at this beautiful place. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Giellian at the front desk was very helpful and helped us book boating trips; we took three trips with Jerald (highly recommend him, his number is +639771636303).
For the price, service of the staff exceeded at hotel our expectations. They are all very accommodating, always a step ahead and asks us of our needs. The room is nicely laid out for 3 of us. No fridge but there is service water at dining that you can always get. Food here is also very good and serving is big. Real value for money. Transport to and from town and airport is not a problem, resort will help arrange for you. Because it’s 15 minutes bumpy ride by tricycle we just ended up having all our meals here after our excursions.
La Natura staff is incredibly helpful to organize your early breakfast or to take care about your staying in Coron. Giellian, the lovely manager, can provide you advices where to go or how organize your transportations. We really appreciated the ecofriendly approach of the structure, so don't expect air conditioning or mini fridge in your room. These are not really required. Service water and lovely shakes are available at the bar. The ceiling fans are more than enough to bring some breeze air in the room. Really useful all the mosquitos nets on the main entrance and on the windows. Side note: Giellian helped us to organize ourselves during the typhoon while we were in another island and took care about luggages that we left at La Natura. She was really kind to ship everything with the airplane and to get them on time for our fly back to Europe.…
My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at the hotel. The hotel is about 15 min tricykel ride from town. A really bumpy road - but that just makes the ride more fun. The staff is really kind. Always smiling, asking if they can help with anything and every time we sat in the beautiful garden or stayed in the pool area they came with cold water. The rooms are big and clean and there's warm water in the shower. The restaurant is really god. We tried both philippino and international dishes - nothing to complain about. And: they make a really good mango margarita. The reason why we don't give them 5 out of 5: the kitchen closes for order 20pm and after 9pm you can't order any drinks. And you are not allowed to bring your own food or drinking. We really recommend this place.
