The location is out of the main city but there are on call transport arrangements. The place is good but there are cats and they tends to poop every corner, even in front of your door! You have to be very careful while walking. Another thing is there is no network or wifi inside your room. Only wifi available is in reception. The reception is closed at 9 pm. The breakfast is good.

Our stay at Sofia’s was really great! The rooms are big and clean, the breakfast is great, the garden and the pool are very sweet and the service is really amazing. To be improved: WiFi is extremely bad and juices in such an island should be fresh for breakfast! A part for that it was super.

We stayed there for two nights with our three teenagers. The resort is beautiful, clean, welcoming, excellent rooms and shower, very good service. Easy to arrive into town. Enjoyed it very much!! We had an early flight and the team helped us to get arranged, packed breakfast for us

Located just outside the center of Coron, you will see this beautiful resort. The staffs were friendly, and always smiling, and gave us recommendations that helped us save money and time. It was truly a good experience. We went back home with loads of memories with us.

Simplicity is class. I felt I was just 7year old when I reached this place at 8 in the morning; I recalled the place of relatives who has the same architecture of houses. The playtime is reminished. Then I realized, am in paradise and I have set island tour activity in just 10minutes. The hotel receptionist advised us that check in time is set at 12noon, so we were rushed to the boat. We enjoyed the whole day in Kayangan Lake, Twin Lake, Sunken Chinese ship dive, and 2 more islands; but what impresses us more is the food served by the boatman cooked in style as the food served by other starry resorts. A small but beautifull place just outside the centre of Coron. We really liked the garden scenery here, with a nice pool with a jacuzzi. The service is really good, breakfast and food is really nice. We recommend taking the beef curry! Rooms are nice and clean and have a view over the garden. They are still working on the garden and making sure it looks perfect. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Stayed in this Hotel last June 2019 to celebrate our anniversary. What amazes me is the surprise welcome for couples.. A candle light and rose petals with matching romantic music welcome us as we enter our deluxe room.Room is clean and big for a couple. It also has a balcony overlooking the garden setup of the hotel. I choose the hotel because of its peacefulness and yes, i made the right choice. Food are not so impressive but service is good. This place is away from those busy roads. Overall, i will recommend Sophia's Garden Hotel in Coron.

I would have given it a 4.5 but I had to choose either a 4 or a 5. This is a wonderful small resort filled with flowering trees, with a beautiful pool and wonderful restaurant. It is a great value for those looking for a very comfortable room and quiet location. Only downside is the onging expansion construction that was a little noisy during the day and the rather worn lawn. We were out touring most of the day so we hardly noticed either To start with the hotel arranged transfers from the airport without us asking. That was a nice surprise at the airport. I booked an average room through Expedia and was so impressed by the hotel when I arrived that I asked for an upgrade to a king. It was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is about 30 minutes away from the airport, a free shuttle service for which is provided. The hotel staff are very helpful. My wife and I were very grateful to them as they were more than willing to make inquiries regarding our cancelled flights out of Coron. The hotel is also 10 minutes away from the town and it costs 50 pesos per person to get there. The hotel staff are able to order the tricycles for you. The room we were staying in needs updating. Its decor is dark and not very relaxing. It is, however, spacious and boasts a well stocked minibar. The bathroom looks quite new, although on closer inspection it could be cleaner. Our family had a great time at this place. Their rooms and beds are comfortable. The whole area was spacious and never felt crowded even if they had a lot of guests during our stay. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only reason why I did not give this place a 5-star is their food. The breakfast was good but it was the ala carte menu that we felt they can still improve on. To clarify, the food was not bad at all. It was average. Overall, we felt that we got good value for our money. Will stay here again.
