The hotel has a couple of short comings. Over all it's an average hotel but not exactly a 5 star. The smell from the stagnated water just outside where the lower pool and cabanas are located should be treated since people often dine at night in those cabanas. You can see oil slicks on the water and has a sewage smell. The pools are very nice and the pool bar attendants that we encountered like Paul and Prizzy where an absolute delight. The breakfast menu was a little heavy on breads and sweets but had a variety of different proteins each day. The breakfast was somewhat disorganised because some people were seated and others just wondered in making table selection difficult at times. The room attendants on our particular floor could use some refresher course on cleaning a bit more thoughly since the same dead cricket shared our washroom for at least 3 days. We did mention this to the room staff it still remained the next day and an excuse of we were busy was hardly the correct response. Other than that it was an acceptable experiance. The facility is close to town and multiple tricycles are always at the ready outside. The lobster King is a 5 min walk from the hotel and is worth exploring and it can get quite busy. Hotel staff in the lobby were cordial and accommodating. Overall it was a pleasant experience and still worth going.

Stayed here for 3 nights as a group of 3 girls travelling Hotel was clean and the view from the pools was amazing which really was the highlight of the hotel They put us in a family room with 2 double beds which were very comfortable but the other two beds were higher up accessible by a ladder, I’m not sure who would let their children sleep up there considering there is nothing to stop you getting out of bed and falling down if confused where you were or in the night, none of us slept up there just in case. The breakfast was included but unfortunately not great and everything undercooked so if asking for any sort of eggs make sure they cook longer The most annoying thing was they didn’t replenish the food and this was at 7am we came in and had to ask them to do this when there was plenty of staff who should be constantly checking. Also strange options such as pizza , burger rolls , tacos and carbonara and no fresh fruit or juices Tuk tuks waiting outside to take you around and only 100 pesos to take you into town which was handy The hotel provide an airport transfer for 300 pesos each way and were waiting outside the airport on arrival which we didn’t know about which was good They will also arrange transport to the ferry terminal for 1000 pesos a van Ok for a few days but no longer due to the food situation

We booked a Deluxe room at this hotel in February 2025 (14-25). Despite several positive points (overall architecture, hotel location, very close to the city of Coron, its swimming pools with a very nice view, spacious room, etc.), we were disappointed. Several reasons: the room allocated did not match our reservation and we were forced to change rooms twice in the stay (for the same room but with a less beautiful view for the second). We would even have had to change a third time if we had not expressed our dissatisfaction with these incomprehensible changes. Cleanliness of the commons to review (traces on the doors of elevators and or windows), approximate cleaning in the rooms, unseemly staff (with a few exceptions) and especially hostesses at the reception, supply of breakfast (do not come too late) + juice powder!! We even wanted to be fined 2,000 pesos because we had smoked on our terrace and it was an extra burden for maintenance. Surprising when you see that the hotel says nothing when guests bathe in the pool with T-shirts or bring back the restaurant plates for dinner around the pool.

We stayed in family room no. 218 – 2nd floor for 3 nights, fantastic resort, excellent services, the location is close and reachable from the city center with a 10 minute walk. It's modern and new. It has everything you need: a restaurant, a bar, infinity pools, pool bar, spa, gym, games room. The room is spacious with a balcony. If you need a shuttle from the airport to the hotel (and vice versa), this can be arranged with the reception at a reasonable price. The international buffet breakfast is excellent and of good quality. The hotel provides two large bottles of water every day and ensures that the room is spotlessly clean with daily towel changes. The staff are all very professional and helpful. Their customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this resort. Zuri Resort passed with flying colors and I would more than happily return.

Our stay at Zuri Resort was far from pleasant and left us deeply disappointed.
From the very first day, we encountered issues with the resort's safety. The floors, especially around the pool area, are extremely slippery when wet. Unfortunately, my husband slipped and fell near the pool, resulting in a hurt knee and several cuts on his right foot. When we reported the incident to the reception and requested a first aid kit, we were only given five band-aid strips. Additionally, when we asked for an ice pack, we were told to wait because the resort apparently has only one ice pack, which was currently being used by another guest.
The food at the resort was mediocre at best. Since my husband couldn't join us for our island tours due to his injury, he ordered room service. He was served an adobo dish that neither looked nor tasted like adobo—just two slices of pork in a red sauce. On the fourth day, we decided to venture into town to find a better place to eat. While waiting in the lobby, my husband tripped over a low-lying ledge and almost hurt himself again. There were no signs or warnings indicating the uneven floor.
The quality of the amenities was also subpar. The towels provided were old, with bare threads and a dirty white color. While swimming in the lower pool, we noticed a very strong sewage odor, which prompted us to leave the area immediately. Additionally, we saw some poop marks in the hallway on the second day of our stay, and they remained there for the entire duration of our visit, indicating a serious lapse in cleanliness and hygiene.
We demanded to speak with the person in charge, but the staff informed us that they had already left. We expected to talk to the supervisor the following day, but no one checked in on us or asked how my husband was doing. This lack of concern and follow-up only added to our frustration and disappointment with Zuri Resort.
Our overall experience at Zuri Resort was marred by inadequate safety measures, poor food quality, unresponsive staff, and substandard amenities. We would not recommend this resort to others and hope that management takes serious steps to improve their services and safety protocols.

Don’t come here with high expectations.. or any expectations. Rooms are clean enough if that is all you need. However, the beds and pillows are as hard as rocks. The food is terrible. Breakfast buffet is mediocre at best compared to other breakfast buffets in the Philippines. The brewed coffee tastes like mud water and if you want anything else it is an upcharge. There are no coffeemakers or coffee available in the rooms, just tea bags and a kettle. Free bottled water is limited to 2 bottles per room per day. I would definitely skip this place next time. Did I mention the 4 blackouts within one hour despite there being no storm?

We stayed at Zuri Resort for 3 nights as a group of 5 couples visiting Coron together. We were all very happy with our stay. The shuttle from Francisco B Reyes Airport was easy to book and very convenient. The views over Coron Harbour are stunning, especially in the early morning with the sun shining over the hills. The rooms have comfortable furniture and tasteful decorations, and they provide a lot of amenities, including bathrobes and toiletries! The service is also friendly and easy to communicate with even if you don't speak Tagalog. The included breakfast is delicious and has soooo many options. We also liked that they have free towel loans for the pool and beach. It's a slightly further walk from Coron town but there are tricycles/tuktuk drivers that hang out near the front entrance at all times of the morning through evening - they're friendly and easy to deal with. Some of our favourite memories at Zuri are from soaking in the infinity pools out back after dark - the water is a perfect temperature and the lights from the hotel and in the pools give such a lovely ambiance. And they're open late! One drawback is that the bar/shop/restaurant close a little earlier than I thought. Also, the price is a little on the expensive side compared to other hotel/resorts but with all the attention to detail I don't mind. I cannot recommend Zuri enough and every time I return to Coron I will be staying there.

Nice hotel, but not quite yet polished. Front desk can’t seem to coordinate with transfers, people in the cafe cant seem to tell you how much a coffee will cost. Everything is a bit slow and staff don’t seem trained at all. So with any detail, you will need to forward think it and prepare everyone
Facility is nice but the bell desk guy said they didn’t have any accessible rooms for those in wheelchairs?
A general word of warning about Coron, there’s no hospital nearby so bring a first aid kit and be prepared.

We were a family of 5 and stayed for 8 days. We wanted to just relax and do some diving. In hindsight, 4 days would have been more than enough. The hotel is nice enough, but something felt a little off. There's a serious mosquito problem here. We just spent 5 days island hopping and sleeping in huts prior to coming here for a real island experience, and we didn't get bitten once. We entered our room, there was a mosquito party in our room, overnight, we had over 30 bitest between us. I guess part of the problem is the cleaning staff, they leave the door wide open for the duration of the cleaning service (which I asked them to close during cleaning): also, they were rationing toilet paper, I had to ask for extras almost daily. Or maybe it could be partly that they don't fumigate. I felt the dining area could do with some proper cleaning. Although we did enjoy the buffet with a wide variety of choices, but it felt like the Arctics in the restaurant, my tea would be cold after 5 min. They had a large recreational area, where you could do some business calls, the kids can play pool, table tennis or watch a film, which was very well thought out. What I was not really impressed about was the pool area, it lacked umbreallas/shade, the pool was very dirty, I couldn't even bring myself to go in once and then suddenly, overnight, it turned green. I was a little bit disappointed by the view. None of the pictures I have seen from the hotel showed the big blank spot of dirt from the hotel edge to the coast. And there was this unpleasant smell the whole time...I couldn't put my finger on it, I think it could be the stagnant river next to the hotel. The front desk was a hit and miss, they were not so friendly when we arrived, but then, sometimes, they would greet us, sometimes not. The staff in general were very nice, like the door man, the restaurant staff. But, I think there's lots of room for improvement.
