We stayed for 4-5 days and felt at home. It is very clean and everyone is very hospitable. When my boyfriend got sick Tita Gloria prepared special foods and drinks for him. They have a pickup shuttle and Kuya Albert picked us up from the airport and dropped us of at a dive center because we needed to book dives there. He took our luggage already to our room. Each morning they prepared fresh breakfast, they asked us what we would like to eat. When we wanted to go to the hotsprings we could rent a motorbike via them and it was arranged within a minute. The pensionhouse is right next to the port so especially perfect if you take a ferry or arrive with ferry.

We highly recommend Sunrise Pensionhouse.

Thank you Tita Gloria, Kuya Abil, Kuya Albert, Tita Melinda and everyone else that made our stay perfect.

Our 5 day stay at Sunrise Pension House was great ! A very warm welcome from the owner ( Ms. Gloria) herself when we arrived. She arranged for our airport shuttle service and all our island hopping tours. So very accommodating that we almost felt at home.
She even prepared sumptuous breakfast everyday and supper too. She would even ask us what we would like !

Rooms and bathroom are very clean, fresh towels were provided everyday. It was located far away from the busy area. Quiet and safe at night.

There was a balcony outside our room where we can have coffee in the morning or relax there when we get back in the afternoon.

Great value for the amount we paid for our stay here!

We would definitely come back and stay here . And would highly recommend Sunrise Pension House to our family and friends.

Thank you Ms. Gloria for the wonderful and personalized service ! We really enjoyed our stay with you.

for a large family to go on vacation, Sunrise Pension House is a good choice.

Pros:
1. Staff is very accommodating, even the owner, Tita Gloria will make sure that you have a very wonderful stay.
2. all kinds of tour packages were available from their resort and will give you even cheaper prices for the trip. (depends on which package you'll take)
3. Food is superb. We weren't able to book for a full board package but were being accommodated on the day of arrival. the good thing is, we were the ones who provide the menu on what they should cook (like a seaside resto in Manila).

cons:
1. wifi is weak, granting your in PH and in a remote area, expect wifi signal are not good.
2. room ACs are not cold enough. and the toilets are a bit small.

p.s. the resort seems to have a long list of friendly neighbors and we even got one of the best Tour Guides in Coron (i forgot the name of the tour guide, but according to him, he is one of the three guides that were interviewed by International News Orgs for Their Documentary) and I can attest to how good he really is. :)

We stayed here for four nights, and decided after our stay that it would have been better to have stayed in Coron town. The place was clean, but nothing special. We almost never saw the owners, and in fact rarely saw other people at the hotel. There is nothing around the hotel except for the ferry dock and some street stalls, so we went into town for Island hopping, diving, and all our food. While it wasn't expensive to go into town (10 peso tricycle ride) it would have been much more convenient to stay in Coron. There were also dogs that barked EVERY MORNING right outside our window around 6am which we were pretty sick of by the last day. It also smelled a bit funky near the water when we were there.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Sunrise. Gloria is awesome and super helpful! sunrise is right next to the pier, so very convenient for arriving by ferry. It was nice to stay near the pier, since you are a little removed from the busy main city center and right on the water. An added bonus of having the restaurant and sitting area right on the water was that we were able to sit with our morning coffee until the tour boat drove up to pick us up right at the hotel - so easy! Nice, clean rooms and good wifi.

We stayed here for 5 nights, extra day due to a typhoon that marooned us on Coron. We came back defeated after spending a whole rainy day at the airport, and Gloria immediately got us back in our rooms and cooked an incredible feast with squid ink, pancit, fried fish, and roast chicken.

This is a great find for the budget traveler. The hotel is getting renovated, like most in Coron after Yolanda a couple of years ago devastated most of the oceanside properties. The common area/dining hall is very open with great wood communal tables. Gloria is full of recommendations and advice, and very helpful with bookings and pricing out trips. There were a lot of groups and families that stayed here. Rooms were very basic but adequate with 24-hour electricity due to an on-site generator - A/C, fans, wi-fi in rooms. It is a little farther from the center of town, but only 20 pesos ride out (10 back in) and next to the ferry pier if you have any plans to get to/from Manila by ferry. You can also hire boats that leave straight from the hotel dining area.

Loved Coron. Loved Gloria. Thank you for everything!

we stayed here for 8 nites, and all of us are quite satisfied. The location is easy to get to and tricycles out of the door to go around the town no matter how early you will be leaving. The rooms are tidy and clean, and they've even got lovely double-deck beds. The canteen has a nice view of the bay, and you could use the kitchen to cook the food by yourself just for a bit surcharges. The families of the owner are too nice and helpful. They booked the boat, booked the van and arranged our trip for us according to our request. And they are so considerate, just treat you like families. When Gloria kissed me goodbye, we almost dropped tears.

Due to cancelled flight, cebu pacific provided us accommodation at sunrise. At first, the place was really not enticing compared to the hotel we stayed. Since, I am with my bosses who are used to the 'nicest' hotel in town, i took charge and placed them to the nicest room the house has to offer. We want to transferred to our previous hotel but unfortunately it was fully book. In a while dinner was served. Everyone was so quiet and I can hear their mind saying 'another experience'. The ice just broke after tasting the food. It was great! The food was not oily. The sinigang na isda and adobong pusit plus patis with calamansi and banana for dessert. For 3 days we rarely had fruits because it was imported from the main island. The night became a feast. We even had picture taking. And enjoyed the rest of the night, some were drinking and some were watching their fave telenovela. There was a strong wifi connection. Tita glo was very accomodating and even asked what do we want for breakfast. The breakfast and lunch were really superb. She even assisted us in buying dried pusit for pasalubong. She's very nice. I think because of our comfort stay and delicious food plus the happy ambience, Our chairman treated us with a massage and pedicure. Kudos to you tita glo and sunrise house. Such a good vibes.
