We were supposed to spend 3days in this hotel. Unfortunately, a month before our stay, the Philippines closed their borders because of the coronavirus. We were unable to go to the Philippines and therefore to this hotel. We immediately contacted the hotel to explain the situation and to request a refund/voucher. The manager asked us for proof of cancellation of our flights,which we provided. Since that day,we have had no news from them. I tried to contact them several times by email as well as by phone but I didn't get a response The cancellation or rebooking should and MUST apply when things as exceptional as a pandemic happen. It is NOT OUR FAULT that we were unable to stay at your hotel. I understand that you can't refund all your customers but you can AT LEAST give us a voucher (like others hotels have !) You haven't been understanding with your customers and that is why I DON'T recommend you I will not be staying at your hotel next year when i go on my honeymoon to Coron !…
We had a family gathering in Coron since our various family members are beginning there. We booked in Sunz En Coron Resort for a medium-term and for us to utilize their brilliant room. We had an astonishing time most magnificently that we could bond with our family members that we a huge piece of the time see, just once dependably when we visit Philippines. The rooms that we had were wide, can suit as all and has the things that we required amidst our remain. Persuading and clean. A devotion of gratefulness is all together to make our stay essential.
Do not book in this hotel. I am sharing what happened to me in my 3d&2n stay in Sunz en Coron. On the first day when we checked-in, the process was smooth and we were even given welcome drinks. The guard and staff were polite. On my second day, while having breakfast, the waiter of their restaurant accidentally poured this whole cup of super super hot coffee on me. It was very painful! Imagine being poured with very hot water! I was shocked with what happened then cried because I was starting to feel the pain of the hot coffee that got poured on my right arm, right side of stomach, and right thigh. We just asked for ice and they gave us aloe vera lotion to soothe the pain. I think they did not inform the management of what happened since I didn't hear anything from them. We also weren't able to report it anymore since we will be leaving for our island hopping tour any minute after our breakfast. I didn't want that experience to ruin my tour. I just expected that they will offer any compensation with what happened after that and I think it should be the job of the offender to report what he did. On the third day, when we were about to leave the hotel and hop on the airport transfer that we asked for the reception staff to arrange for us the night before, we were told that they can only accommodate 1 more person in the van. But there are two of us. We requested it at the reception the night before and ensured that we will be picked-up the next day. We didn't expect that only 1 of us will be accommodated. So the solution of the hotel and the airport transfer driver was to squeeze the two of us in one seat which was very very unfair just because I am small. It was their fault, why do we need to be the one to adjust because of their shortcomings? Other things that we didn't like are no mobile signal, slow and sometimes unavailable wifi signal, and it was hard to catch a ride that will bring you to the town if their trike is not available. I am really disappointed with what happened to me in this hotel, it was because of them that I didn't fully enjoy my stay in Coron. Sadly it was my first time there.…
Made a reservation online and paid the booking in advance for Nov 2-4, semi de luxe room. When we arrived and entered the room, a strong foul odor welcomed us 😷 the smell of the whole room is like a bathroom 🤮 we could not stand it, we decided to transfer to another hotel but they won’t refund us. Not even half of what we paid..
4 of us visiting from USA and this hotel is clean, friendly staff, and good breakfast. Massage in room inexpensive, scooter delivered to hotel reasonable, WiFi ok near lobby but room not great. Overall great value
