If you will be touring Coron and just need a place to sleep and leave your stuff, Centro Coron can be just that. Nothing to expect from and that is alright since most of Coron is still (and hope to stay) not commercialized albeit few hotels are sprouting over. It is quite far from the airport. There are other places to stay in that are much further than here but you would rather pick this one. It is near the port area (the jump off for the island tour), market place, restaurant, city hall, banks, grocery and similar establishments. Lots of souvenir shop nearby and places to eat or drink (bit pricey though). You wont't get lost walking around as the roads all lead back to the main road or to the rotonda in the market area. Outside: there is a restaurant out front and the entrance to the place makes you feel uncertain about it. We thought we went to the wrong place as the name was hidden and the receptionist is not around. We waited for a few minutes and when the lady got back she told us that she went to the city hall. There is a bar nearby and the restaurant is where they serve the breakfast. Free breakfast just choose from the 100php menu items -usually silog. Room: the bed is decent, queen size. TV with cable. A table and a monoblock chair beside it. There is a place to hang your clothes and place your stuff. The bathroom is small and it has no heater (not needed tho). There was a time we had no running water. The place has no WiFi and Smart signal is weak inside the room. There are chairs and table outside the room. Sure there other places better but if you are not peculiar and will be out the rest of the day, it is alright.

My friends and I stayed here for four nights last April. The room was not great and the serving time of the breakfast was very long. The price of the room was cheap but I would recommend that you find another place to stay in Coron if you can afford to spend more on your accomodation. There are a lot of cheap places there that could give you your money’s worth.

We arrived right before lunch only to find out from the sole staff that a couple of days earlier, they discontinued their partnership with the online booking platform we used. Our reservation was therefore cancelled and the rooms we booked (the bigger ones) were no longer available. We were able to get smaller rooms in the same place. Location is great, given that it's right in the town proper / city center. However, the place has a certain smell and the AC isn't as cool. Water is a problem in the shower. Nothing else to do in the place but to go out. Not ideal if travelling with kids. Wifi is super slow.

There are good points: staff are friendly and the place is centrally located. BUT the place is dirty and smelly and like a dumping area. I don't know if I would say that there is a lounge, I would not sit there as it smells; and it is not a lounge at all. This is not what I call bed and breakfast. They said that there is Wifi but just one bar signal. I would not recommended the place at all.

The main reasons we chose Centro Coron Bed and Breakfast for our recent weekend in Coron are as follows - it fits our budget and it's located right at the center of Coron town. The restaurants, the port (or the jump-off for all island hopping activities) and Mt. Tapyas are just a few minutes walk from the property. You should understand that this is not a chi-chi hotel. Centro Coron Bed and Breakfast does not have a pool, the shower water pressure is not strong and Wi-Fi connection is less than ideal. But none in our group seemed to mind since we are out most of the time anyway and only stay here for the night. These limitations however were wonderfully compensated by its undermanned hotel staff. If you need additional toilet paper or new towels, all you have to do is politely ask. They also extend the extra mile to make your stay in the island more convenient. I experienced this firsthand after we found out that our return flight was cancelled. We decided to check out earlier so that we can assess other options at the Busuanga airport. Angelica, one of their staffs, then tried her very best to squeeze us on the next few vans headed that way.

Excellent location. Rooms are clean, with AC, TV, WiFi, and toilet and shower. Towels and toilet paper are provided. The receptionist is very helpful. Their restaurant though needs improvement. It is undermanned and it takes them too long to prepare the food. We have to wait 30 minutes for our simple breakfast. Best to place orders early.

Ants in the room, although the AC worked well. No seat on the toilet, worn towels. This place felt like a slum. Loud next to the main road, I knew this when I booked but I am just reminding you. One socket to plug in your electronics by the door four feet up.... no table there to set it so you needed to hang your electronics by their cord. Choose someplace else.

Location wise, it is perfect. Everything is accessible, the restaurants, wet market, shops, rentals and everything else is within reach. Plus, Centro Coron BNB is just along the National Highway making it really accessible. Also, you are not familiar with the place, the staff are pretty accommodating and friendly and would gladly answer your queries regarding the dos and don'ts and suggest great places to visit around the area. Room wise, it was great. I was provided with toiletries(if you need more you could ask for more and for new towels daily), an air-conditioned room, comfortable bed, hot and cold shower. If you have any request or problems just ask the front desk, they are truly accommodating and would meet your needs. Breakfast is provided and the food is nice as well. They have also connections with the rides and tourist spots so just ask them if you need one. I got discounts when I went there and I was properly taken care off. Overall, my stay was great. I didn't have any problems. The staffs were friendly, met new friends and was well informed on the things I should see and experience in Coron. Definitely would get back and have another visit in Coron to visit the other places I've missed.

If you are not picky and you have a tight budget, Centro Coron is a place to stay. The staffs are very accomodating and friendly. It has a very good location too, they are in the center of everything. On my next visit in Coron, will surely stay here again. Stayed here for 3D2N .
