Out of the town so away from the air and noise polluted town. Short tricycle ride away. Breakfast good help yourself from the buffet, plenty of choice. No stray dogs or cats...bliss! Pool interestingly designed, lots of fun features but could be cleaner, the staff should be netting the leaves several times a day. Free filtered water from the machine. Small kiosk shop across the road. Friendly staff Free airport pick up easy to arrange. Cons Our room was small and dark so pay more and go for a better room. Ours was badly designed with windows in the hall which didn't have shades so it go very hot. Air con not brilliant. We asked for a quiet room but were given one above the room where they cleared up after dinner so it was noisy until 10 pm. Some sun loungers didn't have padding so were a bit uncomfortable. Near a quarry so could be quite noisy with traffic starting up for work but no where near as bad as Coron town! We also stayed in the two seasons bayside and much preferred Fernvale as it was away from the noisy, dirty town. Good value.…
Located a bit further away from Coron town proper in what's supposed to be future villa with the resort available. Quiet, breakfast was included (buffet style) and very helpful staff. Top pool wasn't maintained but the bottom one was. Not great for alcoholic drink menu but food was good.
Really lovely welcoming staff who were genuinely helpful and caring. Everyone here had big sincere smiles. Very nice swimming pool. No problems getting a 10 minute tricycle ride to/from Coron Town at a cost of PNP 30 per person. Complimentary shuttle to/from the Airport was provided. Complimentary buffet breakfast was simple but more than adequate, Our room was well appointed and huge. It had three widely spaced queen size beds on the first floor. On the ground floor it had 2 showers, 2 toilets and a kitchen sink. No idea what the other rooms were like, but ours was a seriously big room. No noise issues of any kind. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was clean. Coron Town is quite chaotic/noisy and it was great to return to a tranquil retreat at the end of each day. WiFi is meant to be in the pool/public areas only; however we were able to also get it most times in our room. However, in all areas the WiFi connection speeds were pretty poor. Fairly extensive dining menu - or you can grab a tricycle into Coron Town where there are plenty of eateries. At the time of our stay, the Resort was still waiting for credit card facilities to be connected - so payments (including the returnable security deposit that needs to be paid at check-in) had to be paid in cash. This isn’t really a problem as there are heaps of ATM’s in Coron Town. Very good security. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.…
We were a little unsure about staying here based on some of the reviews, however we ended up having a great stay! The room was extremely spacious and the pool facilities were great. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our only complaint would be the limited fruit and vegetable selection on the breakfast buffet.
Good part of fernvale is the location of being in a private area, safe and quite. Rooms and poolarea ok (based on the standards in coron). Staff very slow, breakfast is horrible, not even the eggs are ok. I have not experienced the quality of bad food or service anywhere else.
Stayed a Fernvale for 4 Nights and it was excellent service. The entire staff was amazing from check in all the way until check out, especially Gloria at reception who went above and beyond. The room was big and bed was comfortable. It was explained that the wifi is not strong at check in. We didnt come to coron to be on our phones. We came there to enjoy the beautiful views of Palawan so the wifi didnt matter. Room service was surprisingly tasty and the pool was really really nice. Will stay again and recommend to friends that visit Coron.
Stayed for 3 nights, it’s 15mins to coron town , they provide free transfer to and from the airport. And also free breakfast. Its a beautiful resort with new spacious rooms , comfortable bed, has hot shower, very good AC, and very clean rooms . They have beautiful well maintained building ,gardens and a beautiful huge swimming pool. But the down side is that the WiFi is very slow and no WiFi in the rooms . Also Since the resort seems new the staff are not quite trained for customer service yet . Had Very poor service ,there’s no one in the front desk at most time. Also the deposit is 5Kph cash! Breakfast is delicious with lots of choices but they don’t open till 7 am. So if you have an early tour or early checkout you’ll miss out of that breakfast. We’ve had our dinner in there restaurant , the food is excellent but service is poor and it takes a long time to serve the food.…
Wonderful resort, great facilities, great pool, great food. Special mention to all the staff, especially Geovil (Joe-vil), sir your customer service is excellent and people like you are the reason we love to holiday. We will be back, our only constructive feedback is the internet quality is very bad, but I guess you don’t go on holiday to have Internet! See you again soon. Thank you!
If you are looking for a quiet, calm scenery, then this is the place for you. You will really have a nice retreat here, especially since the signal here is really really bad. No internet, no wifi. The signal is very hard to get by.
We spent about 4 days at Fernvale Leisure Club and Resort and it was amazing! Staff was nice, the amenities are great! Location is a little out of the way, but that was exactly what made it super nice! The room was amazing, super spacious for 4, just a small bathroom, but we managed.
