We stayed in Charms hotel for 4 days and 3 nights in July. I was very impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of the staff throughout our stay. Everyone had a smile on their face, were always more than happy to accommodate our needs and really made us feel welcome.

We had the family room which was huge, really clean, bed and pillows were very comfy (I'm very fussy with pillows). The only thing worth noting I think is that some rooms are located near the road so if you're a light sleeper, maybe bring some earplugs. Otherwise, probably best to request a room further from the road.

Stayed at Charms Hotel for 4 days 3 nights. We just checked out as I am writing this review. We had a good time here.

The rooms were very clean, airconditioning works well, beds were comfy, staff are well-oriented in customer service, there’s also a free breakfast and welcome drinks for guests. There’s a pool for adults and kids if you want to stay in and just relax.

The hotel also helps in arranging your transportation needs, helps in booking tours. What I also like is it is near the center of the town so looking for food isn’t a problem. It’s also near McDonald’s, about 5 minutes walk in case you feel like eating fastfood.

I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and great customer service. My wife and I were here before pandemic and I only had time today to give a review because they deserve it. I'm writing this now because we're back on vacation again and we're bringing our sons so they experience the same thing. We're going to Charms then Balinsasayaw, so watch for that review. We were allowed to experience the Balinsasayaw island for a day and we're planning to stay in the island this time.

Food is good. We requested seafood and they provided them and it was very delicious. Everyday we were full. Every request we made were granted and every food we want to eat provided.

They arranged our private island hopping and they gave us a great tour guide. Our guide was very attentive and gave us time to enjoy the different islands. He is also a great photographer and made sure that we are always safe.

Accommodation is good and our room have amenities. It's on the small side but we're ok because we were a couple. I'll definitely recommend to get 2 rooms if you have teenagers. There is plenty of water and hot water for the shower.

Overall great experience and will recommend. We're going back!

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Charms Hotel and would recommend it to other travellers. Its one of those hotels that is sort of just OK. It doesn’t necessarily bring back lovely memories and one that I fawn over and love for its character and beauty. It’s a satisfactory hotel and for its price well worth it.

The pool is great and I spent much time there enjoying the peace and doing what we all love to do at a hotel pool. The rooms were ok but the one I had on the ground floor really lacked any view. I would suggest trying to get a room on the higher floors that may offer a better view. All the plumbing and electrics worked really well and so no IT, electrical or plumbing nightmares. Breakfasts were more than sufficient and the food was good. Tea on tap, which makes me super happy. Service from the girls on the front desk was very good and they met all questions and queries with smiles and that wonderful Filipino charm.

I was happy to make the walk down the hill into town. It is set back a little further and this may put other travellers off. But that walk allowed me to see so much more of Coron, chat to locals and simply absorb the island atmosphere. People who want to move from bedroom to restaurant in air-conditioned comfort truly miss connecting with nature, the environment and the people of any destination. The location of the hotel also meant that I could jog out in the opposite direction into the hills and jungle behind. That was wonderful and despite the humidity and heat my daily jog was one of the best parts of my stay on Coron Island. I would tease the cute Filipino kids who would sit outside their huts and laugh at the crazy foreigner jogging past each day.

So I would stay again and happily recommend this hotel. However overall I feel it could do with an injection of something to give it that really unique edge. Some identity change or styling makeover from someone with an eye for branding and identity to give it more appeal. It needs to move more into the cool boutique beauty hot hotel region and away from just ok. If it does that and they invest it would be an awesome hotel.

This little hotel really surprised us, we both enjoyed staying here, sadly we only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. The room was nice, very clean, bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good and not too noisy. The pool area was nice and peaceful. We definitely felt this was a good place to stay if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the main road through Coron. They had a light and bright reception/ breakfast area. Breakfast was ok and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

This was my second stay here ..I was given the suite facing the pool .. as usual the staff is wonderfully welcoming and truly caring ..in spite of being stuck in the hotel for 3 days unable to go out because of a typhoon things were absolutely under control there and everyone stayed on duty as if nothing was happening. Non stop Lashing rain ..high winds etc ..nothing made a difference to their calm and the hotel functioned ABSOLUTELY normally . Even the breakfast buffets were filling and delicious as usual.
Hats off to the ENTIRE staff once more . All I can say is that for the price they offer the service and comfort is way above value .. truly I'll stay no where else when in Coron ...kudos to the management n staff ..God Bless you all

The Charms Hotel was without doubt one of my favorite hotels that I stayed in during my trip to the Philippines! Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff with fruity cold drinks, warm smiles and excellent recommendations.

Staff made sure all transportation for daily trips were scheduled for us on time which made planning run as smoothly as possible. They only use reliable and well known drivers/tour guides so that you know you’re getting the best deal.

The restaurant was very flexible (appreciate this!). Food served at The Charms Hotel was always delicious and versatile. You could order a traditional filipino meal or stick to the basics. Great options for all those picky eaters out there!

The pool was exceptionally clean (probably one of the cleanest I’ve seen in the Philippines). The room itself was also clean, spacious, and modern. The shower ran both hot and cold water which is hard to find when booking hotels in the Philippines.

We had three great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience but it couldn’t have been done without the helpful staff at Charms. Great stay with great people!

I absolutely loved my stay at Charms. The rooms were modern and clean. Showers were hot, the AC was freezing cold and our WiFi worked well. We really enjoyed the pool (the pictures don’t do it justice, especially with all flashing lights and sprinklers during the evening). The food was super affordable and tasty - lots of variety from classic Filipino food to American. It’s conveniently located a quick walk from town. Also is right next to the gym/ fitness center if you’re interested in that. The staff was helpful, friendly and kind. Management was very responsive to my emails and was able to coordinate all of our day trips and airport transfer at an awesome cost. Highly highly recommended.

This hotel is a new and modern hotel just on the outskirts of Coron Town. The rooms are a good size with a lovely small and new bathroom and the aircon works wonders. Town is within walking distance or you can catch a trike for 30 peso for two people (around 40p). The staff were extremely kind and friendly and the pool was perfect if you wanted a day of chilling. Although there aren’t many sun beds to you may have to chill on the floor. The restaurant food was cheap and tasty but be prepared if it’s busy to wait some time to get your food (this is the same in most of the Philippines so you get used to it). It is also very clean and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a simple place as you plan on spending a small time in the hotel as you plan on going on trips this is the place to stay. I would definitely recommend.

located just outside the noisy poblacion center of Coron town is this brand-new hotel, that is just the kind of place one would go to experience high-end without having to pay with an arm and a leg!

Charms is a small, yet well-appointed hotel with 20 plush rooms with a adequate air-conditioning and quiet one looks for in a vacation space. it has also got a swimming pool and a cafe that offers buffet breakfast but one can also order any meal.

the staff is extra nice and accommodating... very helpful to their guests and are always ready to provide the information you need.

when you spend your vacation days island hopping with the nights feasting on the freshest seafoods, there is simply nothing that beats the safety and comfort of a hotel that works extra to make you feel right at home.
