This was my second stay here ..I was given the suite facing the pool .. as usual the staff is wonderfully welcoming and truly caring ..in spite of being stuck in the hotel for 3 days unable to go out because of a typhoon things were absolutely under control there and everyone stayed on duty as if nothing was happening. Non stop Lashing rain ..high winds etc ..nothing made a difference to their calm and the hotel functioned ABSOLUTELY normally . Even the breakfast buffets were filling and delicious as usual. Hats off to the ENTIRE staff once more . All I can say is that for the price they offer the service and comfort is way above value .. truly I'll stay no where else when in Coron ...kudos to the management n staff ..God Bless you all

I was expecting a hotel like for backpackers but it was not. It was more of a business hotel with enough space to work in the room, fast internet everywhere. It was also for a family where we can request to cook our food or reheat our leftovers from outside restaurants The staff were all friendly.

This little hotel really surprised us, we both enjoyed staying here, sadly we only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. The room was nice, very clean, bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good and not too noisy. The pool area was nice and peaceful. We definitely felt this was a good place to stay if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the main road through Coron. They had a light and bright reception/ breakfast area. Breakfast was ok and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

This Hotel TRULY lives up to it's name.. small but totally adequate in every way this haven provides a pool , decent size rooms and clean attached bathrooms .. both poolside and first floor .. Since it's tucked away a bit from the MAIN road so is quiet and the greenery around lends a cooling tranquil ambience to the entire place . Now that's common in many hotels ..here's what makes this place outstanding (BTW We stayed TEN days which is a long time to test a hotel's true value) . 1. The staff from Andry to Denton at the reception to Joshua, Elona Jean and the housekeeping n kitchen help .. they're so well mannered .. polite ..helpful and cheerful that it's uplifting and transforms one's holiday to a level of perfection one can only normally hope for but rarely achieve. Thank you all for being such wonderful loving people. 2. The breakfast buffet is more than enough to carry you through without stomach pangs to a truly late lunch if you're on an island tour till 4pm . 3. The tours too are professionally booked by the Reception quite promptly and efficiently. 4. Dinner at the restaurant proved to be a pleasant surprise. The chef stayed till 7pm on our first day ..16th Feb 2023 and both the chicken and pork were delicious as was the soup . I'm told the chef occasionally stays late till 7pm and cooks dinner . 5. The price of stay is surprisingly reasonable for the quality of stay . I'd say the other hotels in the vicinity were not such great value for money. If there's more hotels like CHARMS with such "charming" employees and efficiency I'm sure CORON will attract a much larger number of tourists than now . God Bless you all and thank you for making our holiday a memorable one .

We stayed in Charms hotel for 4 days and 3 nights in July. I was very impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of the staff throughout our stay. Everyone had a smile on their face, were always more than happy to accommodate our needs and really made us feel welcome. We had the family room which was huge, really clean, bed and pillows were very comfy (I'm very fussy with pillows). The only thing worth noting I think is that some rooms are located near the road so if you're a light sleeper, maybe bring some earplugs. Otherwise, probably best to request a room further from the road.

Stayed at Charms Hotel for 4 days 3 nights. We just checked out as I am writing this review. We had a good time here. The rooms were very clean, airconditioning works well, beds were comfy, staff are well-oriented in customer service, there’s also a free breakfast and welcome drinks for guests. There’s a pool for adults and kids if you want to stay in and just relax. The hotel also helps in arranging your transportation needs, helps in booking tours. What I also like is it is near the center of the town so looking for food isn’t a problem. It’s also near McDonald’s, about 5 minutes walk in case you feel like eating fastfood. I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and great customer service. My wife and I were here before pandemic and I only had time today to give a review because they deserve it. I'm writing this now because we're back on vacation again and we're bringing our sons so they experience the same thing. We're going to Charms then Balinsasayaw, so watch for that review. We were allowed to experience the Balinsasayaw island for a day and we're planning to stay in the island this time. Food is good. We requested seafood and they provided them and it was very delicious. Everyday we were full. Every request we made were granted and every food we want to eat provided. They arranged our private island hopping and they gave us a great tour guide. Our guide was very attentive and gave us time to enjoy the different islands. He is also a great photographer and made sure that we are always safe. Accommodation is good and our room have amenities. It's on the small side but we're ok because we were a couple. I'll definitely recommend to get 2 rooms if you have teenagers. There is plenty of water and hot water for the shower. Overall great experience and will recommend. We're going back!

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Charms Hotel and would recommend it to other travellers. Its one of those hotels that is sort of just OK. It doesn’t necessarily bring back lovely memories and one that I fawn over and love for its character and beauty. It’s a satisfactory hotel and for its price well worth it. The pool is great and I spent much time there enjoying the peace and doing what we all love to do at a hotel pool. The rooms were ok but the one I had on the ground floor really lacked any view. I would suggest trying to get a room on the higher floors that may offer a better view. All the plumbing and electrics worked really well and so no IT, electrical or plumbing nightmares. Breakfasts were more than sufficient and the food was good. Tea on tap, which makes me super happy. Service from the girls on the front desk was very good and they met all questions and queries with smiles and that wonderful Filipino charm. I was happy to make the walk down the hill into town. It is set back a little further and this may put other travellers off. But that walk allowed me to see so much more of Coron, chat to locals and simply absorb the island atmosphere. People who want to move from bedroom to restaurant in air-conditioned comfort truly miss connecting with nature, the environment and the people of any destination. The location of the hotel also meant that I could jog out in the opposite direction into the hills and jungle behind. That was wonderful and despite the humidity and heat my daily jog was one of the best parts of my stay on Coron Island. I would tease the cute Filipino kids who would sit outside their huts and laugh at the crazy foreigner jogging past each day. So I would stay again and happily recommend this hotel. However overall I feel it could do with an injection of something to give it that really unique edge. Some identity change or styling makeover from someone with an eye for branding and identity to give it more appeal. It needs to move more into the cool boutique beauty hot hotel region and away from just ok. If it does that and they invest it would be an awesome hotel.

The hotel is located in a quiet area and a bit outside of Coron Proper Town. By walking it will take you around 10-15 min and by tricycle less than 5 min to town. The price for the tricycle is between 10-20 pesos. This hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are nice, clean and with a good working air con equipped. Hot and cold water shower available. They have a nice big swimming pool which is very clean. They offer international/western and filipino breakfast. Also the food in the hotel is very good. At the reception you can book tours and they also offer an airport shuttle which costs per way 150 peso. All the people working there are very friendly and helpful. Especially at the reception they are doing a great job. thanks to Eric, Andrelyn and Jeanette.

Hotel is average. Clean. Breakfast is good. The most unfortunate part of our stay was the noise levels. We had a room beside the stairs and could hear everyone coming and going. We could also hear a cock bawling for most of the day and night which caused great annoyance to us. Very overpriced for what we received. Staff were nice. Grand location. Easy to get a tricycle into town.
