Great hotel and great customer service. My wife and I were here before pandemic and I only had time today to give a review because they deserve it. I'm writing this now because we're back on vacation again and we're bringing our sons so they experience the same thing. We're going to Charms then Balinsasayaw, so watch for that review. We were allowed to experience the Balinsasayaw island for a day and we're planning to stay in the island this time. Food is good. We requested seafood and they provided them and it was very delicious. Everyday we were full. Every request we made were granted and every food we want to eat provided. They arranged our private island hopping and they gave us a great tour guide. Our guide was very attentive and gave us time to enjoy the different islands. He is also a great photographer and made sure that we are always safe. Accommodation is good and our room have amenities. It's on the small side but we're ok because we were a couple. I'll definitely recommend to get 2 rooms if you have teenagers. There is plenty of water and hot water for the shower. Overall great experience and will recommend. We're going back!

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Charms Hotel and would recommend it to other travellers. Its one of those hotels that is sort of just OK. It doesn’t necessarily bring back lovely memories and one that I fawn over and love for its character and beauty. It’s a satisfactory hotel and for its price well worth it. The pool is great and I spent much time there enjoying the peace and doing what we all love to do at a hotel pool. The rooms were ok but the one I had on the ground floor really lacked any view. I would suggest trying to get a room on the higher floors that may offer a better view. All the plumbing and electrics worked really well and so no IT, electrical or plumbing nightmares. Breakfasts were more than sufficient and the food was good. Tea on tap, which makes me super happy. Service from the girls on the front desk was very good and they met all questions and queries with smiles and that wonderful Filipino charm. I was happy to make the walk down the hill into town. It is set back a little further and this may put other travellers off. But that walk allowed me to see so much more of Coron, chat to locals and simply absorb the island atmosphere. People who want to move from bedroom to restaurant in air-conditioned comfort truly miss connecting with nature, the environment and the people of any destination. The location of the hotel also meant that I could jog out in the opposite direction into the hills and jungle behind. That was wonderful and despite the humidity and heat my daily jog was one of the best parts of my stay on Coron Island. I would tease the cute Filipino kids who would sit outside their huts and laugh at the crazy foreigner jogging past each day. So I would stay again and happily recommend this hotel. However overall I feel it could do with an injection of something to give it that really unique edge. Some identity change or styling makeover from someone with an eye for branding and identity to give it more appeal. It needs to move more into the cool boutique beauty hot hotel region and away from just ok. If it does that and they invest it would be an awesome hotel.

The hotel is located in a quiet area and a bit outside of Coron Proper Town. By walking it will take you around 10-15 min and by tricycle less than 5 min to town. The price for the tricycle is between 10-20 pesos. This hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are nice, clean and with a good working air con equipped. Hot and cold water shower available. They have a nice big swimming pool which is very clean. They offer international/western and filipino breakfast. Also the food in the hotel is very good. At the reception you can book tours and they also offer an airport shuttle which costs per way 150 peso. All the people working there are very friendly and helpful. Especially at the reception they are doing a great job. thanks to Eric, Andrelyn and Jeanette.

Hotel is average. Clean. Breakfast is good. The most unfortunate part of our stay was the noise levels. We had a room beside the stairs and could hear everyone coming and going. We could also hear a cock bawling for most of the day and night which caused great annoyance to us. Very overpriced for what we received. Staff were nice. Grand location. Easy to get a tricycle into town.

The staff makes this hotel. Front desk was very competent and pleasant. The on site dining was swapping recipes with my wife. Rooms were very clean and very cold. Fun, inexpensive, and easy trike rides into town. Lobster House, about a minute or two drive away, was very good also.

It was our first time travelling to Coron and we were not to sure what to expect from the hotels on the island. So and we’ve decided to give Charms Hotel a go as it has pretty decent reviews on trip advisor and our stay was from 10th – 19th of May. This perhaps has to be the best choice in accommodation we have ever made. • Room amenities and facilities The hotel is relatively new, approximately 7 months old. Room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable (not to soft or hard), and no issues with the aircon temperature as you may presume. We were also provided the basic necessities such as toothbrushes, soap, coffee, and two bottles of water daily. For those particular of hygiene, fret not as the room is spanking clean. But I would say what was most important for us was security. During our research, some places actually had theft issues. So that major plus point when we saw that they had a safety deposit box in the room!!! A huge relief as we were carrying a fair amount of cash onto the island. The swimming pool is gorgeous for those pool loungers. As mentioned, new hotel, new pool. But it was also well maintained as every morning whilst having coffee and a cigarette, we would watch it get cleaned. Location wise, it is pretty decent. A short trike ride to town. Other than that, if you’re finding something else other than the beach and island hopping, you could also give their shooting range a go. It is nearby and was really good fun! • Service When it comes to service, I find it difficult to express in words how great it really is. The staff is always friendly with smiles and greetings whenever we’d crossed paths. An example, I had a case of food poisoning (not related to Charms), and they were genuinely concerned for the next few days. While all the staff are great, Benjun really stood out. He was always on the ball, even walking towards the swimming pool with an ashtray before we could even ask for one. It’s the small things like that which makes one feel remembered and valued as a guest. Aside to that, me and my fiance got engaged during our stay in Coron annnnnnnnndddddddddd the staff went out of their way to prepare a romantic dinner just by the pool side. They had to move all the sunbeds to the side of the pool, put together a soundtrack on a portable speaker, and decorated the table with its surrounding area with rose petals and candles. There was so much effort and love put into it that it had both brought tears into our eyes. Needless to say, when we decide to visit Coron again, they would be our first choice of accommodation. We would like to once again thank the management and all staff onboard the Charms Hotel for making our stay a memorable one ♥!!!

This hotel is a new and modern hotel just on the outskirts of Coron Town. The rooms are a good size with a lovely small and new bathroom and the aircon works wonders. Town is within walking distance or you can catch a trike for 30 peso for two people (around 40p). The staff were extremely kind and friendly and the pool was perfect if you wanted a day of chilling. Although there aren’t many sun beds to you may have to chill on the floor. The restaurant food was cheap and tasty but be prepared if it’s busy to wait some time to get your food (this is the same in most of the Philippines so you get used to it). It is also very clean and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a simple place as you plan on spending a small time in the hotel as you plan on going on trips this is the place to stay. I would definitely recommend.

Hello guys, I can say that charms hotel has reasonable price and safe to stay in Coron, 5 minutes from the town but you can relax not to compare of some hotels that nearby to the busiest area passing by tricycle. motorcycle and more. in charms hotel I can say Clean and when I checked in a give them a very clear instructions on what they need to do. me and my friend stayed 8 days in the hotel and every other day we took the tour on the island from 830 till 5 pm and then during the free time we rented motorcycle to check the island. with charms hotel they can give you the best reservations.. the good thing I really had a good sleep in the hotel...
