Thank you Bacau Bay for your excellent hospitality. All the staff were kind, restepectful and corteous. Rooms were clean, comfy and cozy. Trully, a very relaxing place. Would definitely recommend this resort. Thanks most especially to staff Grace who served as our butler during our private Island hopping and to our tour Guide Marlon.

Hotel's Favorite
Bamboo-lined walkways beckon from the open-air lobby to the bright, spacious rooms with balconies overlooking native landscapes. There is a pier—the only resort with one—where a bar is set up nightly to take in the sunset. Restaurant is delicious and the salt and pepper crispy samaral exceptional. Breakfast is bountiful with an omelet bar and wide selection of Filipino and Western favorites; hot items rotate daily. Staff is abundant, accommodating, and attentive at every turn. If I had the find fault, some of the outdoor furniture is showing it’s age, and the sidewalks could use a good cleaning, but these did not impact the stay. Total relaxation found here!

Room Tip: Stayed during the rainy season. It was still well-staffed and breakfast well-stocked.

Beautiful Resort, super relaxed and quiet. All their staff are amazing and so welcoming, 10/10 for their hospitality. Would also like to leave a special mention to Darling and Mond, our guides that accommodated our island hoping tour around Coron that we booked through the hotel, without them the experience would have not been the same. Mond is extraordinary at what he does and we hoped all our island guides would have been like him, he told us so many stories about the islands and made our experience go far and beyond. Also he has great photography skills!!! He looked after us so so well, so as Darling, such a kind and loving person, she took take personally of my husband and i, keeping our things safe and making sure all our necessities were covered. She even gifted us 2 pictures that we took on the day to take home as a souvenir. On another note, the hotel is the only one with its own private dock, so the boat picks you up directly from the hotel, with no need to drive into coron. This is a super plus. If you are planning on a island hop tour, do no hesitate to do it through the Hotel. It was the best decision we made! We hope to come back in the future x

I had a wonderful stay, the resort is beautiful and the pool area is just stunning. It's not the hotels fault but there are roosters right beside that woke me up at 5:30 every morning. It spoiled the relaxing holiday not being able to sleep in like planned. Apart from that, I had a great stay

We stayed four days at Bacau Bay Resort in Coron in August 2023. Arriving at the place u think you have just landed in paradise. Very beautiful garden, pool and also sunset is very nice to see from this Resort! The staff was very friendly and they gave us a really good feeling when visiting here. The rooms are okay, we had one with a garden view.

My fiance and I went to Coron for a mini vacation and decided to stay at Bacau Bay. Pick up from the airport was a breeze as there was a designated van from the hotel. We got to book island tour packages in the hotel, but the tour operator was an independent one so payment was separate and there was miscommunication (they almost left us out!) Hassle aside, we enjoyed the convenience of a free buffet breakfast, but if you are more of an explorer you can do without it as the town is just a tricycle ride away and there are a lot of restaurant and food choices there. Looks like Coron has a thriving food scene! The resort buildings are okay, not too clean though but the rooms are relaxing, the airconditioning was great (it was unforgivably hot outside sometimes) and I think the interior had a very modern resort feel. We visited the mangrove area and there was a bar where one can relax and watch the sunset. Staff takes a bit of time to respond to requests (like water, extra towels, etc) but we loved the small snacks they leave after tidying the room up. All in all, we had a good stay, it's a good resort worthy to recommend to friends and families!

The staff made our stay comfortable and memorable. Booked with the island trip package and amazed by their attention to detail to make sure guests are well taken cared of. Stayed at an island resort during the same trip and can’t help compare that food and beverage quality and service of Bacau Bay are far more superior. Thank you Bacau Bay Resort. We’ll definitely be back!

Pros: room a good size, appeared clean. Shower okay, gym facilities, access to a pool, the bar for the sunset was lovely. When I became unwell, the staff were helpful in bringing food to the room and offering medicines. The breakfast was okay. Egg station too. Cons: it did not feel like a well looked after 4* hotel. The pool area seemed neglected, there was an awful sewage smell by our room and even after we complained, we were only offered the room next door which was naturally going to have the same issue and sought a refund, the refund has not been processed months after our stay. This is ridiculous! We were waiting for a tour bus for one of our tours one morning and told the reception we’d be at breakfast, they did not let us know when it arrived and it left without us. On checkout, the team did not trust us about the room and took some time to go check it over before we could leave. It was insulting and I wonder if they would have done this for an older couple. The travel to town for dinner is not a great walk and very dark for the walk back, the tuktuks are rocky and bumpy as the roads are hilly and uneven on the way back to the hotel. It would not be great for anyone who cannot hold on well or has back issues! This was our honeymoon and I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a romantic stay without issue. Honestly it really ruined our stay in the Philippines and we are still awaiting the refund! It was the worst hotel of all that we visited over two weeks. For a 4* we expected more.

My husband and I got the tour package with transfers, accommodation, meals, and tour. Overall, it was smoothly managed. The deluxe room was great and the evening cakes were a treat! We especially enjoyed the tour and the picnic lunch was a plus! We didn't expect to have so much food served for 2 people. We especially appreciated Ms Darlene who had glasses of cold water ready everytime we came back to the boat :) Mr Paul our tour guide was also great in providing the briefing and other information, very professional. The other great thing about booking the tour with the hotel is that you get picked up at the resort's private dock. There was also an unexpected souvenir! The pool was also great. The pool staff was there always to get the leaves out to maintain the pool's cleanliness. The restaurant staff were great and they unfold the napkins for you! They're always giving water, clearing the tables, etc. As a cat lover, I also appreciate seeing healthy cats around the resort! It was overall a great and memorable experience. Thank you Bacau Bay!
