We stayed here back in 2019. The rooms were still new then and the facilities as well. The pool was a great place to chill at. Their rooms were so spacious - loved how high the ceilings were per room. Back then they didn't have a great food selection, but we didn't care. Issue is that they're too far to be easily accessed by transpo. So you really have to walk a bit before you get to see a tricycle.
I swear to god this is from my real experience!! Please read and consider before you book. I had booked Vienna Hotel from 23/03/2021 to 28/03/2021 in the Deluxe King room. Due to the EOC Coron, they need me to provide Hotel booking, Return ticket and tour within 72 hours before traveling to Coron. So I completed them on 21/03/2021 but unfortunately, due to the IATF new Pandemic resolution on 22/03/2021 so no one can go out from Manila on 23/03/2021. It’s a kind of emergency case from the government. PAL and tour understand and let us refund for the full amount because of uncontrol emergency case. However, this hotel said that they will keep 50% of my money and refund for 50%. The customer service can say just only “not allow to refund, it’s our policy” but they did not understand the abnormal situation just base on normal situation policy. Besides, I tried to ask to talk with the manager but the manager didn’t want to talk to me just let CS talked only. “To my truly honest, I was so DISAPPOINTED this is VERY SELFISH and UNPROFESSIONAL.” They pushed the burden and responsibility to me just because they didn’t want to lose money. Is this exactly our fault? Can we compromise? Well, if you want to stay in this hotel for your trip, please make a question with yourself, family and companion with service, safety, cleanness, money, and worth first because no one will take responsibility for you. There are lots of other satisfied hotels out there. Please think carefully I don’t want you to end up like me. Lose money, time, trust and good feeling.…
Felt like a western hotel rather than some of the beach huts/resorts we had stayed in during our time in the Philippines. Nice to break up the trip with some modern facilities. Motorbike rental on site which was convenient. Didn’t use the pool as there are so many amazing beaches in reach with a motorbike rental but looked nice.
We found this hotel nice, not too fancy but perfect for our needs. location is great, a bit up/downhill but we loved interacting with our multiple tuktuk drivers that for pretty much nothing are taking you everywhere. Pool was ok for a 20 minutes swim after our tours. Bar area was nice as we always drunk couple of things there before and after dinner in town. Staff spoke great english and helped us book 4 private tours and tuktuks to the pier to move to El Nido. don't expect this place to be a resort-like
I have just arrived at Vienna Hotel, which I booked as the photos showed an outdoor pool with sun loungers. When I arrived, there were no sun loungers, only tables and chairs. I asked at reception why the photos showed them if they didn’t have any. They said they were broken. I would have booked a cheaper hotel if I was going to have to sub bathe on the beach regardless. I suggest you take off the misleading picture from your website and booking.com
New hotel with clean rooms, nice bathroom. Wifi worked, breakfast was adequate, decent pool, tours easily arranged. Only negative was the long 400m steep uphill walk back to the hotel at nighttime. Trikes are available for 30 peso.
We booked a standard room for a decent amount of money. And we check in to a cellar room without a window and the smell you would assume. After an payed upgrade we got a okayish room with nice balcony and good sea view. The room was more or less clean but again a horrible smell of chemicals. And the toilet furniture collapsed after touching it. A request to fix it was never executed. But if not enough starting from 7am the played Christmas music nonstop in the pool area until we knew all songs by heart. We tried the breakfast once because it was included... It remained with this one try.
For $92 per night this place is not worth it to me. Bathroom hairs everywhere, luke warm water in bathroom, A\C DID NOT work for 3 nights straight, I have informed the front desk and they never came to fix it. They claim they have in room dining but when I called to order, food was not available at all. No elevators in the building, so if you're staying on the 3rd floor it will be such a hassle.
The room they gave us was mouldy I understand that in Coron the humidity is a problem but my friends rooms were okay. The window lock was broken. Breakfast it was a bit limited. The pool needs regular cleaning as it was a little green on the sides. Staff is pleasant and helpful. They made our stay better.
My Husband and I were able to stay at this hotel. Great place, great food, friendly Staff, still remember ms. Anna mulleda. We had minor issue about the room we stayed but she was able to resolve the issue right away and made sure that the whole stay would be memorable and fun. Already plan on coming back the second time around with the rest of our family! Kuddos to the Hotel management I hope you can find employees like Ms. Mulleda.
