This place is so comfortable and relaxing. I most especially love the concept of bahay kawayan because it remind me of our old kubo when I was a child. It promotes the Filipino culture and the friendly staff represents the usual Filipino custom. The kubos are so cute and cozy. We rented a family one. There are five of us but the kubo is big enough for all of us. There is also the airconditioning for the extra comfort. The place is so clean and there are plenty of toilets and showers around. They also have their own restaurant but if you fancy something different, Mcdonalds and Lobster king are 5 minutes walk from the place. Their wifi signal is also very good. You can book island hopping trips and ferry through them. Jen is always around if you want information about how to get to certain places in the town. The only thing that I would recommend is perhaps adding more light in the garden because it is too dark at night. I will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable but comfortable place to stay in Coron

The staff was amazing. The room was pretty good as well (we took the AC room which was a good decision). Roosters can be a problem so get earplugs if you are a light sleeper (Not many things manage to wake me up, but those roosters did it).

Me and my friend were staying here for 5 nights. Unfortunally both of us felt sick but Grace, the host, made everything better. She helped us booking our flight and gave us all the help we needed and more !! Make sure to stop by at Bahay Kawayan when you visit Coron, you would definately not regret it! Thank you so much, Grace and the rest of the staff. FELIZ NAVIDAD !

We found & went to this place just because it was the cheapest we could find. However it is really good for the price you do pay. Great little huts with a fan which are a great alternative for a couple days which we really enjoyed. We set up our own mosquito nets as well which were quite easy to hang up. WiFi isn’t the best but I think that’s standard for most of the Philippines, also it is the height of wet season. Most of all the staff are SO helpful. They helped us with so many things. Organising boat trips, telling us how much a tricycle should be and really helping us out with what to do. Also we had a problem when the boats weren’t running to El Nido and we had to quickly book a plane ticket and again they could not have been more helpful.

We went to Coron with friends and family and stayed at Bahay Kawayan Backpackers Inn for 4 days and 3 nights. We booked the family room w/ AC (Tulip 1). The property is well maintained with very helpful staff. It is very near the town proper. The owners are very accommodating and were very helpful with their recommendations on where to go and how to go abt it. The nipa huts are nice and cozy. The wifi is good. Their restaurant, Tastee Spoon, offers a wide array of delicious Filipino dishes. With all these, their rate is unbelievably cheap! We will definitely go back and recommend this place to friends and relatives.
