The staff here is accomodating. The place is quiet and is really cheap compared to other similar lodge. The front desk will assist you in booking your island tours. There is unlimited coffee at the 3rd floor for a relaxing break. Nice breakfast also. i love the local "lamayo" marinated small fish. I will stay here again.
This place is budget but you get what you pay for, fairly basic, but great. Beds were comfy and rooms were bigger than other budget places we stayed in the Philippines. Free water & tea and coffee in the lobby which is great and tucked off the busy main road, but easily walk-able to town. Staff were really friendly, and so informative, helped recommend lots of things, rented us a scooter and booked airport travel easily. Breakfast again was fairly basic but good enough. Only downside is that chickens and dogs - who obviously live next door wake you up early.
We were very happy with our 2 nights at Ahras Place. It offers clean budget accommodation walking distance from town with good sized rooms. Our room had a rail to dry clothes on, a fan, air con and a TV. Everything seems in decent condition and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside was breakfast, which we didn't really enjoy. Overall I would definitely recommend to those travelling around the area and looking for somewhere cheap, clean and relaxed to come back to.
Informative Staff Nice Location 5 mins away from town proper They offer free flowing coffee 24hrs 24 hrs reception assistance Breakfast is good Clean room Best assistance in all matters Affordable price
Cheap option. No hot water, no wifi in the room, everything was kind of dirty and the beds were not clean at all. The WC was very small and the shower right in the side which made it all wet after having a shower.
cheapest and accomodating staff. located 5mins from town. quiet away from the noise of town. island tours is available and van transfer upon request. scooter rental is alsa available for guest only. you can save money by buying products from the local market and cookig it at the kitchen.
My stay in Ahras was definetely worth the price. Their staff were very nice and accommodating. I’d give the staff five stars for the effort they exert in taking care of their customers. Facilities in the hotel were quite basic, no option for hot shower though. Rooms were clean well kept. Location of the hotel was away from the main road, which made the evenings peaceful. Getting transport was not difficult either since you just have to walk to the corner to get a ride. Just a heads up for those with mobility issues, road on the way to the hotel is quite steep.
