Pros: Bed was comfortable and room was large. Staff was generally friendly. Location was quiet and as long as the people in the house across the way weren't singing karaoke it was quiet. Staff could arrange motorbikes, laundry service, transfers
Cons: not enough electrical outlets in the room, none near the bed, none in the bathroom. Missing things like a hairdryer and safe deposit box. Room had some cleanliness issues. A variety of bugs got into the room including a large roach and spider. Staff doesn't visit the room daily so things like water, soap, toilet paper have to be asked for and sometimes they have issues providing you what you ask for. Breakfast selection was very limited and they didn't cover fruit, many flies on the fruit.
If you can get a good enough deal it's okay to stay here but this hotel isn't without it's issues. Also, as others have mentioned, if you can't climb several steep stairs, don't stay here.

I had a pretty pleasant stay here! The staff really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable!
Our last night was my bf’s birthday, I wanted to surprise him with a cake and balloons. Most 4-5 star hotels have complimentary cakes and can decorate the room for you but I didn’t expect the service and help I got from the hotel staff. They helped me plan everything! they contacted a baker in the island, helped me place and order and had the cake delivered to our room. The staff also decorated the room with balloon and happy birthday signs on the wall. They did this free of charged, I only had to pay for the cake. They waited until we returned from our tour that night. One staff ran to the room and lit the candles while we were just a few minutes behind. My bf and I were actually quite surprised! It was so thoughtful of them, they really went above and beyond. They were all sooo incredibly nice and accommodating during our whole stay! They really made this place better!

We stayed here for 2 nights with our family, renting 2 rooms. The rooms were clean, bathroom fine. I had to ask for kettle/coffee- but they provided this without any issues. No tea(for those of you who like tea). Nice pool, with seating outside.
Restaurant was good with lovely breakfast selection. We chose to have a fruit platter (which we paid extra for), on top of the ‘breakfast plate’ per person, which was included in our room rate (we chose French toast and pancakes). Definitely worth it- plenty of fruit for 4 of us!
They hotel had organised a tuk tuk to pick us up from our late ferry from El Nido (which we had to pay). The guy however, charged us 4x a normal rate (he charged us a ‘per person’ rate)- so we pain400peso, rather than about 100 (still cheap). So do be aware.

We only stayed at Vela Terraces for one night. The booking was simple, and I couldn’t fault the value for money. The day of arrival, there was some confusion with the transfer from Coron airport to the hotel which started our stay with a bit of a wobble, however, once we arrived at the hotel and discussed the matter with the reception team, the problems were instantly rectified. The hotel staff were all delightful! The receptionist spotted on my passport that my birthday was the following morning and herself and the other staff surprised us with a little cake and wine during our evening meal (the food was delicious!). The room was beautiful; we were even offered an upgrade - it was spacious, very clean, simple but modern. The cleaning staff even removed a huge spider from our bathroom for us. All in all, we had a lovely stay and a restful night. We would happily stay again.

Very nice hotel with a very good restaurant. We would recommend it for your stay in coron. The location was good and you can still easily reach the center by foot or with a tricycle. Only bad point is the many stairs, which can be problematic if you are old.

I had the best experience here with about 10 of my friends! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The wifi was good in our room! The food at mangiis restaurant was served fresh (the corned beef breakfast is a must try) daily too and conveniently located downstairs. The rooms were tidy and very clean. From the second we walked into vela terraces we were greeted with refreshments and smiles. I felt incredibly safe here as well seeing a security guard on site for those late nights arriving back to your room.
I also liked that it was pretty simple to hitch a ride around on the local tricycles for those looking to venture out and explore local bars and food spots. The owners were incredibly hospitable as well and treated us like family. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I will be back and you should definitely book your stay here.

Vela Terraces is the best hotel Coron!! All the staff properly followed COVID protocols and were very accommodating. It was also easy to contact the front desk as you could just text them for any request. Moreover, the rooms are so nice, clean and comfortable!! I slept like a baby for 4 nights as it felt like I was sleeping in clouds. Furthermore, the wifi and signal is really great here!! Other hotel's I checked-in to had no signal at all which was inconvenient. Overall, Vela Terraces provided great services and met all my needs when staying in a hotel. We will surely come back and check-in again.

Accommodating and friendly staff! They provided excellent service during our stay. They even helped us book our tours on the spot, booked a motorcycle rental and helped us navigate going to Calauit Safari. They even provided an egg sandwich because they know we won't be able to eat breakfast for our early adventure. Didn't get a chance to get all the staff names but they were so friendly and always greeting us. With our rooms they provide room service everyday. Definitely a home away from home without any worry! Vela Terraces provide all kinds of services that make our stay hassle-free and smooth. Breakfast was very delicious and we also tried to dine at Maggis on our last day and it is one of our top 3 restaurants in Coron!

Cozy hotel in the heart of Coron. We have a comfortable stay, the room is clean, the bed is soft and all the amenities you need in a hotel is there. They also have excellent service special mention to Sir Vin and Kyle for making our stay a pleasurable one.
The Manggis restaurant serve great food from breakfast to dinner. You should try their Pizza if you ever in Coron.
Overall, its a great stay except we are given a room at the most top floor. So if you plan to stay here make sure you get a room from the first floor coz its tiring to always use the stairs.

very nice and accommodating hotel! staff are very friendly. you get the feels that you are away from the city while still getting a nice and modern room- which i love. the pool is also really great! water is perfect for cooling off yet not too cold. the resto- manggis also at the hotel is very convenient and just delicious! they offer a lot of homemade and locally produced dishes. the location is also perfect. it's only around 5 mins to the town which has a lot of restaurants and bars. overall, i highly recommend vela terraces!!
