Stayed for 4D3N in Coron Soleil and had to transfer to another room immediately, and they were able to provide one asap. The staff- I mean everyone in this hotel are friendly, hospitable and accommodating. The hotel was relaxing and has a great ambience too! Food was also great. Kudos for providing free breakfast tỏ guests. Definitely worth your money and experience.

I feel a little bit disappointed by the experience at this facility, especially given the premium price. Let’s start with the price, we were supposed to pay less than £400 for four nights, it ended up costing more than £500. We were on our honeymoon, so we didn’t mind too much about it, but we wouldn’t recommend paying by card as there are fees associated with this payment type, like a 5% surcharge and terrible exchange rate. The facilities are great, breakfast is satisfactory and most of the staff is competent, but I cannot stop comparing this experience to the one I had in Puerto Princesa at the Aziza hotel, where the staff was extremely attentive and overall awesome, for a fraction of the price (we paid 87£ for two nights there). On the first night, our room was swarming with flying ants, not ideal for such a premium establishment. Fortunately, we have been moved to another room, 209, which is probably clustered as a poolside premier. Unfortunately, the room has an internal door that connects to the other room, 210, so we had to listen to crappy music from some kids next door at 2AM. Not ideal. The electricity went out twice during our four nights stay, and in both occasions, the room’s electricity didn’t come back on when the generators where switched on, which resulted in the staff having to disable the RFID and leave the electricity on without the use of a card. During our stay, the staff has been doing repairs on the premises, which resulted in noises starting really early during the day. The supervisor apologies weren’t really convincing, I worked in hotels most of my life and I think it’s unacceptable to do works in the premises whilst the guests are about, even if it’s low occupancy season. Overall, the response to our issues was satisfactory, but I cannot help thinking that this establishment is not delivering the services and facilities they are selling. There are some positives though, like the pool and breakfast, which has improved since some of the oldest reviews have been written. I am sure the managers will learn from our experience and deliver a better service, but I also believe that given the location and overall experience, you should be able to find a better accommodation closer to the town centre (some reviewers mentioned the resort is 5 minutes to town, which is true if you have a scooter or get a tricycle but not if you are walking). This place might be perfect for a family with kids though, so if you’re like me and don’t really fancy having kids around, you might want to looks elsewhere.

Wow what a fantastic trip to Coron and a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel resort. The rooms were clean and modern, the pool was exceptional and the staff were so accomodating! The restaurant food was very good and it was a super fun trip for our family. We had 4 kids, ages 12-4 and they enjoyed it alot. THANK YOU Coron Soleil!!

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly, but I wouldn't recommend eating here. There are so many better value places to eat with much better quality food and much less expensive in town. My experience with the buffet breakfast was extremely disappointing. Arriving for breakfast at 08:30am there was NO FOOD in the buffet. There were ants crawling on the bread beside the toaster. The orange juice was almost empty as was the water. The selection of food was ordinary to say the least and the quality was as bad. Waited 25 minutes before we could eat and it definitely wasn't worth the wait. Nobody seemed to care there was no food. Eventually when something arrived it was one thing at a time with long pauses in between. Better not to offer breakfast at all than what was delivered. Breakfast was included in the room price, prices were over inflated. I wouldnt have minded paying what I did had the breakfast been good. Extremely disappointing. 😪

From the moment you walk thru their clean lobby, you are met with very warm Filipino hospitality. Warm smiles and respectful language. The front desk staff are very helpful, always attending to our every question or request promptly. The resort is truly fantastic, not too big so that it is more cozy while the rooms fronting the poolside are very spacious, clean, comfortable and equipped with wifi, amenities that are beyond my expectations like robes, slippers, pool towels, instant coffee and kettle, sanitation needs, etc. The staff helped us navigate our way around town by calling our trike rides, recommending the best restaurants around, and even setting us up for island hopping, etc. The resort staff pay attention to what we need and that made a lot of difference in making our vacation not just wonderful but over-all fantastic.

My family and I visited in July 2018. Not 2020. Facilities were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Agree with some of the other reviews that although staff were friendly, they are robotic, and are stuck in a box. Not a lot of flexibility. Could also use a change/upgrade in their checkin and checkout processes to simplify it and make it quicker. Not sure if things have changed but they should also start using credit card payments and catch up with the times. We were asked to do a bank transfer or pay cash. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I made reservations for my family and I to stay at this resort in January 2020 for a July 2020 stay. The reservations were made through hotels.com. When COVID hit the USA in March and travel restrictions were put in place, we hoped things would get resolved quickly. I called regarding our reservation in May and was told it was too early to discuss refunds due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID. I called back in late June and was DENIED a refund. I was forced to go to my bank and file a dispute, which was also denied. I just have to say that any company that would deny a refund and not offer a refund or a reschedule during a global pandamenic is TERRIBLE. No condieration that travel restrictions from the USA to the Philippines prevented us from arriving. Even if travel restrictions allowed us to fly to the Philippines, the 14 day mandatory quarantine would have made us miss the check-in date and entire planned duration. My family will be returning to Coron one day and rest assured we will not be staying at this resort or doing business with hotels.com. Neither will any of our family or friends. I urge everyone to consider my experience when thinking about doing business with this resort and hotels.com

Great 3 nights here-definitely made the most out of the great pool. Really enjoyed our pool side room which had everything you need-with a bathroom (mainly shower) that was a standout in comparison to other accommodation. Breakfast & bar were good and very professional staff in general.

We were told at arrival that our room type, Premier Room, was not available and they downgraded us to a Superior Room which usually costs 50% less than the room we booked. No compensation was offered except a 10% discount for the pool bar...laughable! We spoke to various people but all they would do is smile and say sorry while not addressing the issue at all. This kind of stressful experience is not what I want to have during a vacation. Especially the fact that the staff didn't care at all is upsetting. Too bad we have to go through the booking provider to get our money back. Cannot recommend the property due to this.
