Detailed Reviews
It was like a big house with extended areas for clients, bathroom flooded every time somebody uses it, no hooks to hold bath room accessories, the room has lots of mosquitos, the road way from the house to main road is not cemented that it is very hard for the tricycle to pass thru, the care takers were accommodating and helpful but needs training in there job. The wifi is not even worth useful. I am not recommending this place until the owner is ready to handle its business in managing a hostel.

We booked this hotel for one reason ,that they offer free shuttle to airport. When I booked it at bookings a.com,I filtered my search to free shuttle and this was one of the hotels that appeared on my search. So,I booked it on my last day of my stay. When I checked out ,they said that I have to pay for the shuttle. If we’ve a known that there was no free shuttle, we could have find a better place to stay on our last night in Coron.
The house itself is nice.Large rooms and clean. But in the contrary, the street going there was dirt road and very dusty. Not very good for people with asthma. At night,it’s very dark and no street lights which make it so difficult to explore at night. We wanted to stay up late to enjoy our last night but,we needed to go home because the road is scary at night.

We really likes this place. It’s a 10 minuters walk from ”the center” but we prefered that since it was very quite. The host was really nice and have us extra cash when the ATMs were broken so we could pay for the tricycle. She also let us have the breakfast for free since we did not have any cash. The rooms were clean and the shower had warm water! Really affordable!!

It was cheap. We were 8, we have 2 rooms. The 1st room with 6 beds, has it's own bathroom. Millions of mosquitoes inside the room, ants and other insects. Floor smells so bad coz the bathroom floor floods all the time so probably everytime somebody use it, it carries the dirt from there. Bathroom door knob broken, water interruptions, towel rack broken so nothing to hang your stuff, we asked them to fix everything, but were never fixed, we stayed there 3days/2nights. Far from everything, transportation is very expensive might as well get a pricey one that is close to town. Street is literally not done at all super rocky and dusty. Our transportation to the airport who were arranged by the part owner, came very very late, good thing my cousin made some calls and got another one. We informed the owner regarding all the issues but were very defensive of everything instead of acknowledging it. Check-in to this hotel at your own risk!

Ricardo Valley Inn is Safe, budget friendly, Clean with friendly staff. situated away from the busy streets so you will be at peace here. wifi in the whole palawan is awful so i suggest use mobile data. everything here is accessible via tricycle which will cost you 10/15 pesos only, just ask the staff if you need a trike and they will book it for you. the inn also have a nice common area where tourists can mingle and socialise. you can also cook our own food in their kitchen if you are in a budget. will definitely stay here on my next visit

We stayed there for 4 nights. they only have 2 staff (they are very nice). the room was ok however the bathroom is too small, no wifi, no cellphone signal. rough road going to the lodge.. no store near the area for you to buy some necessities for emergency need.

arrived at ricardo valley inn after booking and paying in advance to be told there was no room for us and we would be moved to different accommodation. this would have been acceptable however when i checked again online property were still saying they had availability.
be aware as previous reviews say this has happened to them.
also in the short time we were there waiting to be moved the wifi did not work- they told us it is very slow or sometimes does not work

Nice staff, helped to organize the airport transport and let us use their kitchen as we had a very early flight when no staff was up that early.
Quiet location, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast for very reasonable prices.

This is a very good accommodation, worth your money! We stayed for 5nights (Oct 12- 17, 2018) with my 2 other friends. It is located in a very peaceful neighborhood and less 10 mins ride from the main town proper. The whole inn is very clean and they have a mini store that you can buy food (chips, water & etc) I'm not that sure about the price thou plus you can pre order breakfast for 150php. Wifi is good too, you can use it on the common area and to our room.
We booked a room for 3pax, the room is spacious, clean, has a good running a.c with a separate fan, comfort room has a cold and hot shower and has a bidet.
Staff's were very helpful and attentive on all we need!
The only downside is that there is no signal (cellular signal both smart and globe) inside the inn. The road going to the inn is not paved so you will be walking on a rough road to and from the inn, but the staffs is willing to help you get a tricycle so you won't walk on the road but less 2mins won't hurt if you walk going to and from the inn.

A couple pros and cons about the place which is why I'm on the fence and gave it 3 stars. Not my first choice nor my last if I had to choose a place to stay overnight in Coron.
Bad news first...
1. Some tricycles will charge a little more to drop you off here because it's on a slightly uphill climb of a dirt road. A lot of tricycles might not have the engine power to make it up with your luggage or a large group of people. Regular rate within Coron is 10 php per person. Here they may charge you 20 or even 30php/person. Depends on time of day/night and how desparate they know you need a ride.
2. Tricycles don't pass through this side road often so you may need to ask the front desk to call you a tricycle.
3. Thin walls.... that's all I'm saying. Use your imagination.
4. Housekeeping should do a better job at sanitizing the washroom and keeping it looking fresh and clean.
5. Bugs... more than usual. It's the tropics. You'll encounter bugs... but I think this can be reduced by extra and thorough housekeeping.
Let's end on a Good note...
1. Friendly and helpful staff.
2. On site mini stock of snacks and drinks for sale.
3. We were able to buy and prepare our hot coffee/tea in the morning. They provided mugs and boiled hot water no charge.
4. They can help arrange tours if you're interested and transportation to and from airport.
5. Location just outside of the main core of Coron so it's a little more quiet except for the occasional barking dogs or roosters.
6. Working A/C and fan.
7. Hot water shower
Overall an ok stay and reasonable rate.
