Awesome Family Staycation

We had an awesome stay at Treetop Suites. All the staff were all attentive and friendly. Upon checked-in, we were greeted and ushered to our Standard Room with double beds. My kids love the coziness of the room. We also got the pool view which made the kids all the more excited. The bed was comfortable, soft, and clean. It has a safety deposit box, hot and cold shower, towels, and toiletries. This place is near cafe, restaurants, and even atm machine. I'd book this again when I'm back in Coron.

No Wifi in your room Sir,,,,

cons,, no .1 - no wifi in the rooms,, despite ongoing complaints from travelers on here,, i feel a bit cheated to book a room base on my search, free wifi, breakfast,, second- receptionist need a bit more life and character/ charisma/ and will to deal with tourists, like 100% more than she got,,, safe in the room available only after u pay yet another security deposit,, on positive note the top two rooms, which they call suites/ not such thing/ are nice and got two double bed and nice clean design feeling, also boys working as maintenance, carry suitcases, keep rooms clean are super nice,

Thank you for your review Ma'am! May we just clarify regarding the Internet connection, Internet connection is really a problem in Coron Town and we keep on looking for possible solutions on how to improve it's quality. As of today, Internet providers find it hard to add another line for the internet. With our front desk officer, most of our good reviews are with our staffs. Safety deposit box is available in our rooms. Security deposit is not connected with the availability of the safety deposit box in the rooms. Safety deposit is required for the protection of the hotel. Most hotels have this Ma'am. Lastly, thank you for pointing out what you like in our hotel. We hope to be of service with you again. Let us start with the positive side: Friendly staff Now the negative: Rooms are big but no suits, the hotel name is a cheat. Rooms are very crude. Nothing like a rolling bar for your clothes. The fridge is under the small desk so it is unusable. The toilett with lose seat, broken shower rail and rosty tube, nothing was repaired in spite of our request. One small bag of shampoo and a soap that is all for the bathroom. The towels were not changed (though not on the hanger) nor the bathmatt which was even missing at all some days. The breakfast is more than simple: 2 eggs any style, 2 half-toasted bread with a tiny spot of marmelade, no butter, little slice of cooked ham, half small banana, that is everything you get. Towels for the tiny pool have to be paid. No hairdryer in the room. You have to rent one from the front desk for 1 USD per day! No internet in the room, only in front of the reception. It is slow to unusable. We had other hotels with more than 2 MB/s. And finally this hotel is totally overpriced.…

Thank you for taking your time to review Sir! We just want to ask which room did you booked with? As our p\Premium f\Family rooms have what you noted. The fridge, hairdryer and cloth hanger/cabinet. This rooms are also quite new. We also have not received any complains regarding the toilet seat, shower rail and tube in any rooms whether a Premium Family, Family or Standard room. Our rooms comes with the basic toiletries which is replenished everyday during the duration of your stay. For the breakfast, it is complimentary/free with our accommodations but it has 8 choices of food set you can have. You may opt for the choices with a larger servings or rice meals. Our towels are available in the rooms. You can bring it if you will use our swimming pool at the lobby but an extra set is charged for Php 50.00. You may ask our front desk to change your towels or bath mat everyday. Internet connection is really a problem in the entire town but we never stop inquiring whether a better signal will be available in Coron someday. For the meantime, WIFI is available at our lobby. Finally, thank you for your comments with our staff. We hope to be of service with you again. God bless!

Centrally located but lacks service

This is a very centrally located accommodation that is within Coron Town and walking distance to everything. The premium family rooms are the biggest and best although a tad overpriced and a few improvements would make them better. When we stayed, the beds only had a thin sheet as a blanket and the children were cold during the night. We asked for extra blankets but reception said they didn't have any and that we would have to hire them!!!! We also asked for a clothes/drying rack to hang wet swimming gear but again they said they couldn't provide one. Being on the top level and getting plenty of sunlight, this would've been perfect for hanging up wet towels and swimmers during the day or in the evening. Our room was never cleaned or replenished with toiletries and fresh towels unless we asked for it each day. Also the cleaning staff kept taking away the bath mat and never replacing it with a new one. The showers have very weak pressure and the shower head was old, clogged and needs to be replaced. The free breakfast was just a simple and light one that you choose from a couple of options and not buffet. Wifi was very slow and infrequent in the room. The staff are all very polite but not overly friendly and don't seem to know much when you ask them questions. Overall, the hotel seems to be very overpriced for what they're offering. …

Thank you for your review. We'll answer this point by point. We regret that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are sorry that your children gets cold at night but it might be of great help if you have increased the temperature in the room. We do have rolling hanging/drying rack in the room that you can bring outside if you needed to dry your clothes.Also, Our room attendant will clean the rooms once guest advised for a make up room or hang the sign for make up room. They will also replenished the toiletries, change the bath towels and bed covers once advised for clean up. We strictly clean the room only if the guest advise/ask for it to avoid conflict with guest not having knowledge that their room will be opened For our breakfast, it is complimentary on your stay. You may opt for a larger serving of food in the 8 choices given or you may order another breakfast set not on the free breakfast menu. The wifi is also not available because we will only install one once better infrastructure has been set up by a service provider that can provide a faster and sufficient signal for all. As of now, free wifi is only available in our reception area. As to our staffs, almost all our positive review is because of them. We ensure that they are well trained and knew everything within our hotel. . As our guest, we want you to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay with us. That it was not so is something we are truly sorry for. It was a situation however that could have been addressed appropriately and promptly had you brought it up at a time when something can still be done about it. We hope you consider us again on your next visit in Coron.

Good location but poor rooms

Location is ideal, located near the restaurants and walking distance from the port - where the tours leave from. Room was very basic, with no view at all and the bathroom was dirty. Room was also tiny with no space for luggage. Location in the busy area means it’s very loud, with a sports court right next to it, which was loud everyday until late. Breakfast was also very limited, with choice of pancakes, eggs or a traditional breakfast which needs to be preordered the night before. Hotel staff were friendly and willing to help if you had any questions. Ideal if you’re not planning to stay in the room much and would like something basic.

Thank you for taking your time to review Ma'am/Sir! Our Treetop Suites has three types of rooms to offer- Standard room, Family room and Premium Family room. Rooms are much bigger with Family and Premium rooms. We also ensure that our rooms are cleaned before our guest could check-in. For our location, we are at the center of the town and it is a busy month at Coron but loud music is only until 10 pm. Our breakfast are complimentary with the accommodation ma'am and it comes with 8u choices of breakfast menu and with unlimited coffee, tea and water all day.

Good location but NO WIFI in rooms

Good for short visit. VERY CLEAN. Friendly & helpful staff. NO WIFI IN ROOMS u have to sit in lobby to access free wifi.. I think most of the hotel has the same system. No fridge No kittle No teeth brush No soap & shampoo No phone to call reception u have to come down. No bottle water in rooms but u can get in second floor They will ask u what u prefer for Breakfast cz its not buffet but nice food. There was no safety box. We asked for one and we got 👍 Recommended

Thank you for taking your time to review Ma'am! For the WIFI, internet connection is really a problem in Coron Ma'am. It is really slow all over the town. Telephone is also not available in Coron. Coron people uses mobile phones for communication. Fridge and Kettle are available on our Premium rooms but you can ask for our front desk office for assistance if you will be needing a kettle and if you need to refrigerate something. Soap and shampoo is available Ma'am and replenish everyday. Drinking water is unlimited and you can get it on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Unlike other hotels which charges water bottles in a higher price, ours is free. You just have to refill your water bottle in our water dispenser.

Excellent staff and great location

Always loved Coron and their people. First time ive checked in here after having stayed at many different hotels and resorts in Coron, this Hotel is one of the better choices and best priced properties. Management and their staffs are your typical Coron people, warm and very happy people. Their breakfast is decent. Just dont expect syrup for their pancakes. The restaurants next door ( Get Real, Poco and Los Guapos are one of the better options in Coron) Would definitely stay here again

Captivating hotel

The hotel staffs are very accommodating and friendly. They will happily answer any of your questions and will give you tips on how to go on tour if your on a budget. My stay was very peaceful and quiet. Unforgettable stay here in Coron.

Recommended ~ value for your money

I would like to thank you for accommodating us. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Big thanks also for the room arrangement. My husband was definitely surprised when he saw the room. Good location, very basic hotel

Treetop Suites is a small hotel located within walking distance from restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping stalls. Amenities are pretty basic. Limited choices for breakfast. Poor location of power outlets in the room - we had to move the bed to be able to plug in our phone chargers.

We have power outlets near the television, bed side table and Cr which is available for use.
