We stayed 5 nights, staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities are exactly as you see them on Booking.com. we had a huge room with a nice veranda. 5 min walk from the beach and town. The communial kitchen was very useful and is well stocked Nice quiet location. Highly recommend.

My friend and I stayed at Bohol Sea Breeze for 4 nights. Room was cozy. There were 2 beds that were set up on a higher level like an elevated floor (it looks like a stage). And another bed on the lower floor. TV has limited channels but there is an AUX. They also have a convenience store but they close early like 7pm so better get all you need before that time. The AC also took some time to cool. You can do your own cooking in the resort, but if you don't feel like it, just walk towards Alona beach and choose from their array of canteens and bars.

Really Nice Budget Accommodation. We booked two rooms. A family room and a twin. Good beds good air-conditioning, A step up from most backpacker hostels. Great value for money. Would suit budget conscious, backpackers and local Pilipinos perfect for your Barkada, Great for families and small kids. Family room is huge. You can do your own cooking in the outdoor kitchen, breakfast and dinner just get your food from the local market. Nice outdoor seating area at night to eat drink and chat. Close to Alona beach 3 min walk, close to the main road 5 min walk, shops and restaurants and all local amenities, Souvenir shops, tourist tours, dive shops and motorbike rental. The local Philippino caretakers couldn't do enough to help they were fantastic, even booking a really cheap van ride to the Port and Airport. They even let us put our cold drinks in the reception fridge. They also have attached a Sari Sari store for any snacks or supplies you may run out of. Free Wi-Fi from memory too.

These cottages are for budget travellers who can tolerate accommodation that is inferior to most backpacker hostels. The good things first. The cottages are a few minutes walk from Alona Beach where there are many eateries that open for breakfast. The hosts are friendly and relaxed. The room had a fan and airconditioner as well as good wifi. The grounds are well maintained and are attractive. It is also very quiet and a peaceful place. The room was clean but ants inhabited most places. The bath towels were ok. Now for the not so good things. The toilet was the smallest I've ever come across. It was near impossible to sit on and get up from. I resorted to squatting -very dangerous at the best of times. Everything was makeshift and barely maintained. The plumbing was largely plastic pipes drilled through walls. The double bed was ok but the sheets were threadbare. There was a bunk bed in the room but I would never recommend it. The room was not cleaned during my stay but I'm not an untidy or wasteful traveller so it didn't really bother me. Mosquitos are rife but the host did provide a spray. Luckily my time in the room was to sleep only. Most of my time was spent at the beach or sightseeing. To get from Taglibaran airport to cottages costs 300php for a tricycle and takes about 30 minutes. There are no shops or supermarkets near to the cottages. The grounds did have tables and chairs and outdoor cooking facilities. It seems that the cottages are popular with the young ones who visit Alona to learn to dive. I tolerated this place but I wouldn't stay there again. It sure lacked creature comforts but it was for 2 days only and the pleasantness of Bohol and Alona beach compensated for the stay in the cottage. If you want cheap, basic and no frills accommdation at all then this is for you.

Children under 1 are not allowed in hostels, sharing a room with 8 more people, is a lack of respect for others, bad policies and rules of this place. The front desk person does not pay attention to this, the right thing would be to rent a room for the family

The rooms were simple and clean. The air conditioner and fan worked well. And it had a shortcut to Alona Beach which took 3 minutes. The property was well maintained and beautifully landscaped. And, even though we didn't ask, I believe we could have used their kitchen facility to cook. About the only negative thing I can say is that there was never anyone in the front desk office and because of this, it was always difficult to figure out who actually worked there.... oh and you have to get used to small lizards climbing up walls and the ceiling...after all, you are in the provinces.

Booked this place at the last minute because nothing else was available. What a terrible mistake. What a dump. If you stay here make sure to bring your on bath soap. They don’t provide it. I will search Bohol tomorrow for another hotel. I will gladly sacfrice what I paid. This place is a crap hole.

I have booked this trip for my family. there is a good and bad review I have received. positive : The garden is nice have all amenities for Family make your own meal its a minute walk from the beach but its not beach front The House is Clean although there is a smell on the toilet This need to be address by the management I would have mark the place verygood if i did not hear them complaining about the smell on the toilet. I would still come back to this place because of its amenities and its position as it is value for money . There again its a resort not a hotel so the rating in terms of star rating will never be the same . Room for improvement : check the rooms and bathrooms before Guest arrive if there is anything smelly fix it people staying longer in the property like good 3 days at least clean thier room once during thier stay as it will show a lot of dedication on customer service. I think this accommodation still have a potential of becoming better .

We stayed their for 2 nights with my sisters in our church community. Our room was big, good for 7 people. They have a common cooking area and dining stuffs were available for the guests with no charge. It's just a few minutes walk to the beach. The garden is a good place to unwind.

Cheap and cheerful private rooms right next to Alona beach. Although not on the beach itself, it is a mere 1 minute walk to get to the sea, restaurants and bars. The staff were very kind and even lent us money to pay for our tricycle when the driver didn't have enough change for our big notes. The room itself was great for the price, with both fans and air conditioning. The electricity on the island often goes off for hours at a time but the hotel has it's own generator. They don't usually use it in the afternoon but if the power is still off in the evening they will switch it on to ensure you can shower after a day in the sea and you never have to spend a night without air conditioning
