An absolute gem near Alona Beach, Alona Grove Tourist Inn offers a cozy and economical retreat perfect for travelers. Our recent stay was delightful; the Inn is just a short walk from the beautiful Alona Beach, making it convenient for beach lovers. The rooms, while modest, are comfortably furnished and equipped with good cable TV offering a variety of international movies, ensuring a relaxing evening after a sunny day at the beach.

What really sets Alona Grove apart, though, is the exceptional service. The owner went above and beyond by helping us with a personal issue – mailing a forgotten item back to us in Cebu without accepting any compensation. Such acts of kindness and customer care are rare and deserve to be commended.

The pricing was very reasonable, and the quiet location meant we could enjoy both the nightlife of Alona Beach and a peaceful night's sleep. Whether you’re on a budget or just looking for a tranquil place near the beach, Alona Grove Tourist Inn is a top choice. Highly recommended for its warm hospitality and excellent value!

We rented two rooms. They gave us extra beds because we were a group of 6 (3 in each room). The room was spacious and beds were good enough but I noticed that it made me itch a little. It might be bed bugs but it didn’t bother me that much though. Our room was cold and cozy but the other room that we rented which was room number 3 has a faulty air-conditioning. Our friends were complaining that it will become hot sometimes. The comfort room was big and the good thing is it’s not clogging.

The staff was nice and accommodating but some of them sometimes gives wrong information and they are not coordinated because there was an instance where our driver was looking for us and they said that we already left but we were just in our room. No one cared to check.

The cafe is open for breakfast only. They have limited supply of food and the menu is limited as well. Better come early to get served.

It was a great stay nonetheless.

No restaurant, no pool, no hot water, approaches to & from beach interesting, BUT, plenty of restaurants close, water was not too cold, in between swimming on the beach, island hopping & snorkelling, a pool wasn't a problem. The room very clean & the bed was best I have found for budget hotel. The stay was fine.

I first enjoyed staying here. Room looked clean and I had my own bathroom for a low price.

But after two nights of bad sleep I found out I've been bitten by bed bugs!! Don't go there, you'll be itchy for a week!

Nice and clean place very close to the beach (but still quiet) with affordable prices. We paid 800 for a double non-air con room and cold shower. The room does not get that hot and you definately do not need a hot shower in Alona Beach! But they also have air con rooms. Internet was working fine.

To make it short:
Very clean
Nice and light room
Very near to the beach just 1 minute to walk.
I paid 15 euro and if your 2 everyone pays 7,50 what a price.
And the staff is really helpful & nice.
You can't find a better price anywhere for that :)

Room is okay for basic necessities like bed, tv, ac. No hot shower.

The staff in front desk when we asked how to get hot water for our noodles was rude.

Will not go back at this inn. And will not recommend this to anyone.

I think this hotel is built 2017 which could explain why it was so clean.
When you're backpacking in the Philippines you're used to dirty and smelly bathrooms but this was an exception. Superclean and big room with good beds and air con for a lower price compared to hotels around. There is a construction site beside it(should be finished during 2018) but they stopped working around 10 pm so it didn't bother us too much. I'll definitely recommend staying here.
