Check in and checkout was fast. The property has two-pools to the delight of my kids. We like the room lay-out and its quite a treat to have only a few rooms in the property so you can enjoy your peace and quiet. We were there over the weekend and were happy to know that there was a Sunday mass at the hotel for guests and employees alike. Food at the restaurant is good and the location is perfect for a relaxing, no-rush breakfast or dinner. The only bad about this place is the beach. It is quite muddy so you really never get to enjoy it.
Simply the best service, the best place to stay with the family, the best location if you want a quiet place. Not too far from where the party place if you want to party. Combination of modern rooms with natural architecture.Wonderful Villas for a family with its own pool.
Don't go here if you want a Beachfront hotel! They have access to something I can't call a beach where you want to go in and the "sand" going down to the "beach" is concrete looking like sand. We had to spend our days at another hotel to gain beach access, making our trip way more expensive then we planned for. I'm desapointed on the false marketing as a beachfront hotel. On the Pro side, good service, good pool, clean environment.
This hotel is well kept, clean and has really nice staff. The reason we feel totally ripped off is that it sells itself as a "beach" hotel, even posting a totally misguiding photo of the "beach". There is nothing even near a beach! The hotel has a narrow stretch of land by the water, yes, but what could be percieved as "sand" in the image, is actually beige grovel on top of a concrete surface. Entering the water you will find a combination of mud and sticky vegetation. This place was the first we visited on our Phillipines trip and we booked this place for one reason only; to start off our vacation with a few days of luxury, and all the convenience with staying in a good hotel with direct access to the beach. We were SO DISAPPOINTED! We ended up taking tricyles or the hotel…
I attended my friend’s wedding here and this resort could turn any bride’s dream beach wedding to a reality! It easily housed 500 guests comfortably, and provided enough space for people to mingle and walk around the property. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. This resort should definitely be considered by anyone planning their beach wedding!
The resort itself is quiet. Rooms were ok but not spectacular tho the toilet was amazing. Had a bit of a problem at first because of the musty smell of the room but was resolved by housekeeping. Service was excellent. Service personnel were very accommodating from front desk, to housekeeping to Aplaya. My only complaint would be the exorbitant prices in the restaurant. Food serving was small and not that tasty for the price.
This resort is located in Danao beach, Panglao. I stayed for 2 nights here with my wife. There is well managed pool in front of lobby. (8:00~ 20:00) And there is also another well managed pool near restaurant. (8:00~22:00) The restaurant located near beach. And they served buffet style breakfast. You can see nice beach view when you visit this restaurant. The room also good. However I think the wardrobe is location is not good. (It’s located in front of toilet.) Anyway this resort provide nice service, clean room and good view with reasonable price.
First of all, I would request the trip advisor team to review the legitimacy of these ratings. I have traveled the world staying in similar resorts and this one, is by far, the worst resort I have ever stayed at. It is a false advertising, over priced, poor quality rip off. This resort is a 2/5 at best. Some considerations for fellow travellers and the hotel itself. A) I am a 6’2” Man and I can’t fit under the shower. B) There is no sand beach at this resort (just sharp rocks). C) Can’t swim in ocean and water sports basically can’t be used, water is to shallow, full of urchins and your confined to a very small area. D) Poor selection of drinks and well overpriced E) Food also a rip-off and sub standard. Indeed the worst food we have had in all of the Philippines (example of…
My husband and I stayed at Bluewater Panglao for our honeymoon. We were looking forward to a relaxing beachside holiday, however, we got quite the opposite. Firstly, there is no beach. There is a horrible rocky section and due to tide issues you cannot even swim. For a resort that claims to have free water sports, we were horrified. Don’t be mislead by the online photos picturing a “white sandy beach” Food and drinks are severely overpriced and of a poor standard. We chose not to eat or drink at the hotel for this reason and preferred to get a scooter/trike into town. For a luxury resort we really did not want to spend any time there. It is chaotic, noisy and simply not a relaxing place to be. Very disappointed and we will certainly never return. I do not recommend this…
It's my second time in Panglao Bohol but this island paradise doesn't disappoint me as I discover Bluewater Resort. It's an paradise within a paradise island. I love the total ambience of the place coz its so relaxing. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is decent enough for you have good selection.
