Panglao Bluewater is a blueprint for the future, creating a luxurious escape that honors Bohol’s natural beauty. Nestled in an island with white-sand beaches, pristine waters and marine sanctuaries, the resort’s Filipino architecture and design complement Bohol’s culture, inherent warm hospitality and eco-focused initiatives. The challenge was to introduce a unique design concept that will match well with the environment. Wat the resort came up with is organic yet elegant, innovative and functional. According to designer, Benji Reyes, “There is a feel of luxurious sophistication but not ‘stuffy.’ The atmosphere is kept friendly, comfortable and warm.” Rooms: 86 Rooms (32 Deluxe, 46 Premier Deluxe Pool-view, 4 Family Lofts, 3 Honeymoon Villas and 1 Family Villa) Dining: Aplaya Restaurant (International and authentic local fare, featuring exotic flavors made fresh with local products). Baroto Pool Bar (All-day dining and cocktails). Wi-fi access is available in all outlets. Spa: Amuma Spa Pools: Two free-form lagoon-shaped swimming pools with waterfalls. Recreation: Snorkeling and diving at the adjacent Marine Sanctuary and nearby Balicasag Island, diving safaris, sailing and windsurfing. Game room. Leisure: island activities and theme dinners, fishing and boat tours, cycling around Panglao Island, Dolphin and Whale watching (seasonal). Guided Island eco and adventure tours. More Options: Tropical weddings, romantic private dinners and beach picnics.

Has a three days relaxing and spoiled stay in this very good resort with private beach, swimming pools, two bars and a restaurant. Room spacious and comfortable, big bathroom with nice shower, very clean. Food at the restaurant is really you I, good cocktails.

Stayed 3 nights. Room was large, and bathroom was great. Room floor was dusty and we couldn’t walk in the room with bare feet. Even though the food at the restaurant is generally good and fresh, it is horribly overpriced, and we avoided eating there. At 8am the breakfast buffet has only a few leftovers and they don’t seem to replace anything. Communication from the front desk is poor. We went there for Valentine’s Day, however nobody informed us of their valentines dinner function. Also no communication about daily dining specials, and they didn’t inform us that their spa was open. Arranging airport transfer is difficult as communication via Facebook needs improvement.

The room was clean and tidy, but the downfall was it was infected with bed bugs. Food was a little strange to a European and think they could have better menus for western selection. The pool bar seemed to be always closed and there was no staff on attendance. The shower didn’t work properly and a shortage of toilet paper was noticeable. I have stayed at far better 4* hotels than this.

First time to visit this resort in Bohol. I was not able to inspect this last 2018. The resort is located in Panglao. A bit secluded. For those looking for a peaceful close to nature vacation. Perfect place. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom also. Food served at the restaurant taste good. Though its a bit expensive. 2 large pools. The beach because it was a cliff its rocky . Overall its recommendable..i stayed here for 3 nights.

I did not expect it to be memorable staycation since i read some not so good review but my experience in this resort proved me wrong! Good stuff: - all food we ordered is super delicious! The adobo rice, beef rendang etc, they are all delicious!!! For real! Mind you i only see 2 staffs but the way all food was prepared is impressive. - our villa is a perfect definition of staycation! The room is huge, clean and we have our own ample pool area and lounge where we can chill and relax! - the staff were friendly and reminded us that at all times we should follow the covid protocols which is nice since they really make sure all guests to follow the new normal. - the whole area is relaxing, nature feels❤️ For improvement: - i think none😄 we were there for a staycation, we don’t like the sea that much so the rocky shoreline does not bother us 😄 we stayed most of the time to our villa😉

We booked a one-bedroom villa for a family of four. We wanted to stay in the same room as our kids are still young (15 and 11). The villa is just perfect for us, with ample space to have fun and relax. The villa comes with a wading pool that's quite generous in size. An outdoor living room is one of our favorite spots day and night. Check-in was done with all the necessary health protocols in place, including an online registration and contact tracing form accessible via a QR code. Despite the low number of guests, the property is well-maintained and the limited number of crew helped each other to make our stay a comfortable one. Service was good. There are a few lapses here and there, but I have a wide room for understanding given the fact that each hotel division is staffed to a minimum. We ordered a five-course dinner on our second night and though we did not get a dinner-under-the-stars set-up because crew was afraid it would rain (though it didn't), the food made up for it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will really recommend to others who want to have a relaxing stay for a weekend or more.

This is my second time to stay at Bluewaters Panglao Beach Resort. Our first time was in 2011 when the resort just opened. Over time, I think the resort was able to maintain, if not improve, the property when it comes to landscaping and the addition of room accommodations. But given how the COVID 19 pandemic has affected us globally with the tourism industry among the hardest hit, this resort is no exception. They were short-staffed. The buffet breakfast was disappointing. I mean, where can you find a buffet breakfast with no pancakes and cereals for the kids? They also kept on running out of eggs and it just took some time before plates get refilled. Also, expect no slippers and robe this time. One good thing though, their promo rate made it affordable for everybody to go there. It was less than half the price we paid back in 2011.

Sirs Greg and Gian are the best!!!! Super grateful for your help. My family (all 31 of us) were booked as early as January to attend the wedding of my cousin in March. All our special requests - room assignment, room arrangement, transfers were accommodated. 11 members of the family (including my parents, lolo, and lola - all senior citizens) were greeted cordially on March 12. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Manila was put on Community Quarantine and the rest of the family was not able to follow to Panglao anymore. Sir Greg, Manager of Reservations, helped us with the cancellation of our booking and was very understanding of the situation. Sir Gian of the Front Office, assisted me as I rebooked the cancelled flights of my parents, lolo and lola. They made sure that the elderly members of our family were in excellent condition and I was updated of their situation. I felt at ease knowing that members of my family were in good hands. DAGHANG SALAMAT!!!!!
